1# Roman Reigns bt. Rusev Via DQ
(King Barrett and Alberto Del Rio get involved to cause the DQ, post-match, they continue their beatdown until Dean Ambrose makes the save. Ambrose takes down Rusev before going after Del Rio and Barrett but they move, forcing Ambrose to fall on to Reigns instead, Barrett grabbed Ambrose as Del Rio hit the Intercontinental Champion with a superkick. Rusev locks in the accolade shortly after but Reigns comes in with a steel chair as the league of nations regrouped up the ramp. After the commercial, we learn that tonight's main event will be Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose vs. Rusev & Alberto Del Rio.)

BACKSTAGE - Renee Young is with Dean Ambrose asking if what we saw moments ago is a preview of their match at Fast Lane. Dean says it was an accident. He gets a little too revved up, a little out of control…but that was an accident. Trust me, when I come after Roman he'll know it. Renee asks if that will happen when they tag together later tonight. Dean says they have an understanding: there are times when we hit each other, and there are times when we hit other people. I got my wires crossed earlier, but later tonight we're going to hit other people…and those are the good times!

2# Kalisto bt. Kevin Owens in a non-title match
(Dolph Ziggler is on commentary for the match, during the match, Owens sets up Kaliso for a powerbomb on to Ziggler, Ziggler backs up and Owens drops him down with a superkick. He threw Kalisto back in to the ring but got distracted with Dolph trying to get in to the ring which led to Kalisto rolling Owens up to get the 3. Post-match, Owens attacked Kalisto before leaving the ring before Ziggler can get to him.)

3# Ryback bt. Erick Rowan
(Post-match, Strowman went to attack Ryback after "the big guy" threw Rowan in to Strowman who was on the apron, however Ryback left the ring and stared down the Wyatt Family.)

BACKSTAGE - Renee Young is with Becky Lynch. We go back to Monday night, where we see Sasha Banks being beat up by Team BAD before Becky helps Banks out. Renee asks Becky why she'd help a woman who's after the same prize as her, to which Becky responds saying we're far from friends but…Sasha Banks interrupts, deciding to turn this interview into an episode of Table for Three. Unlike Sasha, Becky is willing to help someone out. This begins an argument between the two about whether or not Sasha. They agree to disagree, deciding to help each other out to deal with Team BAD before each woman goes for the Divas Title. A lot of confusion left as we go to ringside

4# AJ Styles bt. The Miz Via Submission
(Chris Jericho is on commentary for the match, post-match, Jericho grabs a mic at ringside, giving AJ props as he gets in the ring. AJ is proving himself to the world, but we know how good he is. You wouldn't have won three matches in three nights if you weren't good, and you wouldn't have beat me. We know you're good, but are you great? Do you have what it takes to be WWE Champion? To reach legendary status, and be worthy of your own WWE Network special? Do you have what it takes to beat me twice? I've been lying awake at night about it, and I have a proposal: why don't we have a rematch next week on Smackdown? You think you're great? Prove it! Are you in? Jericho extends a hand, and AJ reluctantly shakes hands with Jericho. They stare each other down as AJ tells Jericho "I'm phenomenal, and you're gonna find out again!" Jericho leaves the ring as AJ stares him down)

5# The New Day bt. Social Outcasts in a six man tag team match
6# Charlotte bt. Alicia Fox Via Submission in a non-title match

We go back to earlier today, where we see R-Truth dealing with an issue at his hotel when Goldust approaches from behind to talk to him about being tag team partners. Truth refuses, but Goldust offers to help with his bag. They fight over the issue, and the bag rips open revealing all of Truth's clothing. Truth gathers his clothing and leaves, but Goldust still has a pair of his underwear which Truth grabs and walks off again.

A video package for Daniel Bryan opens the show which shows some of his WWE career highlights before showing a tweet that was posted earlier today that he was retiring effective immediately and he will be on the show tonight to explain his decision.

Monday Night Raw opens with Stephanie McMahon already in the ring with a conference table and the black carpet, she spoke of being moments away from the contract signing for the main event of Fast Lane where the winner of the triple threat match will face Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania. Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar all make their way to the ring, Ambrose talked some trash to Lesnar before signing, Reigns and Lesnar followed suit before Heyman instigates a potential beatdown from Lesnar before Ambrose bumped chests with Lesnar only to be thrown over the table before Lesnar slammed the table on top of Reigns. Triple H then made his way out but Heyman stopped Lesnar from approaching him as all 3 men look on to the stage.

Tonight on Raw we will see Daniel Bryan after he stated that will be retiring effective immediately, so throughout the night we see career highlights from Bryan and the first was his debut in 2010 on the first episode of NXT when he faced Chris Jericho.

1# Dolph Ziggler bt. Kevin Owens

We go back to Night of Champions 2010 where Daniel Bryan defeated The Miz to become the WWE United States Champion.

BACKSTAGE - The Usos are interrupted by the Dudley Boyz, the conversation is of The New Day as Bubba suggested they team up tonight to take on the New Day in a tables match, The Usos agree.

2# Charlotte (w/ Ric Flair) bt. Alicia Fox Via Submission in a non-title match

The Miz is in the ring for another edition of MIZ TV, Miz spoke of Miz TV last week when his guest was AJ Styles but tonight's guest, Chris Jericho soon interrupted and then spoke of how the WWE Universe doesn't want to see MIZ TV, instead they want to see a Highlight Reel as he gets the road crew to change the set to the highlight reel. Jericho then spoke to Miz about AJ Styles knocking his teeth out of his mouth this past week on Smackdown, after Jericho and the crowd mocks him, Miz showed footage of AJ Styles defeating Jericho a couple weeks ago on Raw. Jericho spoke of how it is eating him alive and referred to them facing off this week on Smackdown, AJ Styles comes out and Miz attacks Jericho from behind sending him face first in to the turnbuckle before Styles ran to the ring and working together with Jericho to take down Miz. Moments later, Jericho and Styles were face-to-face as they exchanged right hands, Miz pulled Jericho out of the ring but Miz was sent flying over the commentary table before Jericho stood on it and stares at Styles before jumping off.

We go back to 2011 where Daniel Bryan won the Money In The Bank contract, then we go to December of that year when he cashed it in to beat the Big Show to become the World Heavyweight Champion.

3# Bray Wyatt (w/ The Wyatt Family) bt. Ryback
(Post-match, Bray Wyatt made the comment of "his heart still beats", before the Wyatt Family assault Ryback.)

BACKSTAGE - Dean Ambrose is seen pacing when Roman Reigns walks up. Ambrose says he doesn’t care if he gets ten F5s. He’s getting a piece of Lesnar tonight. Reigns says he wants them to go get him right now. Ambrose says he doesn’t need Reigns’ help. Tonight, Lesnar belongs to him. Reigns agrees and tells him to give him hell before asking him to save him some.

4# Adam Rose (w/ The Social Outcasts) bt. Titus O'Neil
(Titus was distracted by Slater after altercation earlier with the social outcasts which led to Rose rolling him up to get the 3.)

We go back to Summerslam 2013 when Daniel Bryan defeated John Cena to become the WWE Champion.

Dean Ambrose comes to the ring and instantly provokes Lesnar by referring to what he gave him couldn't have been an F5, as the lunatic fringe claimed the F5 was supposed to hurt. Ambrose then goaded Lesnar out and alongside Paul Heyman makes his way to ringside, Ambrose quickly jumps him before Lesnar began his assault, Ambrose takes a beating but refuses to give up before Ambrose got hit with an F5, as Lesnar was leaving, Ambrose motioned for Lesnar to bring some more. Moments later, Roman Reigns came out and stared at the beast before Ambrose hit him with a low blow.

5# Alberto Del Rio & Rusev (w/ King Barrett) bt. Lucha Dragons
(Barrett distracted Kalisto which led to Del Rio kicking him in the head before putting him in the tree of woe and hitting a double stomp for the win.)

We go back to March 2014 when Daniel Bryan's "occupy Raw" movement forced Triple H to agree to face him at Wrestlemania and the winner being put in the main event.

6# Tamina (w/ Naomi) bt. Becky Lynch
(Sasha Banks was on commentary for the match; Naomi punched away at Banks before sending her in to the steps, Lynch attacked Naomi as a result and gave her an exploder suplex on the floor before getting hit with a superkick from Tamina to get the win.)

BACKSTAGE - The New Day are seen talking to someone and it is revealed as Mark Henry, who will be teaming with them next.

This Thursday on Smackdown we will see AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho.

7# The Dudley Boyz & The Usos bt. The New Day & Mark Henry in an 8-man tag team tables match
(Post-match, Dudley Boyz attacked the Usos from behind before giving Jimmy a 3D through a table before powerbombing Jey off the second rope through a table. Bubba said they are the baddest team on the planet.)

We see a highlight package of Daniel Bryan's brief but spectacular WWE career with comments from his contemporaries.

Lillian Garcia introduces Daniel Bryan to the ring, with a fantastic ovation from the crowd in Seattle. Bryan soaks up the atmosphere and begins to address the elephant in the room, the fact that he trimmed his beard before plugging an organisation called "Wigs for Kids". Bryan then began to talk about the amount of concussions he had received in his career and spoke of how his MRI and neuro-psychological evaluations said he was fine, but a week and a half ago he took a test which said maybe his brain isn't as OK as he thought it was and mentioned he has a family to think about and starting to have kids soon.

Bryan officially announces his retirement, and goes through a number of things he loves - the seahawks, the crowd reacting to his music, flying through the ropes as it makes him feel like superman, wrestled in parking lots but also in front of 70,000+ in New Orleans, meeting amazing people like Kane, William Regal and Connor. Bryan speaks about how grateful he is with the crowd, and how they hijacked Raw two years ago when they were combining the WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship and all they could chant was "Daniel Bryan", finally Bryan leads the crowd in to one last "YES" chant as he circles the ring and then his wife Brie came to the ring.

After the show on the WWE Network, the locker room came out to congratulate and applaud him.

BACKSTAGE - Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady rhyme about coming after Dash & Dawson's titles and they will repeat as tag team of the year for 2016. Jason Jordan & Chad Gable come along to try rap the drake song but fail, both teams banter a little before speaking of their tag team matches next week.

5# Bayley bt. Carmella to retain the NXT Women's Championship
(Post-match, Bayley holds Carmella's hand high but as they were leaving, Eva Marie & Nia Jax attack Carmella in the aisle and as Bayley was trying to defend, she gets taken down also. Both stop though when they see Asuka, then they retreat before Asuka touches the Women's title which suggests she wants a shot.)

BACKSTAGE - Samoa Joe spoke of Sami Zayn and their match next week and finished by saying he will be the next NXT Champion.

Chris Jericho opens the show and welcomes everyone to "Thursday Night Jericho", Jericho spoke of his rematch with AJ Styles right here, right now. Jericho continued to speak of how Styles isn't phenomenal compared to him and referred to a ladder match he had here in Portland back in 2008 with Shawn Michaels. AJ Styles makes his way to the ring before the Social Outcasts comes to the stage and spoke of how Styles may be the Phenomenal one, but they are the phenomenal four...well three tonight as Bo Dallas is still in the studio. After a few words between Social Outcasts and Jericho, a brawl breaks out before Jericho saying he will fight Styles tonight, but right now they are going to fight the Social Outcasts.

(Post-match, Jericho hits a codebreaker on Styles.)

Next week on Smackdown, Brock Lesnar will make an appearance.

The Dudley Boyz make their way to the ring with a table in the ring and around ringside, they speak about how they made a statement this past Monday on Raw by putting the Usos through the table. They mention how they are sick of a lot of things, including people seeing them as a nostalgia act, they said they are the baddest tag team on the planet and The Usos were reminded of this. Bubba spoke of the tables and said it is the last time that we will see the tables again as they got the stagehands to help them get rid of them, they said that it wasn't the tables that made them 9-time WWE Tag Team Champions, and before they left they did the schtick one last time of "D-Von, get the...." before dropping the mic and leaving the ring.

2# Sasha Banks bt. Naomi (w/ Tamina) Via Submission
(Becky Lynch is on commentary for the match; during the match, Becky got in to a fight with Tamina but this ended up with Banks hitting Tamina with a kick.)

The Wyatt Family make their way to the ring and spoke of an ancient greek mythology of the war of the titans which was a battle between the old guard and the new for control of the universe. In the end, the Titans were conquered by Zeus, king of the gods. Right here, right now, their mythology becomes our reality. For I am now the king of the gods, and this (pointing to his Family) is my army! You have seen what we did to Kane, what we did to the Big Show, and what we did to Ryback. We have our sights set on ridding the entire WWE of all of its Titans, because we are overdue for each and every one of you to worship a new generation of gods! Words followed from the other members of the wyatt family before Bray Wyatt said that the war against "your gods" has only just begun.

Dean Ambrose opens Monday Night Raw with just 6 days before WWE Fast Lane, Ambrose spoke of how he is in for the fight of his life on Sunday but mentions how tonight is Monday Night Raw and calls out "the big gorilla" Brock Lesnar. Instead of the beast, Stephanie McMahon came out and spoke of Ambrose's lack of performance last week and had to rely on Roman Reigns to get a cheap shot in from behind, Ambrose told Stephanie that he would rather get to fighting as he knows how this goes. Stephanie then announces that tonight F5 stands for Fatal 5 Way as Dean Ambrose will defend the Intercontinental Championship and if Roman Reigns interferes, then Ambrose will be disqualified from the triple threat match this sunday, Stephanie announces that the title match is up right now.

1# Kevin Owens bt. Tyler Breeze, Stardust, Dolph Ziggler & Dean Ambrose in a Fatal-5-Way to become the New WWE Intercontinental Champion

BACKSTAGE - Renee Young catches up with Ambrose who says he is angry, frustrated and not at all surprised by The Authority. Ambrose promises to win this sunday and he will face Triple H at Wrestlemania with "nothing to lose". The new Intercontinental Champion walks up and wants recognition from Young, Ziggler soon walked up clapping congratulating him and spoke of beating Owens a few weeks ago and why he deserves a title shot this Sunday, Owens brushed off the challenge with a "Nah".

2# Big E (w/ The New Day) bt. Mark Henry

Byron Saxton spoke with Brie Bella who spoke of how last week was hard for Daniel but he was able to turn a bad situation in to a positive, Charlotte soon interrupts alongside her father. Charlotte spoke of last week and told Brie that she understood if she was to forfeit this Sunday and be at home with her husband, and claimed that no one needs her. Brie said that she isn't an "easy beat" and is disgusted at the champion that Charlotte has become, Charlotte gets in Brie’s face and hopes she remembers this moment giving her the opportunity to walk away. Charlotte says Brie will have a goat faced baby with Daniel. Brie tackles Charlotte and gets in repeated kicks to the chest as the fans chant “YES” along with her. Charlotte bails out and is helped up by Ric Flair.

3# AJ Styles bt. The Miz Via Submission
(Chris Jericho was on commentary for the match, post-match, Jericho grabs a mic but is soon cut off by Styles who offers Jericho a third match at Fast Lane this Sunday, Jericho added it sounded a good idea but wasn't sure if he wants to wrestle Styles again before saying he will offer an answer this Thursday night on Smackdown.)

The Dudley Boyz head to the ring and tease taking a table from under the ring but D-Von puts it back, Bubba soon calls out The Usos and then reminds himself of last Monday when they showed footage of them putting The Usos through a table. D-Von referred to the Usos as being like "you people", and said they arent the good old Dudley Boyz who are back after 10-years, and they aren't some farewell tour. Bubba refers to Smackdown when they announced the tables are gone forever, and mentions the tag titles are what they want remembered about them the most and when the chants from the crowd who want tables, they deny giving a damn what the crowd wants before leaving the ring.

4# Summer Rae bt. Paige

Paul Heyman is in the ring with a microphone representing Brock Lesnar and spoke of the triple threat match this sunday at Fast Lane, he then called out Roman Reigns. Heyman spoke of Reigns dreaming of headlining Wrestlemania and winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship but mentioned that Lesnar and Ambrose are in the way of that dream and Reigns can't keep a promise to his daughter and maintain a "brother" in Ambrose. Reigns congratulates and thanks Heyman for saying what he has to say to his face, Reigns again promised to win this Sunday before Heyman leaves the ring. The Dudley Boyz then hit the ring and start to attack Reigns and eventually Ambrose events the numbers and shortly the Dudleyz backed off, moments later, Ambrose attempted to give Reigns the "Dirt Deeds" but Reigns broke free. Ambrose smiled and pointed to the Wrestlemania sign with Reigns smiling back and extending his fist.

Vincent J. McMahon Legacy of Excellence Award will be presented next week. We will find out who will be the recipient of this award next week on RAW.

5# Heath Slater (w/ The Social Outcasts) bt. Zack Ryder
(During the match, Ryder flipped over the top rope on to all 4 members of the social outcasts, moments later it was Bo Dallas who distracted Ryder which led to Slater hitting a heel kick and a jumping DDT to get the 3.)

Earlier tonight, we see R-Truth on a date when Goldust walks up dressed as a waiter. Truth tells him to leave them alone. Goldust offers up a bottle of champagne. Goldust opens up the bottle and sprays it all over Truth’s date.

6# The League of Nations (w/ King Barrett) bt. Lucha Dragons & Neville in a Six man tag team match

BACKSTAGE - Alberto Del Rio challenges Kalisto to a best 2 out of 3 falls for their match this Sunday.

7# Becky Lynch bt. Naomi (w/ Tamina) Via Submission
(Post-match, Tamina and Naomi attacked Beky before Sasha walks out and starts circling the ring before Naomi and Tamina bail.)

Brock Lesnar returns to Smackdown this Thursday night on the USA Network. Also scheduled for Smackdown is Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. The Dudley Boyz.

The Wyatt Family are out for the main event, however before the match, Bray Wyatt said freedom awaits everyone from the future of a dying world. Wyatt said this world is a slave. He talks about people tweeting thoughts and keeping an eye on “followers” to see if they agree on Twitter. Wyatt said his followers will go with him anywhere and all he asks if for you to bow to him. “Bow to me…bow to me,” says Wyatt. He said everyone has to make a choice or he will be forced to make a choice for you – just like he had to make a choice for Kane, Ryback and just like his brother will have to make a choice for the Big Show tonight. Strowman grabs the mic and adds, “Wake up…or run.”

8# Big Show bt. Braun Strowman (w/ The Wyatt Family) Via DQ
(Erick Rowan & Luke Harper interfere in the match to cause the DQ, post-match, Ryback takes out Harper and Rowan but The Wyatt's soon attack both men. Kane soon crawls up from underneath the ring, and alongside the Big Show and Ryback send Wyatts backing out of the arena.)

(Both men had their shoulders on the mat when the referee counted to 3, post-match, William Regal came to ringside and was uncertain on a solution in the latest issue on determining a number 1 contender as the show closes.)

(Kevin Owens was on commentary for the match and ended up distracting Ziggler which allowed Sheamus to hit the brogue kick on him to get the 3.)

(Post-match, Naomi and Tamina attack Sasha until Becky Lynch came to make the save and went after Naomi before hitting Tamina with a forearm. Becky helps Sasha up but Sasha pushes her away.)

BACKSTAGE - Becky Lynch wants to know what happened and they will lose this sunday if they go at each other's throats, they speak about being on the road to Wrestlemania and if they lose to Naomi and Tamina this sunday then they will wave in to Wrestlemania. Both speak of wanting and dreaming about their Wrestlemania moment before both shake hands ahead of this Sunday.

Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring to answer AJ Styles' challenge on Raw for a rematch at Fast Lane, Jericho calls out Styles but instead it is Miz who comes to the stage and says he had an announcement to make. Despite Jericho mocking for Miz to "take two weeks off and quit the business", Miz told Jericho he does not have to worry about AJ Styles as he has a match with the real A lister right now.

3# Chris Jericho bt. The Miz Via Submission
(Post-match, Jericho calls out Styles to answer his challenge, once Styles makes his way out, Jericho tells AJ he respects him but does not necessarily like him and won't do him any favours so he said no for the challenge for Fast Lane. Moments layer, Styles punches Jericho and clotheslines him over the top rope to the floor. Jericho told Styles it was a stupid move and accepted the challenge for Fast Lane but told Styles he will regret it.)

BACKSTAGE - Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns light-heartedly discuss what happened on Raw before Ambrose bumps in to Paul Heyman and Heyman wanted Ambrose and Reigns to know that Lesnar is here tonight and is in a foul mood and is looking for Ambrose. Ambrose mocked being scared before telling Heyman to tell Brock to not make him wait tonight.

BACKSTAGE - JoJo interviews The New Day about their history with Edge & Christian ahead of appearing on the Cutting Edge Peep Show this sunday. They teased showing a preview of what will happen at Fast Lane but decide not to do it, they make remarks about Edge and Christian going out of style before Kofi and Big E dance whilst Woods plays the trombone.

4# Charlotte (w/ Ric Flair) bt. Natalya Via Submission in a non-title match
(Post-match, Charlotte mocks the "Yes" chant before Brie Bella makes he way to the ring and takes down Charlotte before trying to put on the figure-4-leg lock but Flair pulled her out of the ring when she went for the running brie mode knee.)

R Truth is on the phone and he is still apologizing for what happened on Monday night. Goldust is next to Truth. Goldust says he is Dusta Rhymes. He says if Truth doesn’t want to be his tag team partner, he will lay down some truth. Goldust starts to rap.

5# Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns bt. Dudley Boyz Via DQ
(Lesnar attacked Ambrose to cause the DQ, post-match, Reigns went after Lesnar but Lesnar sent him in to the ringside barrier before Ambrose joined in on the attack but it was Lesnar who soon hit both men with a german suplex. Moments later, Reigns hit the superman punch on to Lesnar and went for a spear but Lesnar moved and sent Reigns in to Ambrose, Ambrose then attempted to hit Reigns with the dirty deeds but reigns escaped and hit the samoan drop. The beast the nhit Reigns with an F5 before Triple H made his way to the stage with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on his shoulder and looks on at his potential Wrestlemania opponents.)

We go to Renee Young, Booker T, Corey Graves and Jerry "The King" Lawler are on the the Fast Lane kick-off panel and discuss tonight and go back to the kick-off show when Kalisto defeated Alberto Del Rio in a 2 out of 3 falls match to retain the WWE United States Championship.

Edge & Christian come out to a huge ovation in Cleveland for their Cutting Edge Peep Show, both men speak of their new show on the WWE network which debuts tonight after Fast Lane, but are soon interrupted by their guests, The New Day. There is much comradery between the New Day with insults back and forth between them and Edge & Christian, Kofi questions who is better in the new day and speak of how Sheamus and Rusev ran down the new day backstage earlier. Xavier Woods insulted the League of Nations before they make their way out looking for a fight, Woods told them it's their day of rest as they leave the ring. Moments later, Edge & Christian bail before giving their 5-second pose and said instead they present the "International house of dumbasses", before New Day dances as Christian chants, "watch...our show".

6# Curtis Axel (w/ The Social Outcasts) bt. R-Truth
(Goldust came to ringside as Social Outcasts were causing multiple distractions, Goldust trips up Rose before throwing Slater in to the ring barricade. Goldust tossed Rose in the ring which led to Axel rolling up truth to get the 3. Post-match, Goldust apologises for screwing up with Truth heading to the back upset.)

7# Roman Reigns bt. Dean Ambrose & Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman) in a Triple Threat match to become the #1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania

The show opens with highlights from Dean Ambrose entering the arena and being assaulted by Brock Lesnar.

Vince McMahon opens Monday Night Raw and says tonight will be a night that no one will forget as he will present the first ever Vincent J. McMahon Legacy of Excellence award. Vince spoke of his family who have been presenting sports entertainment for over 100 years and the person receiving this reward is a truly warm, good hearted soul and announces the recipient of the award to be, Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie hugs her father before holding a thick folder of "prepared remarks", before Shane McMahon's music hits as he returns to Monday Night Raw to a thunderous ovation. Shane refused a hug and handshake from his father and told him that this is the straw that broke the camels back and the award is a great idea, but it should be given to a worthy recipient, and that's not Stephanie.

Vince suggested both men talk backstage but Shane dismissed that as it could have been done ages ago and everything is getting done here and now, Stephanie claimed this was her moment and her legacy, Shane said she hasn't earned it but Stephanie spoke of running a billion dollar business over the last 6 or 7 years. Shane ominously asked his father if Stephanie knows something, they go back and forth with Shane claiming stock and ratings are down and stephanie called him a quitter. Stephanie wants to know what's happening, Shane explains that several years ago, their father messed up big time and he saved the day. They cut themselves a deal. In that deal, he was able to take time off and build businesses. Shane says he never lost his place in line. Stephanie says nothing happens in WWE business that she doesn’t know. Shane says the reason she’s climbed so high so far is because he let it happen. Stephanie asks Vince if this is really true. Vince tries to defuse the situation, but eventually lets on that there is some truth in it, Stephanie exited the ring and told Shane she willl never forgive him.

Vince asked Shane what this was all about, he even said he has his checkbook but Shane said it wasn't about money, it's about legacy and how he wants the WWE to be around for generations to come but the way it is going, it isn't going that way. Shane then reveals he wants control of Monday Night Raw, Vince said he will give Shane what he wants but he has to have one match, If he wins his match, he gets his wish. If he doesn't win, then Vince gets the key to the lockbox Shane has so he can’t hold anything over his head ever again. The match will happen with an opponent of Vince’s choosing on a night of his choosing. Shane shakes his father's hands and makes a deal. Vince says he's going to name a place and opponent almost as big as Shane's ego, the place will be Wrestlemania and his opponent will be...The Undertaker. To make sure that he doesn't take his ball and go home, the match will be contested inside Hell in a Cell.

1# The New Day bt. Lucha Dragons & Neville in a six man tag team match

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman make their way to the ring, Heyman welcomes everyone to the "main event" of the evening as any segment involving his client is the main event. Heyman spoke of Fast Lane with Lesnar taking both Ambrose and Reigns to suplex city but blamed Ambrose for making the match a down and dirty street fight and taking Lesnar out of the equation of Wrestlemania which pissed off Lesnar. Heyman spoke of Lesnar getting his revenge when he attacked Ambrose earlier today, and took him out of Wrestlemania. Heyman spoke of the beast needing a new wrestlemania opponent and sent a warning to anyone in the back that they should go to the hospital to see a barely breathing Ambrose. There will be an F5 in everyone's future as Lesnar will run through everyone on the way to Wrestlemania.

We hear a sound of a honking horn as an ambulance pulls in to the arena, crashing in to some dumpster before we see Ambrose driving the ambulance in to the arena in a neck brace, looking beaten down. Ambrose struggled to get to the ring as Lesnar left the ring and stepped on Ambrose's face as he left. Ambrose grabbed a microphone and told Lesnar to kiss his ass and that he is indestructable, then told Lesnar he wanted him at Wrestlemania in a No Holds Barred Street Fight. Lesnar laughed before coming to ringside and hitting Ambrose with an F5 on the floor before Heyman told him that his client accepted his challenge.

Before the next match, The Dudley Boyz make their way out and Bubba Ray Dudley welcomed The Usos back to Raw and reminded the WWE Universe what they did to the Usos a few weeks back, they claimed they needed to remind everyone they are the most decorated tag team in the history of the WWE and will not be defined by a piece of furniture. They spoke of never seeing tables again before D-Von called The Usos father a "one trick pony" and should of taught his boys respect instead of buying thongs.

2# The Usos bt. The Ascension
(Post-match, the Dudley Boyz began making their way to the ring but stop at the foot of the ramp as Usos had some choice words for them.)

Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring and welcomes everyone to "Raw is Jericho". Jericho spoke about hearing about AJ Styles before coming to the WWE and then he showed up at the Royal Rumble and off the bat he didn't like him because he didn't understand how you could be phenomenal despite not having a match in the WWE, he then spoke of the last 3 matches he has had with him including the one last night which is one of the best he has had in a while and it was phenomenal. Jericho then called Styles to the ring and spoke of their match last night and the pressure being on Styles, he also told Styles he doesn't like him but he respects him and congratulates him on proving that he belongs in the WWE. Both men shake hands before being interrupted by the Social Outcasts, they mock Jericho and Styles before saying no one is buying Y2AJ and they are not a team. Jericho admits that they weren't planning on being a team, but maybe they should. They are officially a team now, and they will start with these "four stooges in Detroit Rock City".

3# Chris Jericho & AJ Styles bt. Curtis Axel & Heath Slater (w/ Adam Rose & Bo Dallas) Via Submission

BACKSTAGE - After Triple H told Stephanie McMahon to let it go after Shane McMahon ruined her award ceremony earlier. Triple H commented how her brother has always been a failure and said tonight will still be great for them and asks her if she wanted to tell Roman Reigns or should be, Stephanie volunteers. Stephanie informed Reigns that he has a match tonight against Sheamus.

BACKSTAGE - R-Truth is backstage when Goldust walks up to him. Goldust has a cake that says, “I’m sorry” on it. Goldust again makes a case for them to be a tag team, but R-Truth declines. Goldust says he can predict his every move, which is why they’d be great together. R-Truth says Goldust probably thinks he’ll put the cake in his face, but he’s better than that. R-Truth walks off, but then returns and smashes it in Goldust’s face.

4# The Wyatt Family (w/ Braun Strowman) bt. Kane, Ryback & Big Show in a six man tag team match

BACKSTAGE - Rich Brennan catches up with Ryback backstage. Ryback says he’s done being in tag teams. The spotlight should be on him. As far as Big Show and Kane, he has no issues with them. He’s just got to look out for him. As for the glass ceiling and brass ring, he’s going to break it and take it.

5# Sasha Banks bt. Naomi (w/ Tamina) Via Submission
(Tamina gets involved in the match so Becky Lynch runs down and takes out Tamina with Banks hitting the Bank Statement to get the win. Post-match, Charlotte comes out along with Ric Flair and announces both Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch will have the honour to face her at Wrestlemania for the Divas Championship.)

It is announced that The Godfather will be inducted in to the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame.

This Thursday night on Smackdown, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H will address Roman Reigns.

6# Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus ends in a No Contest
(Triple H makes his way to the ring in jeans and a leather jacket, he begins to brawl with Roman Reigns. Reigns sends him into the barricade, but Triple H comes back with a clothesline on the floor. Triple H throws him into the ring, and Reigns sends him to the floor with a Superman Punch. Reigns then clotheslines him into the timekeeper’s area. Triple H then nails him in the throat with the ring bell, before slamming him off the table a bunch of times. Reigns is gushing blood from his nose, Triple H takes the top of the steel steps off and pulls Reigns over. Reigns is covered in blood and his nose is still gushing. Triple H then gives him a Pedigree on the steps. Triple H mocks the Superman Punch set up before telling him to suck it.)

The COO and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H opens the show and speaks of the retribution against Roman Reigns on Raw when Triple H bloodied Reigns before hitting the pedigree on the steel steps. Triple H shows a picture of Reigns after his surgery and referred to him as having the look of a man "who knows his place" but you can't beat authority, the COO continues to speak how it takes more than blood, sweat and tears to be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and as he has already got the blood and sweat, he will get the last one at Wrestlemania where he will be humbled in front of the largest crowd in history, and there is nothing he can do about it because he he is the law, the authority, the king of kings, the game, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and because he is that damn good.

1# The League of Nations bt. Neville, Dolph Ziggler & Lucha Dragons in an 8-man tag team match

BACKSTAGE - Renee Young is with Kevin Owens who spoke of his big announcement that after being inspired by Ambrose on Raw who took the beating from Lesnar and commandeered an ambulance to confront him again, he will give Ambrose a rematch tonight. Renee told Owens he had a night off, Owens said then he must have the night off too before the Big Show who told him that Owens hasn't beaten him yet. Owens responded by saying this is the road to KO-Mania, and what he is looking for is the road to retirement, Show retaliated by grabbing Owens by the shirt and told him the road to retirement can make one pit stop as he has a match with Owens tonight.

The Dudley Boyz make their way to the ring, but before the match they grab a mic and tease the crowd about them wanting tables only to remind them they aren't a circus or nostalgia act, they are the 9-time WWE Tag Team Champions and claimed they were better than all of the crowd in Indianapolis. They spoke of continuing to do whatever they have to do to make sure they are the greatest tag team before telling everyone to take their tables and their chants and shove it.

2# D-Von Dudley (w/ Bubba Ray Dudley) bt. Jimmy Uso (w/ Jey Uso)
(Bubba Ray pulled out a table but it was just as a distraction as Bubba dropped the top rope so Jimmy fell hard which led to D-Von rolling him up to get the 3.)

BACKSTAGE - Chris Jericho and AJ Styles are talking about what they could achieve by staying on the same page, Styles spoke of his Wrestlemania moment and mentions it could be them becoming the WWE Tag Team Champions. They speak of needing a partner tonight as they take on all 3 members of the new day, Mark Henry soon offers to be their partner and they shake hands.

The WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H opens Monday Night Raw, the COO speaks of what happened to Reigns last monday on Raw and spoke of everyone having an authority figure in their life they have to listen to but everyone wants to challenge it but they know their place, he spoke of Reigns challenging it and now he at home breathing through his mouth and hoping that his dream of going to WrestleMania still exists. Reigns should know his place. You do not challenge authority. That should be a lesson to everyone that hears his voice.

Dean Ambrose made his way to the ring and spoke of what happened last week, and asked Triple H who he didn't want to win at Fast Lane, Triple H told him it was irrelevant as the only people that meant anything in it were Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar, Ambrose said he is the last guy that Triple H wanted to face at Wrestlemania, the COO replied by calling him crazy. Ambrose said Triple H is smart enough to know he never wants to be in the ring with a guy like him and Triple H told Ambrose he doesn't think he could beat him, Ambrose then challenged Triple H for a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match. The game said he will take it under advisement and see if it's best for business and give him an answer for the end of the night, Triple H says Ambrose was going to get the night off because of Brock Lesnar’s assault last week, but now he’ll have him fight since he ran his mouth. Triple H ran into the League of Nations before coming out. Ambrose will face Alberto Del Rio with all of his friends out here. We’ll see if Ambrose can learn to respect authority. Triple H then walks off.

1# Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks to determine the #1 contender for the WWE Divas Championship ends in a draw
(Featuring Charlotte and Ric Flair watching the match at ringside, both Lynch and Banks pinned each other so the match ended in a draw.)

Bray Wyatt’s video flashes on the screen. We see The Wyatt Family somewhere backstage. Wyatt says the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Now that he thinks about it, maybe he is insane. Wyatt laughs and then considers that his mind is the key to saving the entire world. It starts as an idea. The idea turns into a plan, which turns into a beautiful symphony. Wyatt knows what he must do. Wyatt tells the people to join him and receive eternal paradise. If they deny him, they’ll wind up like the rest of them: conquered. Run!

2# The Miz bt. Dolph Ziggler

Stephanie McMahon makes her way to the ring and spoke of how her "insolent" brother interrupted her receiving the Vincent J. McMahon legacy of excellence award last week, she said she was going to finish her acceptance speech before the crowd in Nashville get under the skin of her and bemoans the disrespect they are giving her. Stephanie has some strong words for her brother before stating that the Undertaker will dismember Shane at Wrestlemania, Stephanie further spoke of her understanding to why Shane gets cheered, she says that Shane is a reflection of all of them. The crowd is nothing but narcissistic, apathetic, weak-minded wastes of life. They’re all entitled. Sooner or later, reality comes around and slaps them right in the face. They may not agree with the decisions she and Triple H have made, but there is no denying their work ethic and legacy of excellence. Sooner or later, they’ll bow down to The Authority. They’ll bow down to the king AND the queen! Stephanie holds up the trophy and walks off.

3# Rusev & Sheamus (w/ Alberto Del Rio & King Barrett) bt. Lucha Dragons
(Sin Cara took out Barrett with a suicide dive before Sheamus hit a brogue kick on the floor, Kalisto took out Sheamus but Del Rio distracted him which led to a superkick from Rusev to get the 3. Post-match, Del Rio attacked Kalisto and hit the double stomp to the chest.)

(Post-match, Styles spoke of this victory putting Y2AJ at the top of the list for the WWE Tag Team title, Jericho spoke of Y2AJ being the new big thing in the WWE and said they want to challenge the new day for the titles next week on Raw.)

Lillian Garcia introduces the WWE Chairman to the ring, Vince tried to get the crowd to imagine the night after Wrestlemania and he is introducing his son and he would be running monday night Raw which would mean his daughter and son-in-law would quit the business immediately. He spoke of Shane putting him on the corporate sideline with mothballs. Vince spoke of it being hypothetical as it will never happen and only fools believe in miracles, he said he loves his son enough to put him in the ring against the most cold-hearted destructive force in the history of the WWE.

He went on to say how he will recognize he lost the match and his inheritance. He’ll write Shane out of his will and give it all to Stephanie. With everything that’s gone down through all the years, it pains him to say this, but from the heart he will renounce Shane McMahon as his son. Shane McMahon will no longer be his son from his heart. He’ll just be a son of a bitch.

Ambrose spoke of winning the title but how it would be messy as all advertising for Wrestlemania has already been printed, he spoke further how he wants Lesnar, or even Triple H invokes his rematch clause, and refers to putting all 4 men inside a steel cage. Kevin Owens interrupts and asks Ambrose why he is out here spewing this crap, he also spoke of how Ambrose can earn a title shot against Triple H and lands a match at Wrestlemania yet he stands here as Intercontinental Champion and still isn't booked for Wrestlemania. Owens tells Ambrose that he is everything that is wrong with the WWE before shoving Ambrose and attempts a cheap shot, Ambrose countered and hit Owens over the back with the steel chair. Ambrose then challenged Owens to a match right now but he headed to the back.

Shane McMahon opens Monday Night Raw and spoke of his fathers comments last week before describing him as an "ego-maniacal, miserable old bastard.” Shane says Vince has lost his touch with his business, fan base, reality, himself, and his grandsons. All that does just fuels him and gets him pissed off. Shane says he’ll use all of that because it is his absolute destiny to be in control of Monday Night RAW. The Chairman’s tyrannical grasp on everything will stop, as will The Authority. All of the backstabbing and backstage politics will stop because it is choking the life out of this business. There are so many guys with so much talent that never get a break, and then there are those that get all the breaks and have no talent. That will stop. At WrestleMania, he doesn’t know how, but it is his destiny to defeat The Undertaker. There will be a new legacy and a new chapter in WWE when he walks out the very next night in control of Monday Night RAW.

The Undertaker's bell tolls, the light goes out and it is Vince McMahon who makes his way to the stage and tells Shane he wants to have a father-son chat, after RAW last week, he went to his desk and wrote Shane out of his will. Vince then found a photograph of him and Shane as a kid. They were going to go on their very first trip to his very first wrestling match. Vince has the image shown on the titantron. They went to Worchester, Massachusetts for Shane’s first wrestling event. Vince is holding the frame and drops it. Since Shane is no longer his son, he stomps on the glass and shatters it. Shane grew up knowing his father could never make any mistakes and thought he was invincible. He is Vincent Kennedy McMahon and Shane is just Vince’s son. Speaking of sons, that would take them to Shane’s sons, Vince’s grandsons. They’re going to watch their father fail them at WrestleMania. Shane warns him to be careful. They’ll be so disappointed as they watch their father’s dreams shattered. As they watch Shane get loaded onto an ambulance, Vince will hug them and tell them they have at least one father figure. At Vince’s greatest creation, his greatest failure will be put to rest. Vince calls for security to come out and escort Shane out of the building. Four security guards stop at the top of the stage and then walk down. Shane warns them not to touch him. He’ll walk out peacefully on his own accord. Shane says he’s very amped up. Vince orders them to get him. One guy gets in the ring and begins to go for Shane. Vince screams for the guy to get Shane out of there. Shane then unloads on the guy with some rapid punches. The rest of the security guards get in, but Shane punches them out and throws one out of the ring. Shane invites Vince into the ring but to no avail.

1# Kevin Owens bt. Neville in a non-title match
(Post-match, Owens clotheslines Neville in the back of his head and sends him shoulder first in to the ring post, Owens went to hit an apron powerbomb when Sami Zayn came down and a brawl began between himself and Owens, Zayn quickly takes Owens down and continues to punch away at him. Owens gets out and goes to leave, but Neville kicks him in the head. Zayn then clotheslines Owens out of the ring and celebrates.)

BACKSTAGE - Stephanie McMahon thanks Dolph Ziggler for tweeting earlier this afternoon after he reminded her when he defeated the Authority at the Survivor Series back in 2014. Ziggler tells Stephanie that history will repeat itself with Shane McMahon, she puts him a 3-on-1 handicap match tonight against the League of Nations.

2# Summer Rae bt. Brie Bella
(Lana came to the ring and distracted Brie which led to Summer rolling her up to get the 3. Post-match, Lana got in to the ring and kicked Brie before hitting the Bella Buster.)

Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring, Ambrose says the road to WrestleMania was free and clear. Ambrose was getting off on the Suplex City exit while Triple H planned on taking on Roman Reigns. Then he threatened to screw everything up by winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on March 12. Ambrose says he doesn’t care about what Triple H or Roman Reigns’ plans were. This Saturday, he’s hijacking the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and hijacking WrestleMania. Ambrose continues to speak of how Triple H tried to beat the respect of the authority in to him but said that he will respect him after Roadblock. Triple H soon makes his way to the stage, and he tells Ambrose he will ruin his fun fantasy as the WWE World Heavyweight Championship will stay with him as long as he wants it to. Triple H speaks down to Ambrose by referring to him as a mere pothole and not a roadblock, Ambrose is ready to fight but Triple H decides to delegate the fight to someone else tonight, Bray Wyatt. Triple H finishes by telling Ambrose that whether he learns it tonight or at Road Block, Ambrose will come face-to-face with reality. The reality is The Authority always wins. Triple H then walks off.

Goldust says if they were real partners, R-Truth would know he’s lactose intolerant and his “butt would explode.” Goldust walks off and R-Truth chases after him. Mark Henry grabs the pizza and says, “I love Chicago!”

(Post-match, Jericho takes out Styles with three separate codebreakers. After the commercial, Renee Young caught up with Jericho backstage about what just happened, Jericho said that the fans were all cheering for Styles but he hopes they enjoyed it as they won't be chanting anymore.)

He says that Kalisto should go out on his own as being in a tag team holds him back, he tells Kalisto to watch as he tears the wings off the social butterflies.

Thursday night Smackdown opens with MIZ TV with special guests Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Zayn is out first and explains his history of getting in to the business with Owens and despite Miz wanting to know what happened as they are now enemies, Zayn explained he wasn't sure. Owens came out and explained that Sami is fully aware of what he did in NXT because it was best for his career and wasn't personal. Owens did say that what Sami did at the Royal Rumble and what he did this past monday on Raw is personal and claimed he was the victim. Sami disagrees and says he is here to say before making a claim to beating Owens for the Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania. Owens dismisses his challenge and called Sami delusional before dropping the mic and leaving, Neville came out and told Owens they have some unfinished business before himself making a claim to the the Intercontinental Championship. Miz quickly cut off Neville by claiming he isn't an approved guest and brought up main eventing Wrestlemania and being a 5-time Intercontinental Champion but Sami told him those days are far behind him. Miz attacked Sami but Sami fought back but Miz bailed out of the ring.

BACKSTAGE - we see Goldust in a bathroom stall asking for toilet paper. “Can someone help a brother out, please?” R-Truth walks up asking if Goldust needs a helping hand. Goldust said he doesn’t need a helping hand and needs toilet paper. Truth said Goldust dropped the kids off at the pool and he was here when he was in need. Goldust takes the toilet paper and says his answer is still no.

2# Brie Bella bt. Summer Rae Via Submission
(Post-match, Brie starts a "yes chant" and aims it towards Lana. Lana mocks Brie before Summer tried to get a shot in on Brie but to no avail, Lana then jumped in to the ring and hit her with another facebuster before mocking her by doing her own "yes" chant.)

Chris Jericho comes to the ring and he has hold of a Y2AJ t-shirt and hanging it over a trash can. Jericho spoke of how the WWE Universe has disrespected him since he returned, spoke of how he created the Money in the Bank concept and how he has never been hurt in his WWE career, and then shows disdain as the WWE universe still chants for AJ Styles. Jericho tells the WWE Universe to go to hell and says that Styles can't excel at this level, he mentioned how Styles has only been here for 6 weeks and now he is going to stand here and watch AJ's WWE career burn out and fade away. Jericho pours lighter fluid in to the trash can before putting the Y2AJ shirt in there and settling it alight. He claimed it was Styles and the fans who ruined it and that Y2AJ is officially over and its Styles fault, Jericho ended the segment by saying that AJ's career will now go up in the flames and he is the one who started the fire, before starting a mocking "AJ Styles" chant.

(When the referee was distracted, Rusev knocked Sin Cara off the top rope which led to Barrett hitting the Bull Hammer and getting the 3.)

BACKSTAGE - Ryback is within JoJo and spoke of how two little men can't beat two big men and despite the Lucha Dragons putting up a good fight. He tells them how he feels sorry for them as not all men are created equally.
