Wrexham Lager is being brewed again (original brewery closed in 2000 I think), the new brewers have been selling it since around 2011, it's still shit!
It is rank IMO, but people round here drink it and pretend they like it because it is seen as the thing to do.

On the other hand Bootlegger pilsner is actually really good, it is made in same brewery. They've struck gold with that brew creating it during lockdown and the marketing around it.

The Wrexham lager pints are naff but the Wrexham Export bottles are fine. Similar to the Bootlegger, though I prefer the Bootlegger.

I try to drink it where I can, as most places don't have a whole lot better to offer and at least I'm supporting a decent local business I suppose.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Curzon probably sold between 75-100 but deserve a lot more than that as they offer a superb deal (but simply cannot grow with Man City 6 tram stops away)

surprised others are not using the online sales method to do similar deals. You buy a membership for a fiver then get a discount code, either to give you all season for £100 or each home match for £5 ….£105 in total if taking in all games but season ticket prices with flexibility for people who cannot do all games. Usual ticket price £15 so a massive saving……kids free of course.

I've also had both the Export and Bootlegger, according to my records I preferred the Export with the Bootlegger scoring the same as the basic Wrexham Lager.

Our general sale opens at 9am today, there were around 50 at the ground at 6am despite the fact you can purchase online.

Could get rather hectic.

Allegedly 6,000 sold thus far (based on peoples order numbers), with another 1,000 expected throughout the general sales.... mental

These were the attendances i remember when I first started watching when we were a Div 2 & 3 team, the atmosphere is going to be electric.

No chance it's 6000.

The stadium map makes it out to be nowhere near that.

Just bought mine online very easy with no problems

Yeah mine took 2 minutes, if that. Nice and easy.

People saying 6000 sold are getting carried away, looking at the seating map. That said, we had sold around 2k renewals before general sale opened. Its going to be a good number, I am often unavailable on a matchday so don't usually have a ST but I didn't want to risk their being issues with matchday tickets.

Might hire my ST out for the glamour matches like Kings Lynn and Wealdstone if I can't go.

The first 2 home games will probably be season ticket only due to the work being done on the ER Stand.

We will sell at least 6k I think because people are honestly panic buying season tickets.

they have said that any tickets left for general sale will be prioritised for club members first, so i am hoping that i can buy two with that, as my dad didnt sign up to it when registration was free (OAP)

Well I just got called a Knob because I suggested issues were more likely to be users IT than Ticketmaster itself.

Can't wait to get back amongst football fans. Lovely people, not at all irrational.

At least they are buying on the expectation of winning games, rather than in Lincoln's case of turning up when they won a few.
That's correct. First half of their promotion season they were getting about 3k on average.

As well as the making on RP there are loads of people on twitter going on about what a shambles it is. Sort the website out etc.

The issue is either the fact that Ticketmaster doesn't seem to like Mastercard. Or it's the IT or browser the people trying to access the site are using.

People eh?

Can't sell 7000. You won't get everyone I'm for the first 2 games.

Reckon 5k will be the absolute maximum.

6000 sold already… have a day off

The amount of random figures being thrown about on this thread from Wrexham fans shows no one knows how many have actually been sold

People are getting a bit carried away because of their registration numbers on Ticketmaster which are well into the 6ks but its nowhere near that. We will sell quite a lot though this year.

For the first two home games we will only have 2 stands open so going to be a bit intimate for those games.
