3# Bray Wyatt bt. Roman Reigns - **3/4
(A hooded man hit the super-kick on Reigns which led to Wyatt picking up the win, post-match, the hooded man was revealed to be Luke Harper.)

4# Charlotte bt. Brie Bella & Sasha Banks Via Submission in a "Triple Threat" match - ***1/2
5# John Cena bt. Kevin Owens Via Submission to retain the WWE United States Championship - ***1/2

The Miz makes an appearance and bemoans Ryback being injured before insulting the Big Show and making comments how "he has been missing since the attitude era". Miz demands that the Authority come down and award him with the Intercontinental title until the world's largest athlete came to the ring and hit Miz with a KO punch and then left without saying a word.

WWE Summerslam is coming to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY on Sunday 23rd August.

6# Brock Lesnar bt. Seth Rollins Via DQ in a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match - **3/4
(Lesnar had the match won until the lights went out and when they came on, The Undertaker was stood in the ring with Lesnar before hitting him with a chokeslam and then two tombstones.)

The Undertaker opened Monday Night Raw and spoke of how streaks are made to be broken, but since it has happened there has been a constant reminder of how Lesnar broke the streak and now is enough. The Undertaker spoke of how last night was his resurrection as you can't kill what won't time, the Deadman then says that he will conquer what has yet to be conquered and Lesnar will rest in peace. We cut straight to the Authority backstage after this who were ready to make this match for Summerslam in 5 weeks.

1# Charlotte (w/ Becky Lynch & Paige) bt. Brie Bella (w/ Nikki & Alicia Fox) Via Submission - *3/4
(Team BAD were on commentary.)

BACKSTAGE - Triple H calls up Paul Heyman to tell him to tell Lesnar not to show up tonight as he doesn't want this Undertaker vs. Lesnar match jeopardized. Miz came in to the office and bemoaned what happened last night before Triple H made him face Big Show tonight.

2# Los Matadores bt. Primetime Players in a non-title match - **
(The New Day distracted the tag team champions which cost them the match.)

3# Big Show bt. The Miz - SQUASH
(Post-match, after Miz made comments of Show being missing since the attitude era last night, the world's largest athlete responded with words for Miz before saying that he will be the one to take the Intercontinental title from Ryback anywhere and even challenged Ryback to show up tomorrow night in Florida on WWE Tough Enough.)

BACKSTAGE - The Authority spot Paul Heyman in the arena who tells them that he is only here to do a report for Lesnar and he is not here. Moments later, we see Triple H and Stephanie McMahon telling the WWE locker room to protect the WWE Summerslam main event by keeping both men apart.

Paul Heyman comes to the ring and bemoans Lesnar not being the WWE World Heavyweight Champion because of The Undertaker and once again he continues to brag of Lesnar ending the streak. Heyman made It personal until the deadman himself appeared in the ring and then Lesnar made his way down, the brawl of all brawls erupted in the ring with officials, security and WWE superstars failing to separate both men as it spilled from the ring in to the backstage area. It wasn't until Lesnar was taken away from the police that the brawl ceased.

4# Roman Reigns bt. Luke Harper Via DQ - *3/4
(Bray Wyatt interfered in the match before he took down Ambrose who evened the odds earlier. Post-match, Wyatt and Harper continued the assault on Reigns until he and Ambrose sent both men reeling.)

Seth Rollins comes to the ring and spoke of everyone being wrong as he is still the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, he then claimed that he is underappreciated despite surviving the beast last night and also everyone else who has been put in front of him. Rollins claimed that he was also robbed by The Undertaker last night and made Lilian Garcia announce the official result of the match which ultimately meant that Rollins was still the champ. John Cena interrupted and made comments of how Rollins is a poor excuse of a champion and says that the more people who lose faith in the wwe world title, the more people gain faith in the United States title. Cena is ready to fight but Rollins leaves the ring.

5# Sasha Banks & Naomi (w/ Tamina) bt. Paige & Becky Lynch (w/ Charlotte) Via Submission - *1/2
(Team Bella were on commentary for the match, following the match it was announced that Sasha Banks & Naomi will face The Bella Twins this Thursday Night on Smackdown.)

BACKSTAGE – Renee Young interviewed Lana regarding an update on Dolph Ziggler who has suffered no permanent damage, Summer Rae comes along dressed very Lana-esque before Rusev kisses her infront of Lana and then Lana suffers a slam at the hands of Summer Rae.

6# Randy Orton, Cesaro & John Cena bt. Rusev, Kevin Owens & Sheamus in a six man tag team match - **1/2
(Sheamus got knocked of the apron accidentally by Owens which annoyed Sheamus to the point that he gave a shot to Owens and left the match, moments later when Rusev is down, he gets super kicked by Owens and Owens is the one who leaves the Bulgarian brute with the 3 men in the ring. Soon Lana comes to the ring and exacts some revenge on Summer Rae with a good old fashioned cat fight, Rusev is furious and distracted which leads to his downfall and it ends with an RKO by Randy Orton.)

Finn Balor returns to the NXT arena as they NEW NXT Champion and is interviewed by Greg Hamilton, Balor speaks about being the champion before it is announced that there will be a contract signing tonight for the rematch between Finn Balor and Kevin Owens, this will take place on August 22nd at NXT Takeover - Brooklyn. Balor made a statement that he will walk in and out of Brooklyn the NXT Champion.

2# Baron Corbin won a squash match in less than 10 seconds - SQUASH
3# Samoa Joe bt. Mike Rawlis - *3/4
(During this match, it was announced that it will be Samoa Joe vs. Rhyno in 2 weeks time on NXT.)

4# Bayley bt. Emma - **
(Post-match, Bayley says that he is back to be the NXT Women's Champion but to be the champion then she has to beat the best, before then challenging Charlotte to a match.)

BACKSTAGE - In an interview with Charlotte, she accepts the challenge from Bayley but claims no one wants to be the NXT Champion more than here. Dana Brooke comes along and says that she wants a chance and that she is here to make a statement, she then challenges Charlotte to a match, Charlotte said that Bayley can wait an extra week before accepting the challenge from Dana.

5# The Vaudevillains bt. Angelo Dawkins & Sawyer Fulton - *3/4
(During this match, it was announced it will be Blake & Murphy vs. The Vaudevillains next week for the NXT Tag Team Championship)

BACKSTAGE - In an interview with the NXT Tag Team Champions and Alexa Bliss, they remained confident whilst Bliss said that she will make sure that they keep the titles.

The NXT General Manager William Regal presented a contract signing between Finn Balor and Kevin Owens for their match for the NXT Championship on August 22nd. Owens claimed that Balor was still the underdog despite being the champion and in Brooklyn he will prove that Japan was a fluke as he becomes the first ever 2-time NXT Champion, Owens also said he will take Balor out for good. Balor remained untroubled by his comments as both men signed the contract, Owens then attacked Balor and cheap shotted Regal before Balor sends owens flying out the ring.

He then warned anyone who wanted to face him as his crowning moment is yet to happen.

The Authority and Seth Rollins open Monday Night Raw with the announcement that Summerslam will now be a 4-hour event and will be headlined by The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar. It was also announced that tonight will be a night of firsts as it will be Big Show vs. Dean Ambrose, Paige vs. Sasha Banks, Kevin Owens vs. Randy Orton and a divas tag team match of Alicia Fox & Nikki Bella vs. Becky Lynch & Charlotte. Seth Rollins then spoke of Battleground and being the greatest champion of all time before being interrupted by the United States Champion who disagrees and says tonight it should be Seth Rollins vs. John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Stephanie disagreed as he had to earn a title match but instead Triple H announced it will be Seth Rollins vs. John Cena tonight but it will be for the WWE United States Championship.

(The Miz was on commentary for the match, post-match, Ambrose side-stepped the Big Show as he went crashing through the security wall.)

2# Neville bt. Fandango - *1/2
(Post-match, Stardust came on-screen and said that he will save the WWE Universe from the do-gooders and there is nothing that Neville can do about it.)

3# Sasha Banks bt. Paige Via Submission in a non-title match - ***

Rusev and Summer Rae are in the ring and Rusev spoke of being smitten with Summer Rae before giving her a gift which was a dog, they called it Dog Ziggler. The Bulgarian brute wasn't done with the gifts as he gave her a fish called Lana, Lana interrupted proceedings and called Rusev pitiful, she then proceeded to kick Summer Rae and shove her face in to the fish, she then slapped Rusev before leaving.

We go back one week to the brawl between the Undertaker and Brock Lesnar, we then learn that Brock Lesnar will be at Raw next week.

4# Lucha Dragons bt. Los Matadores - **3/4
(The New Day came to ringside with Kingston holding a sign which read “Real Mega Dad of the year”, this was aimed at Titus O’neil who was on commentary with Darren Young for the match, poking fun at him being the celebrity dad of the year.)

Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper came to the ring with the prodigal son returning home, Wyatt spoke of parents not loving their children as they lie to them as the ones who set out to protect should be feared most and only then can they be free. Wyatt told a story about a pet who was set free but returned home after learning a lesson, this was to show that freedom comes at a price, Wyatt then related the story to Harper who then explained that Wyatt showed him the truth and blamed everyone for how he is now, Harper claimed that it was Wyatt who saved him and showed him his path in life. Wyatt spoke of Ambrose being in danger as it’s Reigns’ burden to bare as he will seal his fate.

5# Becky Lynch & Charlotte bt. Alicia Fox & Nikki Bella Via Submission - **

We see highlights from WWE Tough Enough last week as Patrick was eliminated, then the Big Show was the guest down there and gave some shots to some of the competitors. It was announced that Team B.A.D will be live tomorrow night.

6# Randy Orton bt. Kevin Owens Via DQ - **3/4
(Sheamus was on commentary for the match but he gave Orton a Brogue kick to force the match to end Via DQ, post-match, Cesaro made a feline for Owens and took out Sheamus. Owens then hit the “pop-up powerbomb” on Cesaro.)

This Thursday Night on Smackdown it will be Becky Lynch facing the WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella.

Samoa Joe comes on-screen with a message for Rhyno ahead of their match next week. We then see an exclusive from last week on NXT as Kevin Owens apologised to William Regal for punching him last week. We then move on to Sasha Banks who says that she is coming for the NXT Women's Championship.

(Alexa Bliss grabbed the foot of Gotch which led to Blake & Murphy retaining the Tag Team titles. Post-match, Vaudevillains took down the tag team champs which left Bliss alone in the ring but they refused to put their hands on her so she slapped them and left the ring.)

(Kevin Owens, who was on commentary for the match, attacked Cesaro to cause the DQ. Post-match, both Owens and Rollins beatdown Cesaro in a 2 on 1 attack.)

2# Lucha Dragons & Los Matadores bt. The Ascension, Big E & Kofi Kingston in an 8-man tag team match - **1/2
(The Primetime Players were on commentary for the match.)

BACKSTAGE - Rich Brennan tried to get a reaction from Kevin Owens before telling Owens that tonight he will be teaming with Seth Rollins to face a team of Cesaro and a partner of his choosing.

Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper come on-screen with a video message for Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns.

IN MEMORY OF "ROWDY" RODDY PIPER (1954-2015)

Raw opens with the WWE Locker room and the WWE Universe paying tribute to "Rowdy" Roddy Piper by tolling the bell 10 times before the bagpipes played in to the arena and a tribute video followed.

Seth Rollins comes to the ring and spoke of what happened last week when he broke the nose of John Cena, he then claimed that he would not let Cena beat him again, Rollins then challenged Cena to a title for title match at Summerslam where the winner takes both the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and the WWE United States Championship. Rollins mentioned that as San Jose was the site of John Cena's first ever United States Championship open challenge, tonight for the first time, it will be the WWE World Heavyweight Championship open challenge.

After the commercial, JoJo spoke to Rollins and questioned the legitimacy of the open challenge with Rollins claiming there are two caveats; his opponent must be under 6ft and weighs less than 200 pounds. The assumption was his opponent would be El Torito but instead it was the man that gravity forgot who answered the challenge.

2# Kofi Kingston, Big E & The Ascension bt. Lucha Dragons & Los Matadores in an 8-Man Tag Team match - **3/4
(The Primetime Players were on commentary for the match.)

3# Charlotte & Becky Lynch bt. The Bella Twins Via Submission - **3/4
(Post-match, JoJo gets the reaction from Team B.A.D about the submission sorority taking control of the divas division. Naomi said that she will make another statement tonight by challenging Paige, Naomi then made a comment regarding Ronda Rousey.)

After paying homage to "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, The Miz presents MIZ TV and bemoans Ryback not relinquishing the Intercontinental title. His guests tonight are Cesaro and Kevin Owens regarding their recent altercations, Owens claims his superiority before Cesaro claims he is ashamed of Owens disrespect. Cesaro is then ready for a fight until Owens leaves the ring, Owens does return to tease a fight but once again leaves the ring.

4# Rusev bt. Mark Henry - 3/4*
(Post-match, Rusev hits a 3rd superkick to the world's strongest man.)

Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper come on-screen and spoke about how "they" chose Roman Reigns, they said that without them then he is no different to anyone else and like everyone else, he chose wrong. Sheamus comes on-screen with them and has words for Randy Orton ahead of tonight's six man tag team main event.

5# King Barrett bt. Zack Ryder - *1/2

This Thursday Night on Smackdown we will see Mark Henry team with the WWE Tag Team Champions to face the New Day in a six man tag team match.

Paul Heyman is in the ring and he reminds us that it was the Undertaker who picked a fight with Brock Lesnar at Battleground, he then referred to Undertaker as Lesnar's submissive bitch when he comes up with the beast as the deadman becomes angry and vengeful because he has never beaten Lesnar. Heyman brought Lesnar to the ring who threw steel steps in it and stood on it, Heyman claimed that the WWE denied Undertaker the rematch at Wrestlemania after what happened last time they faced each other, Heyman then guaranteed than Undertaker is going to "Suplex City", as after Summerslam he will RIP at the hands of the conqueror.

6# Paige bt. Naomi Via Submission - **3/4

Stephen Amell will be the guest next week on Raw after his recent twitter war with Stardust came to a head after a recent facebook interview with Stardust.

Earlier this week, Michael cole sat down with Kevin Owens about the contract signing and the sincerity of his apology to the NXT General Manager, William Regal. Owens commented on how he wants a ladder match at Takeover to ensure their is no controversy as Regal openly said he did not want owens to win the title. When questioned whether he could beat Finn Balor, Owens left the interview.

We see another video of Bull Dempsey attempting to get "Bull-Fit".

2# Baron Corbin bt. Steve Cutler - SQUASH

BACKSTAGE - Bayley goes in to William Regal's office and wants an NXT Women's Championship match, Regal makes Bayley vs. Becky Lynch next week for the number 1 contendership.

3# Tyler Breeze defeated a local wrestler
(Post-match, Regal announced that at Takeover, Breeze will face Jushin "Thunder" Liger, we then saw a preview video of the legend himself.)

We see a preview video of Apollo Crews who will debut at NXT Takeover.

Earlier this week, Byron Saxton interviewed Finn Balor about what he did in the contract signing, Owens claimed that he fights for his family and Balor comments on his mindset after Owens injured Sami Zayn. Balor said that he will prove that Tokyo was not a fluke and we can expect the unexpected at Takeover.

(Post-match, Dawson and Wilder attack the Hype Bros and hit the "shatter machine".)

Rollins does a mock interview with a picture of Cena's face via satellite moments after he broke his nose two weeks ago, Cesaro interrupted proceedings and challenges Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tonight in an open challenge. Rollins declined the challenge and said that it was a one time deal last week, Owens comes to the ring as well as Randy Orton and both also want a title match, Rollins told them that he isn't defending the title tonight, the C.O.O of WWE, Triple H comes out and says that Cena is 50/50 at best for Summerslam which creates a problem. Triple H then makes Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens vs. Randy Orton in a triple threat match tonight and the winner will face Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in tonight's main event.

(Team PCB was on commentary for the match, post-match, Team B.A.D attacked Team Bella before a brawl broke out which ended with Team B.A.D going face to face with Team PCB.)

Big Show interrupts and claimed that Miz has no chance of winning before the big guy himself returned and goes face-to-face with the world’s largest athlete, Bryan threw Miz in the ring and Ryback took out both men with Ryback hitting Miz with the “meathook clothesline”.

We see a video highlighting Charlotte before it was announced it will be Team Bella vs. Team B.A.D vs. Team PCB in a 3-team elimination match at Summerslam.

(Lana took down Summer Rae but it was Rae who got the advantage as Rusev attacked the world’s strongest man, Summer Rae then applied the ‘accolade’ on to Lana.)

(Post-match, Stardust attacked Neville before pie-facing Stephen Amell who was sat at ringside, Amell then jumped the barrier and went for Stardust before being broken apart by security. Cesaro then came out to re-affirm that Rollins talks to much, Cesaro was then attacked from behind by Cesaro before Rollins powerbombed Neville in to the corner.

Bayley declared that she would not let this opportunity slip through her fingers whilst Banks spoke of her superiority, Bayley mentioned she has seen hundreds of WWE contract signings and is ready to end this one like those with a fight. Banks claimed that Bayley isn't worth it and her fairytale will end at Takeover, this sent Bayley in to a rage where she ran up the ramp and assaulted Banks, several officials attempted to separate them.

The lights go out and when they come on, Finn Balor is sat on the turnbuckle before both men fight with Balor hitting the Pele kick, Owens then dodged a ladder before Balor told Owens that he will kick Owens’ ass and shut his mouth this Saturday.
