Hmm, Epic has me as not answering the African football or farm animal questions.
Checking the pm I sent him I did somehow not answer the farm animal question (meant to put sheep), but I did answer the African team with Ivory Coast.

If you expect me to be on 1FF answering everything you ask me every minute of my day, sorry. I apologize for the African team question, can't edit it thanks to 1FF being weird but maybe a mod can.

I'm trying to make it better. It's not my fault that I couldn't post a few times, nor is it that I can't edit posts. I'm stepping away now if nobody objects as it feels like I'm incompetent and being attacked for every time I mess up anything.

So, in light of recent events, and the need for this forum staple to be saved from dying a horrible death, a Sheep HoF'er in myself is stepping forward with a rescue plan.

I've been away from Sheep for a while and what better way to return than as host.

The questions for Round 1 will be up tomorrow at 7pm.

Let's have a show of hands to gauge interest so I know a rough number of participants.

Round 1 will be standard sheep, I have some twists lined up for future rounds though.

ROUND 1.

2. A muscle in your torso?
3. A character from Cars that isn't Lightning McQueen or Mater?
4. A shape of pasta?
5. A flavour of syrup that you'd put in a latte?
6. A Tom Hardy film?
7. A French word for 'Good' that isn't 'Bien'?
8. This seasons National League Play Off Winners?
9. A style of shoe?
10. A Scottish Football team that plays in stripes that isn't Celtic?

DEADLINE IS 8PM ON SATURDAY!!

13 sets of answers in so far in under 12 hours so not bad going.

Hoping for at least 25-30 as I think any less than that is a disappointing turnout.
Will start tagging past players if it looks like we're not gonna achieve that number.

Looking like a decent set of first questions (Hopefully?) as there's only 1 clear Sheep at the minute, and a few questions in particular that answers vary greatly for.

Thinking of trying to build an online Sheep tool at work for everyone to use in future games...dunno how it would be received on here though, and ideally I'd want it incorporating into the forum so it was for 1FF use only.....

Thoughts?

Eh....is this going to be complicated to computery dullards like me mate ? Wouldn't poo poo it without knowing more mind you.

I think there is an online scoring tool that some people have used in running previous seasons but something inbuilt to 1FF if it was possible and didn't take too much effort to set up sounds like a fantastic idea

No, it'd be user friendly. Pretty simple to code tbh but would need to check about compatibility on here before going ahead as wouldn't want it apart from the forum tbh Leo mate.

Would make it easier though as you'd just enter the answers in a simple front end, and would give password access to the backend for whoever is running the current season to pull the numbers from.

I agree mate, I'd happily do the coding, but would be.down to TB or Rad to see if it was possible to implement as part of the forum.

There is this tool but if you feel you can make an improved one, by all means, go for it!

It's just a Scoring Tool Jade if it's the one I've used previously.

Ideally this would be host and user compatible, with a front and back end.
