It didn't sound the best of games down in SWLondon, but Rovers deserving their win against an injury-hit Sutton team. Able to get to my first Rovers game in about 6 weeks v Crewe. Hope it’s a continuation of our current good league form.

Should have been ahead first half against Salford then with their first meaningful attack they scored on the stroke of half time.

Second half we committed every sin when chasing a game. Silly fouls, letting the ref get involved, rushing and just kicking it long. Pretty poor.

Salford looked a good side but not a lot of end product. Think illness and injury is taking its toll at Sixfields. 2 laboured performances in a row.

Finally got the result we deserved. We’re not a good side but I’ve yet to see one of those yet really and we’ve played seven of the top 10.

It makes it even more annoying that DC and the worst DOF in professional football completely messed up our recruitment.

Only Orient have impressed me so far tbh we are all as shit as each other we won 3-1 but the standard of football was woeful.

Crawley can feel harshly done by there. Contentious goal disallowed at 1-0, will need to see a replay on that. Thought they knocked the ball about well and looked dangerous at times. We took two of our one on ones though, following a superb free kick from The Rubbish Glennon. I felt we grew into the game as it went on and attacked with more purpose in the second half but we weren't great today by any stretch of the imagination. That's the kind of game you lose 3-0 when you're bang out of form like Crawley are. Positives for us would be the performance of Holohan who was back to his busy best and got a deserved goal, the clean sheet which I think the fullbacks needed more than Crocombe or the CBs and another goal for Taylor. Felt that Crawley were good enough in the middle and up top just lacking confidence. At the back though they looked susceptible to runs all afternoon. Khan and Clifton very close several times to just waltzing through and numerous through balls of varying quality sliced them open.
No midfielders does mean the defence is easy to open up. Players out of position tend to be...well, out of position.

Every single game this season the opposition has had more shots than us. Our keeper reminds me of Rene Gilmartin (looks OK but hardly makes a proper save) so by the sheer force of probability we are going to lose.

Think positive. It can't get worse than bottom!

Beaten by the much better team, thought we were lucky to be 1-0 up and it just went downhill after that, Carlisle look like a promising side.

Seemingly forced upon us but 442 for us just doesn’t work.

Agree we were the better team overall, but you took your chance first half and we pissed about with ours. Nothing lucky about that so the HT scoreline was fair.

The changes second half made the difference for us. As mentioned further up our front 3 first half were abysmal.

Yep. We’ve not played them yet but when I’ve watched them on highlights they’ve looked a cut above anyone else.

No offence, but after your performance at EP last week and smash and grab to steal a point, I’m pretty amazed you’ve won two games this week.

You’ve only lost one game all season and you’re in the playoffs. Please shut the fuck up you relentlessly miserable twat.
We were 1-0 down when I posted that, and our attacking play was pathetic. Credit to our manager for changing things to get us the win.

Call me a twat again and I’ll get Carver to pay you a visit.

Conceded a sloppy goal and then Mansfield were clever enough to realise that the referee was too weak to deal with any obvious shithousery.

Having said that, we didn't deserve anything more than a point. We've been found out and I don't think Wild's got any means by which he can change it. We aren't difficult to play against and we are currently as toothless as we were last season. Rochdale feels like a big game for some reason, our good start is disappearing quickly, on current form we are a 13th-15th side (which I would've taken before a ball was kicked).
Not sure about your shithousery accusation but it was a poor game ,but a wins a win

I'm officially past the "omg can't believe mark hughes is our manager babe xxx" bollocks. Another couple of losses and he can go for me. One attempt at target all game at home. Absolute woeful subs and tactics. Performances need to pick up or should be shown the door.

the amount of faking injury etc and the timewasting was off the scale - but the ref was that weak you got away with it. Talking of the ref - he totally bottled sending off Clarke in the 2nd half - he realised he'd already booked him for gobbing off in the 1st half and let him get away with an arm to the face of Harrison Neal. Clough hooked Clarke straight away after that.

You’d won five of your previous six and were so confident you’d win today. It seems quite a bipolar way of thinking after one poor performance.

Pretty open and fairly enjoyable first half against Crewe, both sides making chances and neither would have been lucky to have scored more than the 1 each. Second half came and both managers must have decided they didn’t want to lose as pretty much nothing else happened.

Correct me if I’m wrong because I’m just going off our game and ITV highlights show but your early success seemed to come from being ridiculously clinical in front of goal and I’m guessing that has now dried up?

No surprise really that the likes of Kay, Whitfield, Waters and Gordon have reverted to type. They are decent players at this level but the kind of form they showed in August and early September wasn’t in line with anything they’d done in their careers at this level.

Not really, we aren't creating anywhere near the same amount of chances as we were in earlier games. Should have hammered Doncaster by at least 5 for instance.

There was a battalion of police at Pools today, mostly stood around doing fuck all, money for old rope.
Vast majority stood right by where the seats have been damaged as well but too busy standing around with their thumbs up their arse videoing the home fans instead. Standard

Can't remember one of our corners in the second half where one of your players didn't need 'treatment' afterwards.

Seats broken in the away end yet again, scumbags
Saw one being chucked when we equalised. Don’t know why the knuckledraggers feel the need to do it. Just celebrate the fucking goal, jump around etc, don’t smash things.

Don’t think we will play against anyone as bad as Rochdale this season, sadly neither will they. Looks like the end of the road for Rowbwerry. That’s 10 defeats in last 11 home league games

I can’t believe we gave them their only win gift-wrapped like we did.

Betsy will be gone now. No idea who they will find who’s going to put up with all the weird stuff the ownership do mind.
Apart from the bad signings and terrible tactics Betsy is doing OK. *
