I do, support my hometown club wherever they may be, as that's what it's about.
You do realise of course you celebrating "gaining promotion at the first attempt" is about on a par with celebrating entering and winning the egg and spoon at your kid's sports day for a club your size, but whoop it up mate.

Quite easily the current table shows that Cheltenham are top of the league and have earned the right to be taken seriously, football is played on the pitch and a table shows who are performing and deserving credit. Hopefully your taking the piss.

Sorry to interrupt in a private conversation but winning Premiership title during Kenny Dalglish era put Blackburn up one step about most of their local Lancashire/Greater Manchester rivals.

It is same as with Newcastle/Sunderland. Everybody thinks Newcastle are THE big side from the North East but Sunderland have won more Division 1 titles [now Premiership].
Sunderland 6 titles, Newcastle 4 titles, Blackburn 3 titles.

Only if you consider the FA Cup to still be the competittion it once was, Up to the FA Semi Final it is treated with contempt, A giant killing these days is when a team from a lower division beat a higher teams reserves. Yes Wigans win was fantastic for them, but is winning 6 games mainly against understrength teams the equivalent of 12 years in the Premiership, 4 top 8 finishes, 2 European campaigns, Being the only english side to beat Athletico Madrid in Madrid (think that was equalled this year) and drawing away at Bayern Munich. The answer your struggling to agree with is Nope.
