Just wondering how other clubs are approaching season ticket sales this season, I couldn't see a a thread so I have opened a new one.
If Mods feel my post below should be i a different thread, please feel free to shift it.
Rotherham have decided not to sell any season tickets until normal crowds are allowed back.
Instead, all 2019-20 season ticket holders (and half season) can purchase a Flexi option for a one off payment of £25.
You then are given the option of forming a bubble (max number still being discussed with EFL/Gov)
If you pay your £25 you then get the option to purchase tickets at normal match day prices.
Obviously, with such a small capacity ground (12000) we will be limited to around 3000 home supporters.
We usually sell around 6000 season tickets, so if everyone takes up the Flexi option, that probably relates to being able to attend every other game.
All last season's season ticket holders will be able to reclaim their seats when things return to normal, irrespective of whether or not they take up the Flexi option.
Any spare tickets will be open to the general roll up on the day support. (Not likely)
The Flexi option also gives you a 10% discount at the Club Shop.
Presumably everyone will have to pay for i Follow but that's fair enough as you can watch at home and share the cost with your bubble family.
It's a different solution to the impossible situation that clubs find themselves in.
In general it seems to be well received, apart from of course, by the Milllers fans who like to moan about owt.
