(Post-match, Rhyno grabbed a microphone and says that he is here to make a statement and become the NXT Champion, before Rhyno put the NXT locker room on notice as whomever stands in front of him will receive the 'Gore'.)

Smackdown opens with Seth Rollins, alongside J&J Security, Kane & Big Show in the ring with Rollins talking about winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, being on the Today Show and what happened with Brock Lesnar this past Monday on Raw. Randy Orton interrupted the new champion and told Rollins that without Lesnar around, he thinks he is top of the list to get a title match, before having words for all 3 men in the ring. An angered Kane makes Orton vs. Big Show and if Orton wins then maybe the authority will reconsider his title opportunity, Kane then said the match starts right now.

1# Randy Orton bt. Big Show Via DQ - No Rating
(Kane and J&J Security assaulted Orton to cause the match to end via DQ. Post-match, Rollins went for Orton but Orton fought back but ended up getting hit with the chokeslam by Kane before Ryback made the save and along with Orton, took down J&J Security and Kane as Rollins escaped.)

2# Naomi bt. Natalya - 1/2*
(Featuring. The Bella Twins on Commentary)

BACKSTAGE - Kane tells Seth Rollins that he is considering making Rollins vs. Orton at Extreme Rules before Rollins begins to comment on a smell. Dean Ambrose then comes from Kane's executive bathroom which forced Kane to make Ambrose vs. Harper tonight.

We see earlier this week as Saxton sat down with Roman Reigns to discuss about his match with Lesnar at Wrestlemania and Rollins taking away his dream. Reigns says that he will be Rollins again as he has done before.

3# The Miz bt. R-Truth - 1/4*
(Post-match, Mizdow hit the 'Skull Crushing Finale' on Miz.)

John Cena makes his way to the ring to talk about the United States Championship and how it will now get the respect It deserves, Cena continues by talking about giving anyone an opportunity as he will continue the John Cena US Open challenge every week. Rusev and Lana come to the stage, Rusev gave Cena an opportunity to surrender the title or get crushed at Extreme Rules, the US champion challenges Rusev to come to the ring to fight but Rusev said told Cena all he will see at Extreme Rules is this. Rusev was awaiting the huge Russian flag to come from the ring, this was thwarted by Cena as he said Rusev will see this as a huge US flag hung above the ring.

4# Luke Harper vs. Dean Ambrose ended in a No Contest - *1/4
(Luke Harper powerbombed Ambrose through the announce table.)

We see a video of the Primetime Players mocking The New Day.

Sheamus comes out before his match and explains why he attacked Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan on Raw, his response was that he did it because he could. Sheamus then questioned where the real men had gone and said he won’t rest until he has put all the WWE Universe’s underdogs out of their misery and crush the WWE Universe’s hopes and dreams.

Seth Rollins along with J&J Security, Kane and Big Show are in the ring with Rollins wishing Triple H & Stephanie McMahon wishes as they are on vacation. Rollins spoke of the authority making moments at Wrestlemania, before they were interrupted by the viper, who wants a chance at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Kane tells Orton that other superstars are under consideration so tonight it will be Randy Orton vs. Ryback vs. Roman Reigns in a triple threat match to determine the number 1 contender but also all 3 men will compete in singles matches prior to the main event. Kane told Orton that he will be facing the director of operations himself right now.

(Kane attacked Orton with a steel chair but it was Orton who almost hit an RKO on Kane but he escaped.)

BACKSTAGE - Seth Rollins and Kane have a disagreement which resulted in Kane putting Rollins in to a match next.

(Post-match, Rollins hit Neville with another 'Curb Stomp'.)

After mocking the New Day last week, we see another video from the Primetime Players who this time mock the Ascension.

BACKSTAGE - Cameron, Alicia Fox, Summer Rae and Natalya manage to goad Kane in to making a battle royal next week to determine a number 1 contender for the Divas title.

Before Sheamus' match, Sheamus questions once again why there is a lack of big men in the WWE before once again taking a shot at the underdogs such as Dolph Ziggler. Sheamus was soon interrupted by the World's Strongest man.

(Big Show hit Reigns with 2 KO punches before Orton went for Rollins but he was taken on by the authority, Ryback made the save but it was Orton who hit Ryback with the RKO to get the win. Post-match, Rollins hit Orton with a ‘curb stomp’.)

We see highlights from the first round where Finn Balor defeated Baron Corbin, Tyler Breeze defeated Bull Dempsey, Hideo Itami defeated Jason Jordan and Neville defeated Kalisto.

Thursday Night Smackdown opened with the Intercontinental Champion talking about the ladder match at Wrestlemania being the match of his life, before his blood was spilled last week by Sheamus. Bryan spoke of defending the title tonight before being interrupted by Bad News Barrett and then Sheamus came to the ring. The odds were evened when Dolph Ziggler came to the ring, but the world's largest athlete came down ready to take down Bryan and Ziggler. Roman Reigns made his way down to evened the odds and cleaned house. After the commercial we learned that tonight it will now be Sheamus, Bad News Barrett & Big Show vs. Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler & Roman Reigns in a six man tag team main event.

Bray Wyatt spoke about the first time he saw Rowan and how he fixed him before setting him free, Wyatt said that now Rowan is broken again and tonight he will finally destroy him.

We have another edition of MIZ TV but it was quickly interrupted by Summer Rae as The Miz was talking about 'The Marine 4', Miz disagreed with Summer he was the co-star of the movie. They moved on to the topic of Mizdow as Miz blamed the WWE Universe for making Mizdow believe that he is something that he is not. Mizdow then interrupted proceedings when Miz was explaining Mizdow's backstory, Miz offered forgiveness to Mizdow if he apologies. Mizdow shook the hand of Miz before apologising that he 'didn't do this sooner', as Mizdow assaulted Miz before planting a lip lock on to Summer Rae.

(Post-match, Lana comes to the stage but Rusev hit Cena from behind with a chain before Lana announced that as per the Authority's ruling, it will be John Cena vs. Rusev for the WWE United States Championship at Extreme Rules in a Russian Chain match.)

NEXT WEEK - Triple H will have an announcement about the new season of WWE Tough Enough.

2# Paige won a divas battle royal to become the #1 contender for the Divas Championship - *1/2
(Feat. The Bella Twins on commentary for the match; Participants were - Paige, Naomi, Natalya, Summer Rae, Rosa Mendes, Cameron, Emma and Alicia Fox)

After the commercial, Byron Saxton interviewed the new number 1 contender for the Divas title, Paige was elated that she won infront of her hometown fans. Naomi soon interrupted by attacking Paige around ringside.

We see a video of Bray Wyatt talking about how love can turn to obsession and consume your wellbeing and cost you everything. Wyatt spoke about ripping the love out of ‘them’ and fill it with fear as he is doing them a favour.

3# Lucha Dragons bt. The Ascension - *1/2

Booker T interviews Roman Reigns about his mental state after he lost at Wrestlemania, Reigns responded by saying that he is mentally strong and he made Lesnar look ‘different’ before Seth Rollins took his moment. Reigns says that he will become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, attentions then turned to Big Show costing him the match last week and refers to Show as ‘Seth’s bitch’. Big Show comes on-screen to tell Reigns that his goal is to make him the most epic failure in history, Show threatened to keep knocking down Reigns with the KO punch before Reigns retaliated by warning Show that he will shove his trophy down his throat and retire him. As Reigns was leaving, he was ambushed by the world’s largest athlete and was tossed in to the LED board and multiple times in to the black taxi on the stage, the final blow came when Show chokeslammed Reigns on the roof of the taxi.

4# Randy Orton bt. Cesaro Via DQ - *3/4
(Tyson Kidd interfered in the match to cause the DQ. Post-match, Kane stated that as the option to choose the stipulation for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at Extreme Rules is on the line, this match can’t end by DQ. Kane then made the match a 2 on 1 Handicap match.)

5# Randy Orton bt. Tyson Kidd & Cesaro in a “2 on 1 Handicap” match - **
(Due to pre-match stipulations, Orton can now choose a stipulation for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match for Extreme Rules.)

BACKSTAGE – Seth Rollins wants to change his opponent tonight who is currently Dolph Ziggler, Rollins then implies that Kane should lay down for him in order for him to pick a stipulation tonight.

6# Dean Ambrose bt. Adam Rose - *1/2

BACKSTAGE – Big Show tells Kane that him lying down for Rollins tonight is what is “best for business”.

7# Stardust bt. Fandango - *1/2
(Post-match, Fandango claims that his problems are down to the fact he has been sharing his dance with only one, and not the whole world. Fandango then starts ‘fandangoing’ once again in his old pink tights.)

BACKSTAGE – Daniel Bryan tells Kane how he feels sorry for him and how he shouldn’t be a stooge but a man.

THIS THURSDAY ON SMACKDOWN – John Cena will have another US Open Challenge.

8# Seth Rollins bt. Kane – No Rating
(Kane chokeslammed the WWE World Heavyweight Champion but then lay down for him putting Rollins arm over him to get the win. Due to pre-match stipulations, both Randy Orton and Seth Rollins now get to pick a stipulation for their match at Extreme Rules and we will find out the stipulation later tonight.)

9# Damien Mizdow bt. The Miz – 3/4*

We see a video from the Primetime Players who mock another tag team, with this time being Los Matadores and El Torito.

10# Ryback bt. Luke Harper Via DQ - *1/4
(Harper hit Ryback with a part from the announce table to cause the DQ. Post-match, Ambrose came down and beat down Harper for revenge after it was Harper who put Ambrose through the announce table a couple weeks ago, Harper soon retreated from the Lunatic Fringe.)

BACKSTAGE – In an interview with Byron Saxton, Naomi said that her attacking Paige is because it is now about her and she is taking her chances from now on.

11# Dolph Ziggler bt. Neville - ***
(Post-match, Sheamus assaulted Ziggler and then hit Neville with the brogue kick, Sheamus continued the beatdown of Ziggler but it was Ziggler who took the fight to Sheamus before Sheamus sent him in to the ring-post and made him the recipient of the brogue kick.)

Seth Rollins along with J&J Security came to the ring and called out Orton so he could tell him his stipulation choice, once the viper came to the ring, he was ready to fight. Rollins states that stipulation for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at Extreme Rules is that the RKO is banned, Orton's stipulation is that the match will be inside a steel cage. Rollins told Orton that he will be his first victim at Extreme Rules, Orton retaliated by going after Rollins and then hits the RKO on Joey Mercury as Rollins flea's the ring.

John Cena opens Smackdown to talk about facing Rusev at Extreme Rules in a Russian Chain match, Cena then turned his attention to the John Cena US Open challenge and it was the WWE Tag Team Champions who answered. Tyson Kidd & Csaro made their way to the ring giving a number of 'facts' but neither were here to answer the US open challenge, they claimed that they were the greatest champions in the WWE. Cena challenges one of them to fight right now and then Daniel Bryan made his way out to tell the tag champs to prove their superiority tonight by facing himself and cena in a tag team match, the match was accepted.

1# Bray Wyatt bt. R-Truth - *1/2

We see highlights from Michael Cole interviewing Roman Reigns on WWE.COM and Reigns said that he will continue to get up and then he will take the fight to the Big Show.

The Miz comes down to the ring for his match, but before it he talks about how Mizdow got lucky this past Monday on Raw as he made Mizdow. Barrett then came out to say the fans came to see the man who will become a 6-time Intercontinental Champion at Extreme Rules.

2# Bad News Barrett bt. The Miz - SQUASH

BACKSTAGE - Damien Sandow & Summer Rae were being interviewed but The Miz interrupted as he wants a rematch and wants Mizdow to stop being him. Mizdow says that this Monday on Raw, it will be him vs. The Miz where the winner gets to keep the Miz "brand". The interview finished with a slap by Summer Rae after derogatory words by Miz.

3# Neville bt. Sheamus Via DQ - ***
(Sheamus dumped Neville on the announce table to cause the DQ. Post-match, Sheamus tossed Neville back in to the ring before continuing the assault, Dolph Ziggler then made the save and Sheamus retreated. Ziggler called Sheamus a bully before Sheamus told him to "kiss me arse", then he announces in two weeks at Extreme Rules it will Be Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler in A "Kiss me Arse" match.)

Big Show comes to the stage to talk about being unstoppable and how Roman Reigns was disrespectful to him this past Monday on Raw, Show continues to talk and show footage of what he did to Reigns and claimed that he chose not to destroy him. Show then announced and agreed upon by the authority, it is going to be him vs. Reigns at Extreme Rules in a Last Man Standing match.

5# Cameron bt. Natalya & Alicia Fox in a “Triple Threat” match - *3/4

(Rosa Mendes distracted Adam Rose as she was trying to talk to her former-dance partner, this led to a roll-up by Fandango and then the 3.)

Bray Wyatt comes on-screen talking about someone and telling them that they need to be more careful as the reaper comes out in the daytime.

Randy Orton opens Monday night Raw with a steel cage surrounding the ring, Orton talks about what he will do to Seth Rollins this sunday. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion then comes to the stage along with J&J Security, he talks how good he is and promises that Orton isn't walking out of Extreme Rules the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. After the commercial, Orton says he will RKO every S.O.B backstage to get out his frustration after not being able to use the RKO this Sunday, Orton told Rollins that he too will get an RKO by the end of Raw.

1# Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper ended in a No Contest - *
(Both men fought around the arena until Harper sent Ambrose head first in to the LED board before throwing him off the stage. Ambrose got up to the surprise of Harper so he retreated.)

2# Kofi Kingston & Big E bt. Lucha Dragons Via count-out to become the #1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship - **3/4
(Xavier Woods came from under the ring and held down the feet of Sin Cara which caused him to be counted out. Post-match, Orton hit the RKO on to Kingston and Woods but Big E retreated.)

3# Fandango bt. Curtis Axel - *

Triple H returns to Raw for the first time since Wrestlemania, the C.O.O is here to talk about the new season of WWE Tough Enough which begins June 23rd on USA - Triple H urges those to upload videos as the top 10 male and top 5 female will compete where 1 man and 1 female will win a WWE Contract. Kane interrupted Triple H to give him his two weeks notice due to the fact that Triple H puts faith in someone (Seth Rollins) that isn't worth the investment. Rollins came to the stage before he and Kane traded words with Kane telling Rollins he wouldn't be the champ if he didn't help him win the briefcase at Money in the Bank, Triple H tried to rectify the situation by making Kane the "guardian of the gate" this sunday as he is the authority's most loyal employee; anyone who goes in and out of the cage will have to go through Kane. Rollins then reluctantly shook hands with the director of operations, after the commercial, Triple H tells Kane backstage that he is now corporate and no longer 'hell, fire and brimstone', Kane tells the C.O.O that he is and he will prove it. When Kane leaves, Triple H tells Rollins to be thankful for Kane and tonight he can prove he is the man by facing Dolph Ziggler.

BACKSTAGE – Heath Slater is sat with Erick Rowan at catering claiming he will accept the United States Open challenge tonight, moments later, Rowan left without a word but Randy Orton hit the RKO on to Slater through a table.

Roman Reigns comes to the ring and is fired up after last week, Reigns said that he is in the mood for fighting before he calls out the man who assaulted him last week – the Big Show. Instead of the world’s largest athlete, Bo Dallas came down and assaulted Reigns by calling him a ‘bust’ as he fails at every chance he gets. Reigns hit Dallas with the “Superman punch” and then a spear, Reigns grabbed the microphone and said that he will be the last man standing this Sunday, and you can “Bolieve” that.

5# Sheamus bt. Zack Ryder Via DQ – SQUASH
(Sheamus destroyed Ryder throughout but spoke on the microphone throughout whilst he was doing It, to save Ryder from further onslaught, Dolph Ziggler saved Ryder by hitting the “Zig Zag” on to Sheamus.)

John Cena came to the ring for the ‘John Cena United States open challenge’, before he gave someone else an opportunity at the United States title, he spoke of his match this Sunday against Rusev and outlined his intentions. He then issued the open challenge, and it was answered by the director of operations himself.

(Summer Rae who accompanied Mizdow to ringside, raked the eyes of him behind the referee’s back which led to the “Skull Crushing Finale”, and the 3. Post-match, Miz began to celebrate his victory with Summer Rae but the Viper struck again and hit the Miz with the RKO.)

Rollins apologized to Kane before telling him that he appreciates Kane that much, he will dedicate his match to him.

This Thursday on Smackdown, we will see the #1 contender for the United States title – Rusev face off against “the big guy” Ryback.

(Sheamus distracted Ziggler which led to Rollins getting the 3. Post-match, Rollins began to send a message to Orton before the C.O.O came to the ring to predict that Rollins will win this Sunday before he was cut off by the WWE World champ. Rollins said that he will pin Orton this Sunday which will leave Kane obsolete, Kane came to the ring but Triple H and J&J Security held him off whilst Rollins was in the ring with the cage being lowered. Before the cage lowered completely, Rollins was left in the cage with the viper who snook in and hit Rollins with an RKO.)

The WWE World Heavyweight Champion opens Smackdown along with J&J Security, they talk about what happened with Randy Orton on Raw and also about how Kane is the "gatekeeper" in the steel cage match this sunday; to which Rollins claimed that he did not need any help to beat the viper. Kane came to the ring and reminded Rollins of his importance this sunday, Rollins responded with some disparaging remarks before Kane requested that it is only "fair" that he lay down for him after the director of operations did the same thing a couple weeks ago. Kane brought down a referee but Rollins made reference to how the authority wouldn't accept this, Kane reminded Rollins that the authority isn't here tonight so he is in charge. Kane rings the bell and just as Rollins was going to lay down, Kane revealed that it was all a rouse, however Rollins will face Dean Ambrose right now. As soon as Ambrose came down, Luke Harper made his way down and eventually Ambrose was left fending off 4 men until Roman Reigns made the save and along with Ambrose, took down all 4 men. After the commercial, it was announced that tonight it will be Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins & Luke Harper.

Dean Ambrose interrupts the kick-off panel by talking about how he has come to Chicago for a Chicago street fight and for revenge on Luke Harper; after seeing what Harper has done to Ambrose since Wrestlemania.

Bray Wyatt comes on-screen to talk about "someone" having a desire to be larger than life but is a fool as Wyatt can see through the charade. Wyatt says a man can't become a god, but a god can walk amongst men.

Before his match, Bad News Barrett talks about how the fans in Chicago came tonight to see him knock Bryan in to oblivion and take back is Intercontinental Championship but Daniel Bryan isn't medically cleared or here tonight. Barrett takes claim to this, he also decided to throw the fans In Chicago a "bone", as he will give Neville the 'bullhammer' saved for Bryan.

Bo Dallas makes his way to the ring before insulting the people and the city of Chicago, Dallas was interrupted by “the big guy”, who came to the ring but Dallas let loose on Ryback before Ryback hit the “meathook” clothesline and then the “shellshock”.

BACKSTAGE – As Rusev was being interviewed, Lana returned from the authority’s office and said that it is done, the final chapter will be at Payback where John Cena will defend the WWE United States Championship against Rusev in an “I Quit” match.

7# Seth Rollins bt. Randy Orton in a “Steel Cage” match where the RKO is banned to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship - ***
(feat Kane who was the ‘gatekeeper’ for the match got knocked to the ground, when the director of operations got to his feet, he slammed the door of the cage in to both Orton and Rollins. Kane and J&J Security then got in the ring but Kane hit the ‘double chokeslam’ on to J&J Security before Kane ‘chokeslammed’ both Orton and then Rollins. Kane pulled Rollins on to Orton but only got a 2 count, Kane went to ‘tombstone’ Orton but instead Orton hit the RKO on to Kane before Orton controversially got RKO’d by Rollins who escaped the cage and won the match.)

Kane had words for Rollins by saying he used an illegal RKO last night before calling him the WWE version of Justin Bieber, as things were getting heated between the two, Randy Orton interrupted and said the illegal use of the RKO is cause for another title match. Roman Reigns then makes his way to the ring and also makes a claim to the title, despite Rollins saying both men are not deserving, Kane makes himself and Rollins vs. Orton & Reigns tonight, but before the end of the night, the WWE Universe will decide Seth Rollins' opponent at Payback.

Cena then issues another challenge in the United States open challenge and outcomes Heath Slater, Rusev assaulted Slater from behind before superkicking him off the stage. Rusev once again sent Lana to the back before calling the Green Bay crowd and America quitters then said Cena will be like them at Payback.

BACKSTAGE – Kane told Rollins, who threatened to ‘telltale’ to the authority that the options for the WWE Universe to vote for his opponent at Payback is either Randy Orton, Roman Reigns or both Orton & Reigns in a triple threat match.

Sandow was soon interrupted by Curtis Axel but Sandow mimmicks everything Axel says and does. Axel went for the former stuntman but it was Sandow who took Axel down.

This Thursday Night on Smackdown, we will see an Extreme Rules rematch when The New Day defend the WWE Tag Team Championship against Tyson Kidd and Cesaro.

Bray Wyatt comes on-screen with words for Ryback before saying it is only the beginning and for him to ‘run’.

Owens called out Zayn but got the NXT General Manager instead, Regal tells Owens that he will not use NXT for his own agenda, Owens remained adamant that he wanted Sami Zayn. Zayn came out but was halted by the GM, Regal they announced on May 20th at NXT Takeover, it will be Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn for the NXT Championship. Owens questioned what Zayn had done to deserve a title match and refused to put the title on the line, Zayn then goaded him in to it and despite threats by Owens, we have the match for Takeover.

BACKSTAGE - Alex Riley comes in to Regal's office where Zayn is also in there, Riley wants another opportunity at Kevin Owens but Regal says he has no more opportunities at the NXT Champion, Zayn told Riley that if he wants a match tonight, he could do with a tune up.

(Roman Reigns speared Orton by accident which cost them the match. Post-match, Kane made Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns in tonight's main event.)

BACKSTAGE - Kane walks in to Rollins where Rollins claimed that the authority is coming back and Kane will be punished. Kane then made Rollins face the man he faced on Smackdown, Dean Ambrose, this time with J&J Security banned from ringside.

Renee Young brought Ryback to the ring to interview him about why he has been the target of Bray Wyatt, Ryback sent a message to Wyatt that he eats fear and negativity before saying it's feeding time. Wyatt comes on-screen and calls Ryback a scared little boy before telling him to run.

John Cena talks about his “I Quit” match in 2 weeks at Payback and whomever wins, it will be the last match between both men as Cena said, if he doesn’t win then he doesn’t deserve a rematch. Cena talks about fighting for what he believes in and says that in 2 weeks the champ is here, before saying right now, the champ is also here and issues a John Cena United States championship open challenge. To the elation of the crowd in Montreal, Bret “Hitman” Hart came to the ring and says he is here to introduce a great wrestler, Heath Slater then interrupted the former WWE Champion by saying that he refuses his United States title opportunity to be taken away from him again. The Hitman clocked Slater before introducing Cena’s opponent – Sami Zayn.

6# John Cena bt. Sami Zayn to retain the WWE United States Championship - ***1/2

The Bella Twins were on the way to the ring for a match, Naomi and Tamina attacked both Bella from behind before Naomi spoke of how the Bella Twins’ dominance over the divas division is over, as this is what family is all about, pointing to the relation Tamina has with her husband.

7# King Barrett & Sheamus bt. Neville & Dolph Ziggler - **1/4

Before the next match, Jamie Noble announced that he will be the guest ring announcer for the match before announcing Joey Mercury as the guest timekeeper, Kane as the guest ringside enforcer and Rollins as the guest commentator.

8# Roman Reigns bt. Randy Orton Via DQ - **
(Kane attacked Reigns to cause the DQ, the authority then went for Orton. Reigns flew over the top rope on to all of them but it was still a 4 on 2 disadvantage as the authority took control, this was at least until the Lunatic fringe came to make the save and took down Rollins. Kane and J&J Security soon got sent out of the ring, Reigns then hit a spear to Rollins before Orton hit Reigns with an RKO and then Ambrose hit a dirty deeds on Orton as Ambrose was left standing.)

Recently, Michael Cole sat down with the NXT Champion to talk about why he did what he did to Sami Zayn. Throughout the interview, Owens dismissed claims that it was personal between both men, Owens claimed that it was only about the NXT Championship and then refused to comment on anything related to Sami Zayn.

(Post-match, Rhyno said that he wants Baron Corbin at Takeover as both men have been described as unstoppable.)

BACKSTAGE - Uhaa Nation comes in to William Regal's office to sign an NXT contract, then we see a video previewing him.

It was set to be Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady vs. Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder but Amore and Big Cass never showed, we then saw the NXT Tag Team Champions assaulting both of them backstage.

Recently, Michael Cole sat down with the number 1 contender for the NXT Championship to talk about Kevin Owens in which Zayn described it as personal. Zayn claimed that there will be no issue in him focussing on Owens despite their previous personal relationship, Zayn said that next week he will come to the ring and he wants Owens once and for all to tell him why he did it.

William Regal presented a contract signing between Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks ahead of their NXT Women's Championship match at Takeover. Lynch spoke of her life and what she has done to get to this point, once Banks signed the contract with a stamp, she got some cheap shots in on the number one contender before Lynch turned it around and applied her version of the arm-bar.

Alex Riley sent a video message to talk about having to go for a knee operation, he spoke of risks and them not being worthwhile before saying that we won't see him for a while, but claims this is what the people want.

BACKSTAGE - During an interview with Dana Brooke, she spoke about running Charlotte out of NXT.

3# Hideo Itami bt. Tyler Breeze - **3/4
(Finn Balor was sat at ringside for the match, he was taken down by Balor by accident. Post-match, Breeze attacked Itami from behind before Balor made the save, when Balor was checking on Itami, Breeze hit the "Supermodel kick" and the "beauty shot" on Balor and Itami respectively.)

Barrett then further putdown Lawler and his hometown of Memphis, Barrett insisted Lawler "hail king barrett", Lawler refused so Barrett set up for the "Bullhammer", Ziggler came to the defence of Lawler.

(Sheamus attacked Ziggler to cause the DQ, post-match, it became a 2 on 1 beatdown until Neville made the save.)

(Post-match, Erick Rowan came to the ring and continued the beatdown on to Fandango.)

Lana is in the ring but requests that the WWE Universe doesn’t cheer for her as it angers Rusev, the former United-States Champion then came to the ring and sent Lana to the locker room. Rusev then spoke of how John Cena’s victories have been a fluke and a miracle, Rusev said that at Payback he will win back his United States title, Rusev then said that this Monday on Raw, he will meet Cena face to face to tell him why he will say the words “I Quit”.

4# The New Day bt. Tyson Kidd, Cesaro & Ryback in a Six Man Tag Team match - ***1/4
(The lights went off and came on, making us believe Bray Wyatt was going to appear but he did not do so. This led to confusion and Kidd got rolled up as the new day picked up the win.)

5# Naomi bt. Emma - *
(Post-match, both Naomi and Tamina beat down Emma in a 2 on 1 attack, this ended with Tamina hitting a side-kick on to Emma.)

6# Lucha Dragons bt. Los Matadores - **1/2

The Director Of Operations is in the ring to oversee the contract signing between Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose for their fatal-4-way match at Payback. All participants apart from Rollins came to the ring, Rollins made an attempt to get Kane to sign the contract for him, Kane declined as Rollins was perfectly fine to do so. Once all 4 men sign, things breakdown between Rollins and Kane, chaos then ensued in the ring and around ringside. Rollins slips away but Orton hit an RKO on to Ambrose, Reigns hit a “Superman Punch” to Orton before Rollins came back and took down Reigns and was left standing to end the show.
