The show opens with Mick Foley stood in the ring and he welcomes us to Monday Night Raw. Foley spoke of the first-ever Raw exclusive PPV coming up in two weeks and tonight we will find out whether Kevin Owens will defend the WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins or both Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. Foley spoke of Smackdown Live who had a tremendous event last night and congratulated Becky Lynch on becoming the first ever Smackdown Women's Champion. He said on Raw they offer the premier destination for the best in women's wrestling today before introducing the Raw Women's Champion Charlotte, to the ring.

Charlotte came to the ring alongside Dana Brooke. Charlotte announced that after last week, she believes an apology is in order, from Dana. Charlotte said it was embarrassing to lose to Bayley and it is all Dana's fault. Charlotte told her if she didn't then their friendship and her mentorship are through. Dana apologises to her. Foley was about to talk about the Women's title before Sasha Banks makes her way out and says Charlotte is looking at the face of the Women's division and the one and only boss of the WWE. Sasha also said that Charlotte is looking at the woman who will take back the Women's title in two weeks at Clash of Champions.

Bayley makes her way to the ring and vicariously admitted she deserves a Women's title match after beating Charlotte last week. Sasha told her to get to the back of the line, Charlotte says the only business she and Sasha have is to continue the career ending beating she gave her at Summerslam. Sasha suggests they finish this right now but Charlotte told her she doesn't dictate when she defends the title. Foley agreed with Charlotte but then told her neither did she, he said he is having second thoughts of Sasha getting her rematch at Clash of Champions. Foley then says Charlotte will face the winner of Sasha and Bayley at Clash of Champions. Charlotte blamed Dana before Dana slaps her down. Foley then adds Dana to the match.

1# Sasha Banks bt. Bayley and Dana Brooke in a Triple Threat match to become the #1 contender for the Raw women's Championship

Dana Brooke is walking backstage looking emotional before walking up to Charlotte. Dana apologises, Charlotte tells her to shut up and take her bags.

The Shining Stars are backstage talking about Puerto Rico and investing in a timeshare with R-Truth, they talk about being able to party with celebrities, Epico wants Truth to make payment now but Goldust interrupts the transaction before pulling him away. Enzo and Big Cass approach Epico and Primo, they call them cheating con men after how they won last week. Enzo said they have unfinished business and issues a challenge which Epico accepted.

Tom Phillips is backstage with Kevin Owens, Owens claims Rollins is jealous because Triple H realised that he is better than him and also says that Roman Reigns doesn't deserve to be in the same ring as him. He calls Mick Foley jealous as he was never on the level of his mentor. Owens says in two weeks it won't be a triple threat match because he'll beat Roman Reigns and then walk out of Clash of Champions as the WWE Universal Champion. When Owens walks off, Jericho sneaks up on Phillips and bemoaned Foley pulling Owens from the Highlight Reel tonight leaving him without a guest. Jericho says he will have Owens' ex-best friend Sami Zayn on instead.

2# Bo Dallas bt. Brandon Scott

Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring for another edition of the Highlight Reel, Jericho claims that this was supposed to be the greatest edition of the Highlight Reel in WWE history as it was supposed to be the man at the top of the mountain Kevin Owens. Jericho said instead he went in the opposite direction and his guest is as low as you can go, Sami Zayn.

Zayn sarcastically thanked Jericho for the introduction. Jericho spoke about Zayn supposedly 'blowing' his friendship with Kevin Owens. Jericho talked up how great Owens is but Zayn claimed he could care less about Owens and the only thing he cares about is one day possessing the WWE Universal Championship. Jericho gave the crowd the 'gift of Jericho' which Zayn claimed sucked, and told him one day Owens will show Jericho his true colours as he only cares about himself.

Jericho said Zayn was jealous of Owens, Zayn responded by telling Jericho how he was the inspiration for himself and Owens. Guys like Dean Malenko and Eddie Guerrero inspired them, how they spent their adult life travelling the world to wind up here like Jericho. Jericho is a six-time World Champion and the first ever Undisputed Champion, but now he's been relegated to being Kevin Owens' bitch. Jericho said he got a text from Owens before he came out, Jericho went to show Zayn but instead slaps him down with the phone before hitting the codebreaker.

Before the next match, we see footage of Cesaro defeating Sheamus last Wednesday in London which made the series 3 - 1 to Sheamus.

(Cesaro pulled another one back making the series 3 - 2 to Sheamus.)

Mick Foley is backstage when Seth Rollins came in and questioned why Roman Reigns has an opportunity after thinking Foley was coming around on him by preventing a suspension and giving him a title match. Foley claims that Reigns was just as wronged as Rollins which Rollins disagreed with. Rollins says he is not worried about Reigns as he beats him every title but he wants to get his hands on Owens and the title with no distractions. Rollins then threatened to go to Stephanie instead, Foley says that Stephanie had nothing to do with Triple H's interference which Rollins ridiculed. Rollins threatened to take matters in to his own hands, Foley shouts at Rollins to not question his integrity and to not interfere in tonight's match. Rollins says he won't question his integrity but claims he is a fool if he continues to support Stephanie.

4# Alicia Fox vs. Nia Jax ended in a No Contest
(Nia viciously beats down Alicia on the outside by backing her in the ringpost and slinging her in to the barricade a few times by her hair, she then speared Nia through the barricade. Trained run down to ringside to check on Alicia Fox.)

The New Day make their way to the ring, they mocked Gallows & Andersons' attempt at entertainment last week as they wasted 5:37 of everyone's time. The Raw tag team Champions go through a list of things you can do in that time before Gallows and Anderson make their entrance to the ring. They tell the New Day they are pandering to the crowd and wear unicorn horns and are bemused how they were wasting people's times. Gallows and Anderson vowed to rip the horns of their heads, beat them unconscious and take the Tag Team titles.

5# Gallows & Anderson bt. The New Day (w/ Big E) in a non-title match

Tom Phillips walks up to Roman Reigns backstage and asks him what is going through his mind. Reigns says he is thinking of getting to Clash of Champions and winning the WWE Universal Championship, and the only way he can do that is by kicking KO's ass.

Jinder Mahal makes his way to the ring and spoke about feeling hate and rage from everyone before talking in his native tongue. He says he is going to let it all go as he has trekked the Himalayas and been to the monasteries. He claims to have found inner peace and it is a way of life, he also says it is the gift he wants to share with everyone in the WWE Universe before Jack Swagger interrupted and made his way to the ring for their match.

6# Jinder Mahal bt. Jack Swagger

Jack Swagger is walking backstage and is approached by Tom Phillips, he mentions to Swagger that his Raw contract is expiring soon before Swagger walked off without a word.

7# Epico (w/ Primo) bt. Enzo Amore (w/ Big Cass)
(Primo distracts Enzo before Enzo takes out Epico with a cross-body block to the floor. Enzo gets in the ring and goes for a suplex but Primo grabs Enzo's feel and holds it down as Epico pins Enzo to get the win.)

Kevin Owens is walking backstage when he bumps in to Seth Rollins, Owens reminds him about what Foley said to Rollins earlier. Rollins told Owens he wants him to win to keep the match one-on-one. Rollins wants to tear his golden boy to pieces and take the title back. Owens told Rollins that should want Reigns in the match so he can do all the work and Rollins sneaks in as Rollins has always had someone else doing the work for him. Owens calls Rollins jealous and points out that he has achieved nothing since his return. Rollins lost at Battleground and lost to Finn Balor with one arm, Owens said he won it in his first chance before mocking Rollins' slogan by saying, "Redesign, Rebuild, Reclaim” should be “Redesign, Rebuilt, Replaced.” Mick Foley approached and told Owens to get to the ring and once again warned Rollins not to interfere or else there will be consequences.

8# Kevin Owens bt. Roman Reigns
(Due to pre-match stipulations, the WWE Universal Championship match at Clash of Champions will remain as Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins. During the match, Seth Rollins runs down to the ring and attacks Owens causing the referee to call the bell. Rollins continued the assault until Mick Foley came out and told Rollins they are going to have a talk before restarting the match. When the match was looking towards Reigns winning, Rusev came to the ring and got on the apron before Reigns hit him with a suicide punch. Owens hit Reigns with the pop-up powerbomb to get the 3. Post-match, Rusev hits Reigns with a big kick before applying the accolade.)

The new WWE World Champion AJ Styles makes his way to the ring and is in elation after beating John Cena at Summerslam and Dean Ambrose at Backlash. Styles said he told everyone he would, and claims he is the face that runs the place, and now the champ that runs the camp. John Cena interrupts and made his way to the ring and told Styles that he has something that belongs to him and has decided to take it back. Cena points at the WWE World Championship and spoke how he is one title win away from tying with the 16-time World Champion, Ric Flair.

An enraged Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring and bemoaned Styles kicking him in the jewels this past Sunday, Ambrose claimed he is going to take back his title with interest. Cena brings up Ambrose crotching Styles on the top rope before agreeing with what Stone Cold said on his podcast, that all he has been showing to the WWE is that he has no balls. A fired up Ambrose brushed off Cena's pinions and tells him that he has no patience for him and his speeches, he also added Cena is a lazy part-timer. Ambrose went on to say how Cena can't keep up anymore with the TV shows and movies, he says WWE uses him as a corporate puppet but they know and he knows he can't get it done in the ring anymore. He also questioned how Cena would go through him when he couldn't get through Styles at Summerslam.

Shane McMahon makes his way out, he takes offence to Styles claiming he is the face that runs the place but states that he has earned the right to say that. He mentioned how Ambrose and Styles "tore it down" at Summerslam until Styles took the cheap way out. Shane said he will talk about Ambrose's one-on-one match at a later time before making AJ Styles vs. John Cena vs. Dean Ambrose in a Triple Threat match for the WWE World Championship at No Mercy. Shane also makes a match tonight where John Cena will team up with Dean Ambrose to face AJ Styles and a partner of his choosing, Shane also questions if Styles will be able to find a partner and if he can't, he said Daniel Bryan may have to appoint a partner for him later.

1# The Usos bt. The Hype Bros

We see a Curt Hawkins video package, he says it is time to face the facts.

The Miz and Maryse make their way to the ring, Miz said for weeks he has been accused of being a coward but they can call him whatever they want because he left Backlash with his beautiful wife and is now day 162 as he remains the WWE Intercontinental Champion. He also mentions how he has held the title longer than 132 other former WWE stars and says he has made the title prestigious finally.

Dolph Ziggler interrupts and once again pointed out that it doesn't matter what Miz does, any superstar laughs when he walks in the back and he knows why. Ziggler claims the WWE Universe will always see through him. Miz makes a point how he is the main event if he is on a show and if he lived and dived based on what the WWE Universe thought, then you may as well bury him six feet under, just like Ziggler's career. Ziggler agrees that he is in a slump but Miz will always have an asterix next to his name, but wants to know if Miz wants to earn respect and prove himself right now.

He says no wives, no stunt doubles - no excuses. Maryse interjects and asks whether Ziggler is asking for a title match. Daniel Bryan makes his way out and claims Maryse is the only reason that Miz remains the Intercontinental Champion. Bryan said Ziggler is getting a rematch but Miz disagreed and brought up wanting his contract negotiated. He says Bryan doesn't get what he wants until he gets what he wants. Miz says he is calling his own shots before bailing from the ring once Miz bails from the ring and leaves through the crowd.

AJ Styles is backstage and is searching for a partner for tonight when he bumps in to Baron Corbin, Corbin told Styles he would rather be his opponent.

It was set to be Baron Corbin vs. Apollo Crews but Corbin attacks Crews right away and tosses him off the top turnbuckle. Corbin tosses Crews in to the ring barricade and hits the end of days on Crews on the outside. Jack Swagger made his way to the ring as Corbin bails, he says that Smackdown Live is his new home as of 12:01 today. He mentions how he is a former Heavyweight Champion and has a hot wife. Swagger said that you don't know Jack and wants the fans to forget everything they think they may already know. He says he will be a big problem for anyone on Smackdown live, before correcting himself by saying we will be a big problem on Smackdown Live. He leads a "we the people" chant.

Before the upcoming Fatal 5-Way match, Charly Caruso interviews Becky Lynch about winning the Smackdown Women's Championship at Backlash. Becky says it is fitting that Becky Balboa is showing off her championship in Philadelphia, mentions being the last one standing from this Sunday before seeming ready for all comers before taking a seat at ringside.

2# Alexa Bliss bt. Nikki Bella, Carmella, Naomi and Natalya in a Fatal 5-Way to become the #1 contender for the Smackdown Women's Championship

AJ Styles is still walking backstage looking for a partner, he comes across Kane and asks him to be his partner, Kane laughs and walks away.

Shane McMahon is in the ring and spoke about Heath Slater seizing the opportunity by becoming the new Smackdown Tag Team Champions, he introduces Slater to the ring who makes his way down with Rhyno. Shane says he is a man of his word and gives Slater his official Smackdown Live contract to sign. An elated Slater thanks Shane and Bryan before thanking his wife and talks about moving into a double-wide. Slater thanks Rhyno and declared they would be willing to take on anyone at any time.

The Ascension interrupt and want to take Slater up on the offer, Slater attempts to back out of it but Shane thought it was a good idea and suggested they have the match right now.

3# Rhyno & Heath Slater bt. The Ascension to retain the Smackdown Tag Team Championship

AJ Styles is backstage and comes across Daniel Bryan who asks the WWE World Champion if he has found a partner yet. Styles claimed he doesn't need a partner. Bryan told Styles they have appointed a partner for him, James Ellsworth. Styles looks disgusted when he extends his hand.

Randy Orton made his way to the ring and addressed Bray Wyatt by saying he is truly the face of fear because he's afraid of him. He said Wyatt attacked him because he's afraid. Bray Wyatt interrupts on the titantron, he said a wise man knows when to give up. Wyatt said he gave Orton a gift of the way out. Wyatt said Orton tried to embarrass him before telling Randy Do...not..Sleep. Wyatt disappears off the tron before appearing against the announce table, Orton told Wyatt to get inside his ring right now. The lights go dark and when they come back on, Erick Rowan is in the ring and starts attacking Orton before Orton hit back with an RKO out of nowhere.

Before the match, James Ellsworth began to make his way to the ring before Miz attacked him from behind and hitting a Skull Crushing Finale on the ramp. Miz tossed him off the stage and yelled he is the main event.

(This match had a 30-minute time limit. Post-match, William Regal presented Metalik with a medal before Charly Caruso interviewing Metalik.)

Charly Caruso is backstage and interviews Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa about their match tonight against Noam Dar and Cedric Alexander. Gargano and Ciampa say their injuries have healed and the Revival should pay attention to the match because they are coming after them and the NXT Tag Team Championship.

2# T.J. Perkins (Phillipines) bt. Kota Ibushi (Japan) Via Submission in a Semi-Final match
(This match has a 30-minute time limit. Post-match, William Regal presents Perkins with a finalist medal before Charly Caruso interviews him about the win.)

Charly Caruso is backstage and interviews Noam Dar and Cedric Alexander about their match tonight, they said that tonight they will show why they are two of the best around.

Daniel Bryan and Mauro Ranallo speak to NXT GM William Regal about his involvement in putting together the Cruiserweight Classic, they then speak to Corey Graves about the Cruiserweight Division coming to Raw.

Before the final match, Triple H makes his way to the ring and said that we started with 32 and now two of the best in the world. He says we are looking for the one who will be the winner of the first Cruiserweight Classic and more importantly than that, we are looking for the one that will go to Raw on Monday Night as the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion. Triple H shows off the new title belt before shaking both mens hands and leaving the ring.

4# T.J. Perkins (Phillipines) bt. Gran Metalik (Mexico) Via Submission in the Final match of the Cruiserweight Classic and to become the New WWE Cruiserweight Champion
(This match had a 60-minute time limit. Post-match, Triple H and William Regal come to the ring to present Perkins with the Cruiserweight title belt and the trophy. Charly Caruso interviews Perkins about his win, Perkins says the win is for all the fans as confetti falls from the ceiling to end the show.)

Roman Reigns opens Monday Night Raw and is seething, he is quickly interrupted by Stephanie McMahon and told Reigns she has been discussing this issue with Mick Foley all week long. Mick Foley makes his way to the ring and claimed that the show got away from him whilst Stephanie was in Singapore last week but he has come up with a solution that was his own doing. Foley thinks he didn't make himself clear that he didn't want outside interference dictating the conclusion of the main event so tonight he will take the two perpetrators, Seth Rollins and Rusev, and put them against each other in a match. Reigns questioned what that does for him, Foley told Reigns to wait 6 days as he will get his hands on Rusev this Sunday at Clash of Champions for the WWE United States Championship. Stephanie personally guaranteed that this would happen followed by a sarcastic response from Roman.

Foley backed up Stephanie by telling Roman he has no reason not to believe her as she has always been upfront about her dislike of Reigns. Foley says it offends him that WWE Superstars are not taking him at his word, he brings up about the superstars deciding their own matches and stands up for Reigns despite the WWE Universe's mixed opinion on the former WWE World Champion. Foley said he is part of the RAW family and they're engaged in a fight for survival against Smackdown Live and if it doesn't go well then he will be on his couch and disappear, unlike Stephanie who willland on her feet. Foley says that in the end, all he has is his word therefore he's signing Roman Reigns to face Kevin Owens again tonight.

Kevin Owens comes to the stage and bemoaned the decision as he claimed he already beat Reigns last week and should be preparing to defend the WWE Universal Championship this Sunday. Owens rubs it in to Reigns that he is in the main event of Clash of Champions. When Owens asked Stephanie about her opinion, she reluctantly backed up Foley but stated it will not be for the WWE Universal Championship. Foley agrees with the Raw Commissioner but did say it will be a steel cage match.

After the commercial, Stephanie McMahon is backstage with Mick Foley and questions his decision to make this a cage match. An enraged Rusev told Foley he's ruined his wife's special night as her movie is debuting tomorrow. Rusev says Foley is jealous of the Rusev family because the "Holy Foley" family hates each other. Foley told him it doesn't change the fact he has a match this sunday before Foley answered a call from Jericho.

1# Seth Rollins vs. Rusev (w/ Lana) in a non-title match ended in a Double count-out
(Both men fought up the ramp and got counted out. Post-match, Rusev punches him to the top of the stage and then attempts to powerbomb him through the announce table but Rollins gets out and knees him in to the back to knock him off the platform to the floor. Rollins then gives Rusev a cross-body block to the floor.)

Mick Foley is backstage with Charlotte and Dana Brooke, Charlotte claims there is no number 1 contender as it emerged that both Bayley and Sasha Banks had their shoulders down in their match last week. Dana suggested that the tag match tonight be cancelled and Sasha and Bayley fight again to determine the number 1 contender. Foley told Dana she gave him a great idea and made Charlotte vs. Bayley vs. Sasha Banks in a triple threat match this sunday for the RAW Women's Championship. Charlotte shoves Dana down in disgust.

We see a video package of Cedric Alexander and Brian Kendrick as the Cruiserweight Division debuts tonight.

Chris Jericho is talking backstage with Kevin Owens, they both bemoan Kevin Owens competing in a steel cage match tonight. Jericho grabs a clipboard and says he is going to make a list of everything that's wrong with Foley as a General Manager and when he shows it to Foley, he is not going to like...IT.

Sasha Banks is backstage and stretching for her match, Bayley approaches and spoke of how she is excited to be in the ring with her on Sunday like old times. Sasha said that that was then and this is now, she says she had Bayley beat last week but one of them will become Raw Women's Champion . They turn their attentions to their tag match next.

3# Charlotte & Dana Brooke bt. Bayley & Sasha Banks

Seth Rollins goes in to Stephanie McMahon's office, Rollins questioned why she threw it all away for Kevin Owens. Stephanie once again explained to him she did not know what Triple H was going to do. Rollins is still trying to get the truth, Stephanie told him that maybe Kvin Owens is right, Rollins is the reason the WWE World Championship went to Smackdown Live, and he lost to Finn Balor at Summerslam. Maybe her husband, who handpicked him, was tired of him ruining his reputation...maybe. Rollins claimed that her husband will maybe figure it out at Clash of Champions when Owens is flat on his back. Rollins continue to speak how they put their money on the wrong horse and Stephanie can't control or manipulate him. Stephanie warns Rollins to not threaten her, she says she didn't know what her husband was going to do, but right now wishes she did. She then said Owens is the right person to hold the title and to lead RAW against Smackdown Live, she also says Owens has replaced Rollins as the man. Rollins left by claiming she has started to crack since the return of her brother Shane before leaving.

(Before the match, Dallas says, “The tide has turned and I slowly learned that all our bridges need to burn. As lovers come and go and friends turn to foe, I’ve come to know that only I can Bo-lieve in Bo!” )

5# Cesaro bt. Sheamus in Match 6 in a best of 7 Series
(The series is now tied at 3-3.)

Chris Jericho goes in to Mick Foley's office and says he has been doing a terrible job as General Manager. Jericho has a list but Foley claimed he can't hear him and insults Jericho's scarf before leaving. Jericho said if Foley won't listen to the list of Jericho, he'll read it in the ring.

Chris Jericho is in the ring and spoke again how Foley has been doing a terrible job as GM over the last two months and says he has been screwing him, his best friend Kevin Owens and the show. Jericho spoke of "the list of Jericho" and continues to criticise Foley before Enzo and Big Cass interrupt.

Enzo and Big Cass go through their usual schtick and Enzo once again insults Jericho's scarf, Big Cass spoke him and Enzo being best friends and reeled off a list of well known personalities. The Shining Stars interrupt and said that they look so stressed and try to sell the Shining Star resort and Hotel. The New Day are next to interrupt, they claim they have bothing better to do, Xavier spoke of how he is giving away two free iPhone 7's on his Youtube show, they can call people when they beat Gallows and Anderson at Clash of Champions.

Gallows and Anderson made their way to the ring and says they will beat New Day this Sunday, and spoke how they beat them last week. Jericho said he is going to make a list of stupid idiots and they're all on it. Sami Zayn runs down and attacks Jericho before sending him in to the barricade twice. He throws Jericho in the ring and a huge brawl erupts.

Foley introduces the four Cruiserweights who will compete tonight - Rich Swann, Gran Metalik, Cedric Alexander and Brian Kendrick. Once all four men came to the ring, Foley announced that the WWE Cruiserweight Championship will be defended this Sunday at Clash of Champions. Therefore this match will be a fatal 4-way to determine the #1 contender.

8# Roman Reigns bt. Kevin Owens in a non-title Steel Cage match
(Post-match, Rusev tries to attack Reigns with a steel chain but Reigns avoids it and punches Rusev around ringside. Reigns stomps him down before Owens kicks the door in to the face of Reigns. Rusev puts Reigns in the ring before chaining the door shut, Owens and Rusev continue the assault with Rusev applying the accolade. Seth Rollins then came to the ring and took out both Owens and Rusev by hitting a cross-body block from the top of the cage.)

Smackdown Live opens with Daniel Bryan inside the ring and talks about the Smackdown Women's Championship being defended for the first time at No Mercy. Bryan announces we will have the first ever Smackdown Live women's contract signing tonight and plans to keep things civil, to the dismay of the WWE Universe. Daniel brings down both Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss.

Both women go back and forth with insults with Alexa telling Becky that she doesn't fit the role as Champion, whilst Becky referred to Alexa as preparing for a pageant whilst she prepares for a fight. Alexa told Becky how she will lose the title before Becky spoke of where she came from and what she had to go through to be the women's champion, and says she will rip Alexa's head off if she plans to take the title away from her. Bliss responded by mocking Becky and called her a one hit wonder. Bliss grabbed the contract and hit Becky with it before signing, she then tosses the table on top of her before leaving. Becky goes after Alexa but she makes a feline for it to the back, Becky returns to the ring to sign the contract.

We see Daniel Bryan walking backstage when The Miz and Maryse walk up to him, Miz says we have a problem, eluding to his WWE Intercontinental Championship defence tonight. Bryan offers to cancel the match to the elation of the Miz, however, Bryan reminds Miz that his new contract will be cancelled if he does not defend tonight.

1# The Usos bt. American Alpha to become the #1 contenders for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship

Backstage, Heath Slater and Rhyno are talking about facing the Usos at No Mercy, they spoke how they beat them before and they will beat them again. The Usos soon approached and told them how they got lucky at Backlash, Jimmy suggested that they hand them the titles right now before Jey got in the face of Slater as Rhyno got in to the face of Jey as the Usos back away.

2# Baron Corbin bt. Apollo Crews
(Jack Swagger was on commentary for the match. Post-match, Corbin got in to the face of Swagger at ringside and yelled at him that he should of stayed on RAW.)

We see another video package of Curt Hawkins.

Nikki Bella and Naomi are backstage and are asked about facing Carmella and Natalya tonight. Naomi says it is glow time and how Natalya no longer has respect among the women. Nikki called Carmella bootleg after he attempt at making a name for herself, Nikki finished by saying she feels rebooted.

Renee Young is with Dolph Ziggler backstage and spoke with him about his last shot at the Intercontinental Championship tonight. Ziggler mentioned how he hasn't been winning lately and mentions he wants to prove he still belongs here, he wants to shut Miz up once and for all and win the whole damn thing tonight.

3# The Miz (w/ Maryse) bt. Dolph Ziggler to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship
(During the match, Maryse walks up the stairs with the hairspray in her hands which is noticed by the referee who sends her to the back. Later in the match, the referee got distracted with clearing the title out of the ring which was brought in moments earlier, Miz took advantage by spraying hairspray in the face of Ziggler before hitting the Skull Crushing Finale and getting the win.)

4# Randy Orton bt. Erick Rowan
(Post-match, the lights go out and when it comes out we see Rowan's mask inside the ring before Bray Wyatt appeared on screen mocking Orton. He tells the Viper that he is still just a man and a man who can die at any moment. He once again referred to himself as a God and said how a God can never die before adding "run".)

5# Nikki Bella & Naomi bt. Carmella & Natalya Via DQ
(Carmella throws Nikki in to the ring barricade and begins to stomp away at her to cause the DQ. Post-match, Naomi catches Natalya with the big boot as Carmella is continuing her attack on Nikki when Naomi chased her off.)

AJ Styles is backstage and is asked about the rivalry with John Cena and Dean Ambrose. Styles said that he doesn't have a rivalry with either and claimed he is superior in every way. He said how the triple threat was booked because he didn't have to be beat to lose the title and says he plans to sit back and relax watching Cena and Ambrose beating each other up tonight.

6# Dean Ambrose bt. John Cena
(Post-match, AJ Styles appears out of nowhere and springboards off the barricade and took out Cena. Styles then gets inside the ring and hits Ambrose with the Pele kick. Daniel Bryan made his way out and spoke how Shane McMahon promised Dean Ambrose a WWE World Championship rematch last week. Bryan revealed that next Tuesday on Smackdown Live, it will be AJ Styles vs. Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Championship. Ambrose then got back in the ring and connected with Dirty Deeds on Styles before standing over a fallen AJ Styles to yell at him that he will see him next week.)

(Post-match, Perkins is interviewed and was asked how the last month has been for him. Kendrick comes up to him and shakes his hand before giving him a hug, Kendrick then headbutts Perkins down.)

Tom Phillips is backstage with Cesaro and spoke how he came back from a 3-0 deficit in a best of 7 series. Cesaro says he will prove he is the more physical dominant one and ear a championship opportunity before awarding the Cesaro section with the biggest comeback in history.

3# Sheamus vs. Cesaro in Match 7 of the Best of 7 Series ended in a No Contest
(Both men take their fight to the outside of the ring, Cesaro sent Sheamus in to the ringpost and over the barricade after Cesaro took some damage earlier. Trainers made their way out and upon discussion the referee called for the bell.)

Smackdown Live presents WWE No Mercy on PPV on Sunday 9th October 2016.

Bayley is backstage before Charlotte walks in and tells Bayley she is not going to win, despite Bayley claiming how she earned the opportunity. Bayley brushes off Charlotte's attempt at intimidation after she beat her two weeks ago and claimed she will it again.

A video for Roberto Clemente airs to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon walk in to Kevin Owens backstage and tell him that he is proud of him. Owens sarcastically tells Foley it means a lot after saying he put obstacles in his way. Owens claimed he is going to show them why Triple H picked him over Seth Rollins and show why he should have been the #1 draft pick. Owens says he will show the world he is the main event and Rollins is no longer "the man", and instead is "the mistake". Owens walks off before Foley commented how he loves the chip on his shoulder.

5# Charlotte bt. Bayley and Sasha Banks in a Triple Threat match to retain the RAW Women's Championship

Seth Rollins is walking backstage before Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley walk up to him and wish him luck. Rollins dismisses this from Stephanie and says everything that comes out of her mouth is a "bold faced lie". He said she will have to find a new golden boy after tonight, she once again pleaded her innocence on the situation as he told her she bet on the wrong guy and can also tell her husband he bet against the wrong guy.

(Chris Jericho came to the ring during the match, he attempted to get in to the ring multiple times during the match. Rollins accidentally takes down the referee in the match, Jericho gets involved after both men hit each other with their finishing manoeuvres. Rollins sends Jericho out of the ring and then hit a suicide dive on Owens. Stephanie McMahon sent another referee down, Owens hit the Pop-Up Powerbomb and got the 3.)

1# Roman Reigns vs. Rusev ended in a Double count-out in a WWE United States Championship match
(Reigns hits the drive by dropkick on Rusev before bouncing him off the steps and punched him over the barricade. They fought through the crowd to cause the count-out, they go back and forth before making their way back to ringside. Rusev sent Reigns in to the barricade a number of times but Reigns fought back and sent Rusev flying in to them. Reigns went for a superman punch off the steel steps but Rusev hit him in the ribs with a steel chair before hitting Reigns on the back with the chair. Moments later, Reigns speared Rusev moments later and returned the favour by hitting Rusev with the steel chair.)

Mick Foley made his way to the ring and spoke of how the match finished last night between Cesaro and Sheamus in their best of 7 series, which ended in a draw. Foley invited both men to the ring, Sheamus quickly cut everyone off by reminding Foley that he said the most physically dominant would get a championship opportunity and he doesn't want a "wishy washy" response. Both Cesaro and Sheamus argued about who was most physically dominant. Foley told them both he would be granting them both championship opportunities but these are not separate opportunities, they will be contending for the WWE Tag Team Championship. Cesaro and Sheamus argue the decision, Foley told them they don't have to like it but if they decide to do it, they will be facing the winners of the following match.

2# The New Day (w/ Xavier Woods) bt. Gallows & Anderson to retain the RAW Tag Team Championship

Cesaro and Sheamus are arguing backstage when Mick Foley came up and told them both that they are two of the best superstars that he has ever seen and doesn't want to put them out there for an 8th match as he can't risk losing one of them. Foley offers to put them in a match tonight if they're willing to do it and to show the WWE Universe what he's known all long: they're two of the best.

3# Bayley bt. Anna Fields
(Post-match, Tom Phillips congratulates Bayley and asks her about coming up short last night at Clash of Champions. He said that it isn't the last time Charlotte and Sasha Banks will see her, and she is just getting started on her journey and she won't stop until she is hugging the women's championship.)

Stephanie McMahon is in her office when Mick Foley approached her and told her he looks like a fool because he believed in her, referring to footage of Stephanie getting in a limo with her husband after last night's event. Stephanie claimed that her husband picked her up as he didn't see the show as he was in the air, but claimed it was Foley's job to protect the integrity of the main event. Stephanie tells him to act like a general manager, she tells him to protect Seth Rollins as if he believes Kevin Owens' conspiracy theory, Rollins will. She reminds Foley who he works for before Foley apologies and leaves.

T.J. Perkins is backstage with Tom Phillips, Perkins says it is a dream come true and a dream he has had since 1998, to compete on Monday Night Raw as the WWE Cruiserweight Champion. Brian Kendrick comes in and claimed the title was resurrected for him, Kendrick also claimed Perkins owes him the title and his career. Perkins made reference to the head-butt after their match last night as Kendrick told him that the next time they meet in the ring, Perkins will have woken up from his dream.

Charlotte made her way to the ring alongside Dana Brooke. Charlotte spoke of successfully defending her RAW Women's title last night and once again proved why she is the queen of the women's division. She says it is the difference between her and Bayley and Sasha, she doesn't just talk the talk - she walks the walk. She spoke about how the WWE Universe expects her to lose the title but she disappoints the crowd and everyone at home, and says soon everyone will learn that she is the money maker and the face of the division.

Sasha Banks comes down the ring and told Charlotte it is still her title, and mentions how she is still owed a one-on-one rematch and she wants it now. Charlotte agrees but says it will be next week. Charlotte told Sasha she will stay down next week, Sasha promises that she will show the world that she is the face of the women's division when she takes back the women's championship. Sasha then slaps Charlottw down before applying the bank statement on Dana. Charlotte breaks it up but Sasha soon kicks her out of the ring and sent Dana with her.

Seth Rollins is walking with a purpose backstage when he is stopped by Mick Foley, Rollins told him that nothing will stop him from going out on the highlight rel tonight. Foley said it isn't the time or place as he is not medically cleared. Rollins spoke how he saw Stephanie get in the limo with Triple H last night, and he is not going to listen to Owens brag about what happened to him. Foley was about to speak but Rollins cuts him off and tells him all he hears are Stephanie's words coming out of his mouth.

Next week on Raw, T.J. Perkins will defend the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Brian Kendrick.

6# T.J. Perkins bt. Tony Nese Via Submission in a non-title match

Pedro Morales is honoured by the WWE for Hispanic Heritage month.

Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring for the most "anticipated" highlight reel in WWE history. Jericho first addresses Danny Masterson and Ashton Kutcher who posted on twitter saying they will be on RAW next week. He mentions how Masteron and Kutcher insinuated they are better friends than him and Owens which Jericho says, is impossible". He warns them that if they do show up in Los Angeles next week, he will put them on the "list of Jericho".

Jericho begins to put people on the list from the cameraman to Seth Rollins before bringing out Kevin Owens to the ring. Owens spoke about he showed what a champion should be last night and explained how he hurt Rollins last night but not to feel sorry for him as he has injured many WWE superstars.

Seth Rollins made his way out before security stood in his way before Foley tried to reason with him, Rollins eventually headed to the back but Enzo and Big Cass' music hit. Jericho put them on the list for interrupting them. Jericho continues his attempt to verbally berate Enzo and Big Cass before Cass told them that he passed Mick Foley backstage and they have a match with them right here in Cincinnati.

Randy Orton kicks off Smackdown Live and talks about why Bray Wyatt likes to talk about fear, it is because Bray himself is afraid and says he is who Wyatt is afraid of, he then challenges Bray to the ring to "face his fears". Wyatt appears on the screen and has a story for Orton about Hansel and Gretel, He said that the breadcrumbs left behind won't lead Orton home, but to the world Wyatt created, Wyatt then continued to once again refer to himself as a God and how he makes the rules. Wyatt then told answered Orton's challenge, by telling him if he wants to hurt Bray, come on but hurry as the sands of time, they wait for no mortal man. Bray begins to sing "he's got the whole world in his hands" before laughing.

Dean Ambrose is backstage and is asked about tonight's WWE World Championship match, Ambrose says he has a lot of things going on in his mind from Styles bragging about beating Cena at Summerslam, and notes how he beat Cena last week.

1# The Usos & The Ascension bt. Heath Slater, Rhyno & American Alpha Via Submission in an 8-man tag team match

We see John Cena walk about backstage and says he will be at ringside during tonight's main event, he says it doesn't matter who walks in No Mercy as champion as he will walk out the new 16-time champion.

We see Miz holding a poster of himself holding the WWE Championship over a Lebron James poster.

Randy Orton is backstage in a dark area of the arena and find something made of sticks in the shape of an arrow pointing to a part of the backstage area. When the camera pans back, the arrow is pointing in another direction and we see a masked Erick Rowan. After the commercial, we go back to Randy Orton backstage with Wyatt's voice telling him that he was never any good at directions.

2# Carmella & Natalya bt. Nikki Bella & Naomi

We see Randy Orton backstage in a darkened part of the arena and he sees a door that says "I am God", and another door that says "Predator or Prey". Orton opens the door that says "I am God", and behind it is a cardboard cutout of Orton with his eyes cut out. Orton opens the other door and we can see Rowan waiting for him inside but Orton shuts the door and leaves.

The Miz and Maryse head to the ring for 'The Miz's Homecoming celebration'. When they get in the ring, pyro goes off before Maryse introduces a video package of Miz. Miz makes many Cleveland references and also how he is celebrating his world tour as the reigning Intercontinental Champion and Maryse informed him that his parents were in the front row, Maryse also pointed out Ziggler's parents are here as well and he said it must be hard for them because they created a loser.

Dolph Ziggler made his way to the ring and warned that Miz can't talk to his parents like that. Miz brought up beating Ziggler again and again and again, Ziggler reminded Miz how he cheated in those matches but Miz said the record books will show all of his title reigns, his hot wife and hollywood career. Miz questioned what Ziggler's record will show, and pointed out how Ziggler continued to lose and asks when he plans to give up on his mediocre career, and how Ziggler is the warm act and how his career makes him "absolutely sick". Miz tells Ziggler his parents and city should be ashamed of him, he also expects Ziggler to ask for one more match and the answer is no unless Ziggler plans to give up on his career, he has nothing to say to him.

The Intercontinental Champion leaves the ring, Ziggler agrees with what Miz has been saying and says that sometimes things you love don't always love you back. Ziggler tells Miz that if he puts up his title one last time, he will put up his career, he says he either walks out as champion or he is done but either way he will be out of his misery. Miz agrees to the match in 2 weeks at No Mercy and tells Ziggler if he isn't willing to hang up his career, he will do it for him.

Bray Wyatt is still addressing Orton backstage and told him the door is wide open and told Orton to be careful and started laughing.

Becky Lynch was making her way to the ring for a match when Alexa Bliss attacked her from behind, Bliss then threw the face of Lynch off the entrance ramp before grabbing the Smackdown women's Championship and claimed she deserves it.

We see a new Curt Hawkins video play and he has a big announcement next week.

We go backstage where Bray Wyatt tells Orton that that he is disappointed, says the viper has no fangs or poison. He questions where Randy is as we see Randy standing behind Wyatt wearing a mask. Orton removes the mask as Bray starts laughing, Orton attacks Wyatt before Wyatt runs away. Orton puts the mask back on and begins to sing.

AJ Styles is backstage and talks about his WWE World Championship defence next, he proclaims all eyes and ears will be on him as he will retain tonight.

3# AJ Styles bt. Dean Ambrose to retain the WWE World Championship
(John Cena was on commentary for this match. During the match, Styles gets a cheap shot in on Cena before Cena gets on the ring apron, the referee is distracted when Ambrose had a roll up. Ambrose then got a cheap shot in on Cena, before Styles rolls Ambrose up and gets the win. Post-match, Cena gets in the ring and gets in the face of Ambrose as Styles bails. Ambrose went for dirty deeds but Cena countered and hit the AA. Styles goes back in and attempts a Styles clash but Cena hits another AA before grabbing the WWE World Championship and raising it above his head.)

Lana quickly interrupts and says she is here to negotiate a rematch for her husband for the United States Championship. Reigns says it is less of a challenge and more of Rusev hiding behind her skirt. They bring up family to which Lana tells him he has no respect for family after he ruined their wedding celebration. Lana continued by telling Reigns that Rusev will crush and humiliate him in front of his country and his family. Reigns replies by telling her to go to the back and give her husband his bulgarian balls and have him say it to his face. She warns him before telling him to go to hell.

Rusev storms the ring, he and Reigns them embroil in a brawl at ringside which ends up going up the ramp with Reigns flooring Rusev with the Superman punch. Reigns stood over Rusev and told him that if he wants him to go to hell, then he will take them both with him as Rusev will get his rematch, but it'll be inside Hell in a Cell.

1# Brian Kendrick bt. T.J. Perkins Via Submission in a non-title match

We see a pre-taped interview with Michael Cole interviewing Seth Rollins. Cole asks about Rollins' rib injury, Rollins said that the doctors have cleared him and advised rest, but that's not his thing. They discuss the issue with Kevin Owens and how it has escalated, and Rollins spoke of how he deserves a rematch for the WWE Universal Championship after what happened at Clash of Champions. Rollins spoke once more of how Owens was handed the title by Triple H and refers to how Owens is just a cog in the machine. Rollins finished the interview by saying that if there is another rematch, he will cancel the "Kevin Owens Show", and will prove he is still the man.

Before the next match, Byron Saxton interviewed Chase Silver who will be facing Braun Strowman tonight. Silver said he has come from Idaho to LA, where dreams come true and last night he had a dream that he's beat Strowman up.

2# Braun Strowman bt. Chase Silver
(Post-match, Byron Saxton interviews Strowman about what is next for Strowman after his continued dominance. Strowman said he has the gift of destruction and his talent is being wasted on these weak fools. He says if Foley doesn't get him some real competition next week, there won't be a next week.)

Sasha Banks is warming up backstage where she is approached by Bayley, she spoke of how Sasha and Charlotte will be the main event of tonight's show. Bayley wishes her luck and Sasha says that she will dethrone her tonight.

WWE Royal Rumble 2017 will take place at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX.

Kevin Owens makes his way to the ring along with Chris Jericho. Owens responds to the interview between Michael Cole and Seth Rollins from earlier, Owens spoke how Rollins has not done anything to deserve a rematch. Owens then turns his attention to why Chris Jericho is standing with him in the ring, and brings up how he should be the referee if himself and Rollins has a rematch as it was the referee's fault for not being there at Clash of Champions.

Chris Jericho then said that he has been doing some thinking after they beat Enzo and Big Cass last week, that they should challenge the New Day. They spoke how they should challenge them to a non-title match (as Cesaro and Sheamus has a match lined up) and then face them for the RAW Tag Team Championships, and Owens will make history for being the first in history to hold the Universal and Tag Team titles. Owens seems quite cold on the idea but was quickly interrupted by The New Day.

The New Day make a comment how they are the best friends in the WWE to which Jericho questioned this. They then do a "champion huddle" to discuss the challenge made by Jericho. Jericho put Big E on the list for not including him in the huddle, and then adds Woods on for laughing. After much tomfoolery, New Day agreed to the match.

3# Sami Zayn bt. Titus O'Neil

Sheamus and Cesaro are fighting backstage about being late to the show. Mick Foley came along and ordered both men to get on the same page.

4# Anderson & Gallows bt. The Golden Truth
(Post-match, Goldust was checking on Truth but was attacked by Anderson and Gallows, he was hit with the big boot and then the Magic Killer.)

Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho are walking backstage when they bump in to Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson. They argue about which pair are the better friends before Kutcher and Masterson took the list of Jericho from him and started to read embarrassing things off it like Jericho losing to Fandango at Wrestlemania. Kutcher told both men they will be at ringside during the match, to which Jericho warned them to not get involved otherwise they will get....IT.

Enzo and Big Cass are in the ring with some breast cancer survivors and talked about how this is the 5th year the WWE and Susan G.Komen have teamed up in the fight against breast cancer. They introduce the winners of a contest from march in the ring - Gina Foreman, Kelly Sherman, and Angelica Frye who are survivors. They spoke how their stories will be available all month long and honoured them with titles.

5# The New Day (w/ Kofi Kingston) bt. Jeri-KO in a non-title match
(Seth Rollins makes his way out during the match but ran down to the apron when Jericho had the walls of Jericho applied. New Day then hit the Midnight Hour and got the 3. Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson were on commentary for this match. Post-match, Rollins hit Jericho with the pedigree.)

Tom Phillips is backstage with Charlotte and Dana Brooke, they discuss the Raw Women's Championship match tonight and says that Charlotte will be history after tonight.

Seth Rollins is walking backstage when he is stopped by Stephanie McMahon, she questioned what he was doing out there as he isn't medically cleared. Rollins claimed she can't tell him what to do anymore. Stephanie reminded Rollins he is on his own for the first time, and said he is replaceable just like everyone else. Stephanie told him that Triple H made the second worst decision of his life by turning on him, only to his worst decision was to marry Stephanie. Rollins says he wants his rematch or he is taking everyone down with him.

Charlotte is walking backstage when she bumps in to Bayley, Charlotte mocks Bayley before Bayley told her not to be too cocky. Charlotte went off for her match, Dana Brooke stayed behind and mocked her before putting her hands on Bayley. Bayley shoved her hands off, Dana shoved her in to the wall, Bayley reversed before Dana lands hard on her knees clutching one in pain.

(Randy Orton comes on the screen and it it upside down, he tells Wyatt that at No Mercy, he plans to turn Wyatt's world right side up. The image of Orton flips and he talks about being able to play Wyatt's games aswel. Wyatt got thrown to the outside and decided to go after Orton to win via count-out.)

We see Baron Corbin walking around backstage and he is asked about getting the attention of Jack Swagger recently. Corbin says that Swagger is dumber than he looks if he thinks he is oging to make some waves here on Smackdown Live, he talks about dropping Swagger where he stands when Swagger walked up to him. Swagger suggested we find out how bad Corbin is right now, Corbin said he does his talking in the ring as Swagger said he was going to find Daniel Bryan and wants to continue this conversation in the ring.

Bray Wyatt is backstage and is trying to find Randy Orton.

2# Nikki Bella bt. Alexa Bliss Via DQ
(Carmella hit the ring and started attacking Nikki Bella to cause the DQ. Post-match, Carmella continues the assault until Becky Lynch runs out and drops Bliss with a forearm. Becky hits Carmella with a forearm and tosses Bliss out of the ring. Nikki then tosses Carmella out of the ring. During the commercial, Daniel Bryan made a tag team match.)

3# Alexa Bliss & Carmella bt. Becky Lynch & Nikki Bella

Bray Wyatt is still walking around backstage looking for Randy Orton. Wyatt comes across a room with a rocking chair in it, as he approaches it, Orton brings the door down and asks Wyatt if this is what it is like to be hunted. Wyatt inside said that this place can't hold him.

Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring and is talking about this being the fifth year that the WWE has partnered with Susan G.Komen. They speak about the "More than pink" campaign that recognises individuals who take action against this terrible disease. He introduces five women in the ring and spoke how they were survivors, he then hands them a title belt each in the ring.

4# The Hype Bros bt. The Vaudevillains
(Post-match, The Ascension are yelling and pointing at the Hype Bros.)

The Miz and Maryse are in the ring for another edition of MIZ TV, he introduces his guest who could be making his final appearance on Smackdown Live tonight, Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler makes his way to the ring as Miz hypes the sunday at No Mercy when it is career vs. title between himself and Ziggler. Miz then introduces a clip of the "Dolphumentary" and was touted "the success of a failure" as the video package demeans Ziggler and his career.

Ziggler is not pleased with the video, Ziggler spoke about the positives in his career such as granting wishes for the Make-A-Wish foundation, cashing in his money in the bank contract and becoming the world champion, and also mentions he can't walk away because it is the fans who are the reason he became champion. Ziggler says he will become the new Intercontinental Champion this Sunday and how Miz isn't taking his career away from him. Miz says the career of Ziggler will end and it will end because of him, Miz then introduces two of the former members of the Spirit Squad - Kenny and Mikey. Miz mockingly said he could only find two members as the others got lost in transit back to OVW, he mocks Ziggler more before Kenny and Mikey attack Ziggler. Ziggler hits an uppercut and then a superkick to mikey. Miz attempted a skull crushing finale but Ziggler countered in to an attempt at a superkick but Miz bailed from the ring.

We go backstage and see Wyatt still locked in the room that Randy Orton had put him in.

5# Jason Jordan (W/ Chad Gable) bt. Jey Uso (w/ Jimmy Uso)
(Post-match, Jimmy Uso sent Gable in to the steel steps, Jordan went after Jimmy but Jey chopped the leg/knee of Jordan. The Usos throw Jordan in the ring before the Smackdown tag team champions Heath Slater and Rhyno made the save as The Usos bail from the ring.)

We see Bray Wyatt rocking on the chair in the room he is locked in, he then extends his hand and says he is ready to go home. After the commercial, Orton opened the door and Bray Wyatt is gone. Orton threw the chair at the wall and is visibly upset.

Curt Hawkins announces that he will step inside the ring this sunday at No Mercy.

6# Jack Swagger bt. Baron Corbin Via Submission
(Post-match, we see that Corbin was reaching for the rope and not tapping. Corbin is upset and pushes over steps and removing the top of the announce table at ringside in frustration.)

AJ Styles makes his way to the ring as all three competitors in the triple threat match this Sunday are having a face-off before No Mercy. Firstly, Styles spoke of Smackdown being the land of opportunity and referred to himself having beaten John Cena, won the WWE World Championship against Ambrose at Backlash, and how his opportunity to beat them both will be this Sunday.

Dean Ambrose is out next to interrupt, Ambrose referred to how Styles took the low road at Backlash, he then referenced how he had Styles beat last week but Cena couldn't stand the fact he beat him and showed his true colours.

John Cena them made his way to the ring, instantly, Styles told him to shut up as he knew what he was going to say. Styles knocked down the talk of how Cena comparing himself to Ric Flair as Cena has a chance to become a 16-time World Champion this Sunday. Styles says that Cena will never be in the same conversation as Ric Flair. Styles and Ambrose go back and forth with insults towards Cena. All Cena says is "talk is cheap" before tackling Ambrose and tossing Styles out of the ring. Cena hit an AA on Ambrose before holding the WWE World Championship high. Styles returns to the ring and tackles Cena, Cena went for an AA but Styles escaped, Styles then hit Cena with a flying forearm from the top turnbuckle.

Styles then leaves the ring where he was attacked by Ambrose who sent him in to the ring barricade, Ambrose then hit the dirty deeds on the steep ramp before holding up the WWE World Championship as the show comes to a close.

Alexa Bliss comes to the ring and spoke of how Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan are protecting the pathetic Smackdown women's Champion Becky Lynch. She claims the real reason Lynch isn't here is because of her and how she was afraid to lose her title to her. Bliss gets cut off when Naomi's music hits.

Michael Cole hypes Roman Reigns vs. Rusev for the WWE United States Championship, Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship and Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship. Only Reigns vs. Rusev will take place in the cell.

The new RAW Women's Champion Sasha Banks opens Monday night Raw and spoke of her career before her dream came true last week on Raw when she became a 2-time women's champion in the main event. She said this is for all about the women who came before and who came after, she says that the women's revolution is on a roll and she knows that Charlotte will be getting her rematch at Hell In A Cell. Sasha proposed that they up the ante by having the match inside Hell in a Cell.

Charlotte makes her way to the ring before Rusev unexpectedly makes his way to the ring with Lana. Rusev said that no one cares about the women's division or the fact they main evented RAW last week, he says he is the main event wherever he goes. Charlotte grabs a mic and angrily tells Rusev that no one disrespects the queen. Charlotte then accepts Sasha's challenge for the RAW women's championship to be held inside Hell in a Cell.

Rusev grabs the microphone back but soon Sasha grabs it off him and slams it down. Lana says they are two women who need to know their place, she says Hell in a Cell is made for real men before both Sasha and Charlotte push her down. They then double dropkick Rusev out of the ring. Rusev angrily gets back in the ring when Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring but Rusev exits.

1# Kofi Kingston (w/ The New Day) bt. Cesaro (w/ Sheamus)
(Sheamus gets in to an argument at ringside with Woods and Big E, Sheamus shoves Woods down as Big E clotheslined Sheamus to the floor. This distracted Cesaro which led to Kofi rolling him up to get the 3. Post-match, Sheamus and Cesaro argue with each other.)

We see footage from Goldberg from ESPN Sportscenter this past week, Goldberg mentioned that he would like to face Brock Lesnar and beat him again. They show footage of when Goldberg defeated Lesnar back at Wrestlemania XX.

2# Bayley bt. Cami Fields
(Post-match, Bayley was celebrating on the ramp with the wacky, wavy inflatable arm-flailing tube men until Dana Brooke attacked her from behind.)

Chris Jericho is backstage and is complaining on the phone about how he gives the "gift of Jericho" and gets nothing in return. Jericho goes over his resume whilst R-Truth watches in the background, Jericho told the person to get him the payday, R-Truth walks up to him and gives him a "Payday" candy bar. Jericho tells him it isn't what he meant before Truth says that's on him.

3# Lince Dorado & Sin Cara bt. Drew Gulak & Tony Nese

Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon are in the ring and mentioned that No Mercy was incredible last night but Raw will have Hell in a Cell in 3 weeks and it will blow No Mercy away. They mention that they already have one Hell in a Cell for the event, and then Foley booked the first-ever Women's match inside Hell in a Cell with Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte. Foley then booked a third Hell in a Cell for the show with Kevin Owens defending the WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins.

Kevin Owens made his way to the ring with Chris Jericho alongside him, Owens told Foley he doesn't want to be in a Hell in a Cell match as he wants to have a nice, long career and not wind up as a washed up GM like Foley. Owens and Jericho argue this decision before Jericho puts Foley on the list. Jericho attempts to get Stephanie to "take care of that guy" but Stephanie put over Foley as a legend and setting the bar for Hell in a Cell before telling Jericho to show some respect.

Stephanie told them they listened to Rollins to give his legitimate grievance, and also when Rollins said he wanted to get revenge on Owens and Jericho try. She said after watching last night's triple threat match, she figured that RAW could do it bigger and better. She made Chris Jericho vs. Seth Rollins tonight and if Jericho won, then he would be in the WWE Universal Championship match at Hell in a Cell. Stephanie left the ring by telling them to "have a nice day".

Seth Rollins is backstage and is asked about what just happened, Rollins said that he will beat Jericho tonight and then get his hands on Owens. Rollins then questions what happens if Jericho gets in the match with his best friend.

We see footage from the RAW pre-show as Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel agreed to tag together tonight. They are already in the ring when Enzo and Big Cass made their entrance. After Enzo does his schtick and get in the ring, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows attack him from behind, they soon hit the boot of doom before Gallows boots Cass down and give him the Magic Killer.

After the commercial, Curtis Axel is furious and demands two more people be sent down to face them as he still bolieves in Bo.

4# Neville & Sami Zayn bt. Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas

Charlotte is warming up backstage when Lana approaches her, she bemoans Charlotte putting her hands on her earlier. Charlotte told her to stay out of her way, Lana tells her that she may be Rusev's partner tonight, but she is his partner for life. She says she is not the jealous type but warns her to stay out of her way or there will be consequences.

5# R-Truth (w/ Goldust) bt. Titus O'Neil
(Goldust distracted Titus which led to R-Truth rolling him up to get the 3.)

Brian Kendrick is sitting backstage when T.J. Perkins walks up to him, Kendrick is ready to fight but Perkins calms him down. Perkins spoke of how Kendrick is afraid of failing on his last go around, Perkins said that he would have just given him a shot at the title before they shake hands as Perkins tells him it's not too late to be himself. Kendrick gets up to get a cheap shot but Perkins punches him down and tells him that he guesses he was wrong.

6# Braun Strowman bt. The Spash Brothers in a 2-on-1 Handicap match
(Byron Saxton got words from Steven and Clay Splash before the match. After the match, Saxton tried to get words from Strowman but he scurries off when Braun intimidated him. Braun reminded foley that he warned him to get real competition and these guys weren't it, he says if he doesn't get real competition next week, what happens will be on his hands.)

Sasha Banks is backstage when Roman Reigns walks up to her. Reigns asks if she’s ready, and she says she was born ready. Banks says she knows what she’s getting herself into. She can handle Charlotte. He just has to handle Rusev.

We see a video of the Royal Rumble by the numbers which will take place on Sunday January 29th from the Alamodome.

7# Sasha Banks & Roman Reigns bt. Charlotte & Rusev Via Submission in a mixed tag team match

Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho are backstage and talk of crossing Stephanie's name off the list. Phillips spoke about the potential triple threat match but Tom Phillips was on the receiving end of much mockery. They mention as long as one of them walks out as champion then they're both champions. Phillips asks about Owens walking off on Jericho last week. Owens says one of them has to be healthy and the other sometimes has to bite the bullet. Owens kicks Phillips out, but he doesn’t immediately leave, so Jericho puts him on the list.

Paul Heyman is in the ring and spoke about the comments made from Goldberg on ESPN's Sportcenter. He mentions how Lesnar and Goldberg's careers were running parallel but one thing that upsets his client is how Goldberg is still one up on him, that's why he has been authorized to come out here tonight and let the entire WWE Universe know that Goldberg is being challenged to a fight - Beast vs. The Myth, Icon vs. Icon, anywhere, anyplace, anytime. Brock Lesnar versus Goldberg!

Heyman says this goes around worldwide. Goldberg can listen to the WWE audience and live in the fantasy of WWE 2K17 where he will remain the one blemish on Brock Lesnar’s WWE career, or he can step into this ring and be beaten, victimized, and conquered by Lesnar because in Suplex City, he’s not Goldberg — he’s next!

8# T.J. Perkins bt. Ariya Daivari Via Submission in a non-title match
(Brian Kendrick was on commentary for this match.)

Chris Jericho is walking backstage when he bumps in to Stephanie McMahon, she compliments his scarf before wishing him luck in his match tonight, he says a win for Jericho is a win for RAW. She spoke about not being able to wait to see her brother's face when her show has a better match than his. She said she can't help him in the Cell and says he'll know what to do. She walks off as Owens approached him and asked him what it was about, Jericho told him "friendship" before too walking off.

We see a video honouring Tito Santana for Hispanic Heritage month.

Next week, Goldberg will be on RAW to answer Brock Lesnar's challenge.

9# Seth Rollins bt. Chris Jericho
(Kevin Owens was at ringside for the match, due to pre-match stipulations, the match will remain Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship inside Hell in a Cell. Post-match, Kevin Owens attacks Rollins and sets up for the Pop-up Powerbomb. Rollins counters and goes for the pedigree. Jericho attacks Rollins but shortly thereafter, Rollins hits a pedigree on Jericho. Owens doesn't make the save and walks off.)

So after 6 years of doing this, i am finally hanging up my hat. Please if someone wants to take over than do so, but i don't have the stomach for this anymore. Not now i have to watch about 86 hours of WWE TV a week
