Disappointed to take only one point at Pittodrie....could have scored 3 or 4 but failed to convert very decent chances. As for the penalty....that fucking prick Barry Robson seems to believe that pulling a jersey in the box shouldn't be a penalty and that the rules shouldn't be allowed in time added on. 'It doesn't look good for Scottish football with Rangers getting such a late penalty again'.....no words of condemnation from him for the idiot defender that did the shirt pulling...c***! AS was to be expected the MSM went into overdrive....BECAUSE IT WAS RANGERS..........ignoring the fact that Celtic the day before were awarded 2 penalties and have actually received more than Rangers....but shoosh, can't discuss that....more MSM shit!

On to last night against Limasol....poor display and only serve to enforce that Cifuentes and Lammers must be moved along ASAP...........a long time since I've seen 2 more lamentable football players than that pair! We managed a 1-1 draw but nowhere near good enough!

certainly are not.....just seemed not to enjoy a pressing, in your face style which Killie did well. Deserved result. As for us a few decent wins in the league and an unexpected but tremendous win in Spain last night which means we qualify for the Europa League knockout stages. Celtic got their only win in the CL section on Wednesday but was too little too late for them. Scottish League Cup Final Sunday coming against Aberdeen. Hope we really give them a doing.

Congratulations to you guys .

Sounds like a pretty one sided 1-0 win with Aberdeen not having a shot on goal

a vintage performance but majority of the possession and a deserved win. First silverware of the season and hopefully not the last. Great start overall by Clement however we really will have to have a fairly large clear out and new recruitment drive in the summer. Even better for us was the fact that Celtic dropped another 3 points on Saturday, this time at home against Hearts which means if we win our two games in hand we 'can' go top but I'm taking nothing for granted. Long way to go.

3 wins out of 4 since the cup final with the only defeat at parkhead against Celtic. 8 points behind with 2 games in hand. We had the chances to get a win against Celtic but unfortunately we were not clinical enough. We don't have a goal scoring striker and that is NOT good enough.

An expected win away at Dumbarton in the Scottish Cup the two very important wins on the road against Hibs and St Mirren leaves us 5 points behind Celtic with a game in hand. However our overall performances are far short of what Rangers fans expect.

New manager at Aberdeen.

Barry Robson sacked .

He kept blaming European football for their poor form but they have carried on being pretty average since going out so was always under pressure .

No sympathy for him. Jumped on the 'penalty to Rangers' bandwagon while ignoring the fact that Celtic, a previous club of his when playing, had actually been awarded more than Rangers. Cry me a river Barry you twat!

Massive game tonight after beating Livingston on Saturday and Celtic dropping 2 points against the sheep. Aberdeen at Ibrox and a win has us equal on points. We are goals short of them on GD so it is vital we try and score as many as poss and we could go top.

Well we didn't quite manage to go top but we were equal on points but Celtic squeezed ahead the following night by getting a win at Easter Road courtesy of two penalties.....what was that old fanny 'Penalty to rangers' ?....now Celtic have and have, for some some time, received more pens than Rangers but the tims and rest of Scottish football including the media have gone all shy on that eh. Seems that the snide comments don't apply to them. ? Bastards the lot of them. Anyway, we're at home tonight against Ross Cnty and a win and by at least 3 goals and we go top,

Weekend before last a slip up by Celtic at home to Killie with a draw then an away 0-3 victory for us at St Johnstone meant we went top by 2 points. An annihilation of Hearts at Ibrox Saturday past (5-0) and a Celtic win 1-3 at Motherwell means positions are still the same. Hopefully we stay there now!

beaten 1- 2 at home by Motherwell.....played terrible on the Saturday and presumed Celtic would win on the Saturday but thankfully Hearts beat them 2-1 at Tynecastle so we remain 2 points in front. Away to Benfica tomorrow then Hibs on Sunday in the Scottish Cup.

aye, was a better result over there which we could have won than getting beat at home. Still, last 16 wasn't bad. We beat Hibs in the cup and face Hearts in the semi final while Celtic face Aberdeen in the other. Not counting chickens but could be another cup final. One point behind Celtic in the league due to our game at Dundee being cancelled on Sunday thanks to their shite drainage system. Think it was the only top level game in the UK called off because of a bit of rain...Fourth time this season!

Well the league was in our own hands but looks like we have blown it big time....Drawing with fucking Dundee and losing to Ross County and a draw against Celtic were disastrous. We are playing unacceptable football at the moment and albeit we Hearts to reach the cup final out play has been utter shite. Even if we beat Celtic at Parkhead it matters not a jot because they have a better goal difference. We had the league coming to us and threw it away. Big changes needed in the playing staff.

You don't seem to get enough goals and often rely on two or three players.

Shame as I don't think Celtic have been at their best either.

Celtic will be just 1 league title away from Rangers 55 titles if they win it this season and my money is on them in no short measure to Ranger's generosity. However Celtic have been way below Ange's form with Brendan. My Celtic supporting son-in-law reckons its down to the board's tightarsedness. This must change next season.

Well that's it over and done with.....we had it and threw it away...BIG TIME. Celtic's attitude over the season has been far better than ours....they have deserved to win the league. I have 'always' said that whichever team wins the league is the best for that season....no complaints from this corner.

Meant to say.........Roll on the cup final....perhaps get a much needed win against Celtic in that game. Not taking anything for granted though.

Killer was the loss at Ross County really but they also won 3 of the 4 Old Firm games too I guess.

Problem in the games against Celtic was, imo, we allowed them to play their game instead of disrupting. Stood back to often and allowed them to progress without challenge and if you do that then they will hurt you. Rangers showed, albeit in glimpses, that we can better them but as so often this season the attitude was rotten and we need a goal scoring striker because Dessers is not the answer.

It would appear that Celtic and Rangers are now at 117 trophies each.

SPL 54/55
S/Cup 42/34
L/ Cup 21/28

Correct me if I'm wrong.
And I believe Rangers had a 10 year start.

A poor end to the season. The cup final was basically 50/50 and if our goal had been allowed to stand then it was a fair shout that we could have gone on to win but it wasn't to be. I'm not going to labour the point but I have stated repeatedly all over the shop as to how I despise VAR and its inconsistency and how I believe it is ruining the game but..........Rangers score but VAR tells the ref to review for a possible foul on Hart. Replays show Raskin 'slightly' touched Hart, who of course made the most of it, and going by the rules it was a foul........However, and here is where VAR is simply the opinion of humans, watch from about 1 minute in...and just before Raskin touches Hart Greg Taylor the Celtic defender has his arms all around Raskin impeding him. Now if Walsh sees a foul on Hart how the fuck did he NOT see the foul on Raskin which happened BEFORE he touched Hart ? If he gives a foul on Hart he surely MUST go back and give a foul against Taylor ? The ref went back for quite a time in play due to VAR intervention to knock off a Rangers goal at Ibrox earlier in the season so why did he not go back further than he did in the final ?

VAR is generally too subjective which as you say means more controversy and less consistency than ever .

Season 24/25 kicking off tomorrow and I must say I am not optimistic about winning the league. I have seen absolutely nothing in the friendly games that looks like a team with confidence. So far they look like a bunch of strangers and still we persist with Cyriel Dessers up front.

we aint been looking too hot since the start of the season but I've watched Celtic a few times and they have been good. Old firm game at Parkhead today....obviously hoping for a result but I can't see Celtic losing. Tbh I think we'd be lucky if we came away with a draw.
