Stroll on: the only League 2 game postponed International weekend is Barrow v Morecambe.
I don't any of us would have banked on that result.

Stockport at home. Likely another draw.

Another big test for us, 2nd V 1st, Jodi Jones missing on international duty, won't be too disappointed with a point.

Crewe vs Forest Geen. The hone team tends to win these games, we've never won at Forest Green and likewise they haven't won at our place. We're playing well at the moment so I'm expecting to get something out of the game, perhaps a draw after falling behind yet again.

FGR 2-2 Crewe (Deeney, Stevens, Long, Powell) 2,360 (280 Crewe)

As mentioned above, an annoying early blow is we’ll be missing Jodi Jones for this game (and Mansfield at home in Oct) due to international duty and don’t really have a natural replacement - assume Chicksen will come in but he’s not nearly the same attacking threat.

Another big test though, very worried about MK Dons’ pace up front

We've put ourselves in a position where even a defeat at Stadium MK would still class as a very good start to the season. Although we have a relegation battle and noticeable drop in attendances to come :dk::lac:

Missing JJ for those two big games against top opposition is a real blow, he's started the season unsurprisingly impressively.

Will be very interesting at Stadium MK. We have a terrible record against MK in general.

Won 1, drawn 2, lost 9

McClean and Mendy both on international duty so we're without a decent left back. You'd hope that won't matter though.

We've been poor at home but are improving, plus have some better members of our squad coming back and the new signings available. Draw does sound about right then, but we really do need to start winning at home. We've also gone thirty three games now, I think it is, without scoring more than one!

I can’t make the game in october, feel free to get in called off for international reasons.

Apparently we’ve the only unbeaten record in the EFL in all competitions (though mainly drawing them!) so that’s obviously going to come to an end at accrington next week where we’ve a terrible record.

We were down to the youth players on the bench yesterday so a run of games where there’s only 1 a week is most welcome. We started clarke and swan yesterday when they clearly weren’t fit so hopefully an extra week will see an improvement for both of them too.

Tough game but it’s so nice to be going into them knowing we’ll be turning up to attack and win. Suspect there’ll be goals, missing Jones is a blow but I don’t think slightly balancing the team to be a bit more solid with Chicksen for an away game like this is the worst thing in the world really.

Should be a 2,000+ following as well by the looks of it. Life is good.

Ali Al Hamadi on international duty, who despite not scoring yet still looks one of our more dangerous players with his pace.
Joe Lewis and Connor Evans ineligible against their parent club, and with Currie, Biler, Reeves and Little likely to still be missing through injury, the squad will be a little thin.
I'm expecting Stockport will come good at any time, so would be satisfied with a point and delighted if we could squeek a win here.

I’m very confident we will lose at Accy, unfortunately I’m going for the first time and I’m in the open terrace so I expect to be throughly depressed Saturday afternoon.

I’m still undecided whether to risk driving to Bradford on only a couple of hours sleep or not for this one, only about an hour and half drive I think so doable if I sling a load of redbull down my gullet first but I keep swaying back and forth between yes and no.
Looked at trains but for me and my lad the cheapest is 77 quid return so that can get to fuck so it’s either drive or don’t go.

Preparing my neck brace for the visit of Sutton.

We were, somewhat surprisingly, toothless yesterday after conjuring numerous chances/shots/goals in previous games. Austin is well off the pace but seems undroppable for some reason. We’ve not played a real hoofball team yet so it’ll be fascinating to see how we cope. Should piss it, though!

Forest Green - 1 win at home in 2023

Crewe - 1 win away in 2023

I'm backing Bell and want him to succeed desperately but this is the reason why I'm not as fanatical about him as others are. Our performances at home have been excellent on the whole and we play like a promotion contender, which is significant improvement compared to how bad we were before this 11 match unbeaten run started. But away under Bell, we've been awful since he took over. And that's not entirely his fault. 5 away wins in 48 away league matches dating back to the start of 2021-22 is unacceptable and Bell has only been in charge for around a third of those. But 2 wins away during his entire reign is cause for concern.

Until we learn how to play football away from home, we won't be making the impact on this league that our players are clearly quite capable of making. In a way, it'll feel like a bit of a wasted season if we were to have Top 3/7 home form yet bottom 2 away form.

I don't want us starting at 5 at the back here. FGR away is a winnable game and I'd like us to really attack them. But we'll do 5 at the back and play cagey and if we do that we won't win.

Bore draw on the cards I feel.

Cook and Pattison out so we won't be scoring and fully expecting Eisa to carry on his good start with a goal or two.

Wait, we’ve got to play again? Thanks for ruining my Sunday.

My prediction for next week is that we’ll be 1-0 up on 70 minutes but will still lose.

Bit gutted to be missing our first win at Swindon to make it consecutive wins against them. Never mind.

Donny didn’t look like a bottom of the league side to me. Could be a tough game.
