We've comfortably surpassed 16,000 now. Early bird has passed. No tickets left in SBR lower.

At the end of the early bird pricing we finished on 5577 season tickets sold with around 550 corporate/hospitality on top of that so overall over 6k which is the highest since 2008 when we flogged them at £200 each trying the Bradford model.

Those are really pleasing numbers from us. Given where the club was at one point under Smurthwaite it feels like the support base is growing by the season, you can see it round the city now. Has helped that Stoke have been in a rut for a while as well to be fair. One of the great benefits of going up by the playoffs is the potential new support we will have picked up. It only takes a few of those day-trippers to suddenly become captured and that makes a big difference. The corporate side of things is really encouraging also. Vale should make a very tidy sum from that going forward as well.

Wife was moaning about the kit launch queues to pick up the shirt (she doesn't go games) and I was explaining this is the new Port Vale! Its busy, pleasing to see how many kids there and all positive, we lost that generation of Stoke 2008er's with them being in the Premier League so to get the young ones today coming it only a good thing.

Hopefully we can do something similar to Lincoln and keep the day trippers from our recent success and build the club fan base.

Excellent pricing and considerably cheaper than previously published (and redacted) when CK was due to takeover.

A lot of fans are extremely happy with the pricing levels. The one lump sum will impact things, but fingers crossed that can be resolved in time. I think most are happy to just get money into the club ASAP.

No monthly direct debit option as most clubs have will hurt their number of sales I think.

We've just passed 12k, which is surprising given the feeling of discontent amongst the fanbase through muted ambition emanating from the club. Cut off for Early Bird is Friday i think.

If we suddenly go on a spending spree (and actually sign a striker) there may be another small surge, but think we'll end up around the 13-13.5k. We've generally limited ST's to 14.5k but don't think we'll hit that this year.

Feel for Derby fans. I remember at the peak of one of our dodgy ownerships, ST's were cash only and it wasn't even clear if we'd start the season.

I had a look at 10:40 (40 minutes after season tickets went on sale) and 21,500 were allocated - it will include renewals still outstanding of course, but demand is even higher than I imagined.

It does include them I believe. The new hospitality area I think it’s around £650 or thereabouts, if remember rightly there was a waiting list for it. Seats an additional 125 per matchday as indicated toward the bottom of this article. Shouldn’t take long to make up the £500k outlay if including functions etc.

Just over 500 it adds around 100 to it. Main reason the stand has taken longer than the Sagrida Familia to build is we put the two layers of boxes which spiralled the cost along with the mine shaft issue but in fairness they’ve made it work.

The ground it having big money spent on it finally with new turnstiles and a new training centre (before the players changed in the home dressing room but they want match day to be unique rather than going where you go daily).

Carol and Kevin have put their money in and not just been talk which is great for us, hopefully you guys under similar owners can enjoy the same rebirth. They seem good guys with a similar heart to Carol.

1878 are only able to scratch the surface after over 20 years of underinvestment, Blundell Park really needs either a complete rebuild or we need a new stadium. At the moment, they are doing incremental improvement to improve the fan experience. Don't think they expected us to bounce back so quickly from the toughest league in the world (well- relatively at least) and now we'll have a full house just about every week.

Not complete yet, it was open for the Robbie Williams concert as you don’t need the concourse for that but not for football as yet. I’m pretty sure there is a media room and possibly still the gym where the concourse will be.

I am pleased how we are doing, 9,000 is very good for us. But why be abusive about a local rival? Like it or not Exeter are a well run club. Yes, in most years they won’t be as big or successful as us, but I say more power to their elbow. Better a club that lives within its means and has a track record of bringing on youngsters, than a club that spend more money than they have and then when they go into admin leaves loads of local businesses way out of pocket. If all clubs followed their (and our) lead this league would be much more of a financial level playing field.
