Is the day the mighty BWFC get the points to secure the departure from this god awful league, it's been emotional, and good bye.

You’ve only appeared on here at the beginning of the season to wave your cock about how you would be up by Easter, then disappeared until your lot finally got going and have managed to get in the top 3. At least masi didn’t hide whilst you were shit.

Congrats to the decent Bolton fans.

Next season this League 2 forum will be quiet.
With possibly both Bolton and Grimsby moving on and also possibly Tranmere, there will hardly be any active scribes left.
Silence awaits.

Aren’t most of the Bolton “posters” the same person though in reality? All the teams coming down have people who post on here I believe and the clubs coming up too. May well be busier.

Plus Cheltenham and Cambridge...we will lose a few more. Mind you I am pretty sure we will get plenty from Swindon and the Gas...plus whoever else joins us.

Neither Stevanage nor Crawley can go up or down. Time for a few debuts? I hope so.

Nichols suspended (so precious little chance of us scoring). I did notice Grego-Cox doing some sprint work but it may be too soon for him. I have no idea what happened to Ricardo German. At the start of the season he was a regular on the subs bench but since our covid outbreak he has not been seen. Sam Ashford loaned to Woking (scored some goals) which means we have two forwards to choose from. Rodri was at Hastings at Xmas and needs some help to step up so I can't see him starting. That leaves Nadesan to try and do it alone.

Stevenage? - Crawley 0

The Cheltenham & Cambridge scribes are like church mice compared to those who are moving on.

I'm quietly confident we will get a win. But it isn't certain and I'd rather wait for confirmation before celebrating.

It's certainly possible someone wins both/ all 3 games to make us need the win. Equally possibly no one closes the gap as it stands and we're already up.

Lets hope not. Though we may only be playing for pride by then.

Im not celebrating anything until the maths say it's over, We lost at Grimsby deservedly so, anything can happen, likewise until the math's say differently i still hope we can win the league.

What needs to be realised is this season weirdly Bolton have had two seperate teams, the first half of the season we gifted all of you a real start, mainly by fielding a team of last minute misfits and sticking with a kid in goal that was not ready for first team football.

The real team turned up in February on the 5th we were 19th IF we get promoted then it is one of the greatest turn arounds in football history. and i've seen all the Bolton teams since the 60's .

Tranmere fans really should not be gloating you have more Bolton connections than we have lol.

I think we will be fresher as Exeter play midweek. But I think we will be nervous and Exeter will probably be in a must win situation. It’s amazing how many teams can put a performance in when their backs are against the wall.

I fancy a draw but I would take a 1-0 scrappy horrible win. If we do win we may see a few of the back up players in the final game like Darcy, maybe Politic at a push from the bench and the gk from Burnley.

At Christmas I wanted the season to end. Now I’m really enjoying it I wish it wouldn’t end...

How do you think this current team would fare in league 1? I have to say the last 4/5 months have been the most enjoyable for me in years. I love our owners (have you seen the video of Sharon and her sons leaning out of the window celebrating with fans after Morecambe game?). I love how the board are trying to reconnect with the fans after the Anderson era. I’m actually excited again for the first time in years.

Maybe as an appearance off the bench, but would probably prefer the ones that earned it to get to enjoy it really. Potentially some won't be starting/ at the club next season.

I think we need a bit of a freshen up if promoted, one of the podcasts mentioned our 1 goal wins. It isn't sustainable in a better league. We have created the chances, but competition for Doyle minimum, plus a couple of wingers/ midfielders that chip in with more goals is probably required. Not sure Baptiste and Gilks will be starters either.

To be fair the way we played against you that day I think we’d have beaten anybody in this league playing like that, just unfortunate for you that it happened to be against you.
The very next game for us it was back to lots of effort with very little quality.

Hi Stevo I have always thought a club needs to be pulling in the same direction from top to bottom to have success, Wanderers fans partially prejudged FV "not got a pot to piss in" rings a bell, the reality is they are good football people who believe in inclusion of the fans and the community

. They have sourced a manager who believes in the same ethos, If we go up, then we have momentum the fans are now behind both FV (love Sharon and the videos from saturday) I too am excited, paid for a season ticket knowing we couldnt go to a match, and will do so agai.

, Division one i think we have a core of a squad but no more than that at this stage, Santos, Lee, MJ , Baptise and Doyle. But for me it's crucial we get a number one Keeper for long term, another striker and i think we need to add some of the successful loans, Dapo and John would be huge add Thomasson, Darcy and Politic and you have the basis of a squad. I fully expect this board and this manager to continue on an upward curve, with the right choices again by IE im hoping to see us pushing for play offs. One things for sure we need to improve, we would struggle to keep so many clean sheets and could not afford to miss so many chances in league 1
