Creepy Crawley haven't won away yet, we haven't won at home yet.

No idea if either of us will break that duck, most likely going to be a draw!
Since Yems was "removed" we have won one game and amassed a massive seven points! If you consider that when this happened there were some who thought that, with a bit of luck, we might sneak a play off place the fall has been startling.

Having said that, on Saturday we had the highest xg rating in the league (according to our chairman) and I'm hoping we may have realised that this is big boys football and speed and toughen up.

Still don't think we will get anything though.

Telford on the bench for a team that can't score. :ffs:

Casey

Edit Telford starts!

No midfield though.

No Crankshaw for us today. He’s the only one who gives us a burst of something different so will be a huge miss.

Just heard from Carver. He’s already gone down on 4 Pools fans. He’s hoping to be in double figures by 3pm. Then he’ll start on the seats.

Corrected for you

Edmondson back on the bench, alongside Feeney who returned for Crewe but hasn't displaced Corey Whelan in the starting line-up.

Touch wood we're going to start seeing the squad improve as players return from injury over the coming month... it's just getting returning players up to speed and integrating them back into the team. Some forward creativity still missing but Jack Stretton had a good game at Grimsby and can hopefully provide some of that today.

Crawley are starting with one midfielder!

James Tilley on the bench but he is more of a number ten/ winger.

Maybe I should post this in the tinpot thread?

Rovers have gone for the Hemmings-Lewis pairing up front, which was pretty ineffective at Walsall, guess Nevitt will appear from the bench at some point. Otherwise as the Barrow game. Teams on poor runs usually like playing Rovers for some reason and Sutton not in the best of form. Hard game to call, thinking draw.

We are absolutely useless in the final third. Any time a player gets near the opposition box they get brain fog. It’s actually getting beyond a joke now.

County all over us at the minute. Won’t give us a minutes, peace. Although, we have hit the post and when we play it quick enough, they’ve been ripped open on a couple of occasions already.

Think we’ll go behind and come back in second half.

Louis John goes off injured after 5 minutes. Not long after his replacement Aaron Pierre also goes off injured. And we’re 1-0 down after a penalty.

The only reason we’ll probably stay up is because we have some alright defenders. The players at the top end of the pitch are abysmal, non league standard. Some of our “efforts” in front of goal today have been shameful, utterly shameful.

Terrible being outplayed and tbh the quality all round isn’t great. But Stockport could be more than 1 up, they like a shirt pull though and it’s working our players don’t seem up for the fight.

If it makes you feel better we’ve chucked away seven points so far this season in the second half.

Sounds like Rovers deserve to be in front, but the Lewis goal at the end of the half makes the scoreline a tad flattering

Pretty standard for us this season so far, create a hatful of chances, miss most of them, concede, score, see a player stretchered off. So far so Carlisle.

Ugh. Pegged back after totally dominating the first half. Sometimes I question our killer instinct. Seems so easy for us that we’re comfortable fannying about keeping it 1-0.

Men Vs boys today!

Our lads weren’t up for it at all.

No sour grapes at all, but by far our worst performance of the season by a country mile.

Excellent second half and thoroughly deserved win. Glad Simpson made the changes early on, because that first half front 3 wouldn’t have scored if they’d played till tomorrow night.

Can’t argue with the result, second half was as poor a quality game as you’ll see.

Crawley can feel harshly done by there. Contentious goal disallowed at 1-0, will need to see a replay on that. Thought they knocked the ball about well and looked dangerous at times. We took two of our one on ones though, following a superb free kick from The Rubbish Glennon. I felt we grew into the game as it went on and attacked with more purpose in the second half but we weren't great today by any stretch of the imagination. That's the kind of game you lose 3-0 when you're bang out of form like Crawley are. Positives for us would be the performance of Holohan who was back to his busy best and got a deserved goal, the clean sheet which I think the fullbacks needed more than Crocombe or the CBs and another goal for Taylor. Felt that Crawley were good enough in the middle and up top just lacking confidence. At the back though they looked susceptible to runs all afternoon. Khan and Clifton very close several times to just waltzing through and numerous through balls of varying quality sliced them open.

Beaten by the much better team, thought we were lucky to be 1-0 up and it just went downhill after that, Carlisle look like a promising side.

Seemingly forced upon us but 442 for us just doesn’t work.

Conceded a sloppy goal and then Mansfield were clever enough to realise that the referee was too weak to deal with any obvious shithousery.

Having said that, we didn't deserve anything more than a point. We've been found out and I don't think Wild's got any means by which he can change it. We aren't difficult to play against and we are currently as toothless as we were last season. Rochdale feels like a big game for some reason, our good start is disappearing quickly, on current form we are a 13th-15th side (which I would've taken before a ball was kicked).

Desperately poor stuff from start to finish. Arguably our worst performance since Hughes came in and a low quality game all round in truth. Put it down as a bad day at the office and move on.

Sounds like we were clinging on in that second half. Another 3 points on he road is very welcome. Tight in the bottom half. A point next week and we cohld be out of the bottom 2 - nosebleed territory.

We've been difficult to beat, but drawn a lot of games, been a bit pedestrian at times and ground out a couple of really turgid results and been ridiculously wasteful in front of goal. There's reason for some frustration because with better finishing we really could be up there with youse and Stevenage. Obviously HG has his own unique way of expressing that frustration.

A really tough game to watch for quality but we managed the game better second half, and shut Wimbledon down quite well for the last 30 mins.

Well happy with the 3 points, and a 3rd goal to alleviate tension in the game for once.
