Brighton are so much better than Wednesday its untrue. But what's that saying about I'd rather be lucky than good...

Can Aiden McGeady not even get a game for Sheff Weds now or is he injured?
Not getting in the side. Was awful at our place, taken off at HT

How we're still 2 up in this tie is unreal, took an absolute pasting in that first half. We're not keeping hold of the ball like we usually do, just aimlessly knocking it up towards Hooper who isn't going to beat Dunk in the air, need to up the tempo a bit second half they will leave gaps as the game goes on which we can take advantage of. Would probably consider putting Nuhiu on at half time.

If Hooper had scored that Brighton should've just gone home there and then

They say the team who wins the play offs gets lucky along the way, hoping we haven't used it all up.

Well that was torture for Wednesday fans, second half far better and we really restricted Brighton's opportunities. Far from one of our best displays but got to give credit to Brighton that first half was electric and they gave it a real good go. 90 minutes away from the Premier League, unreal!

Wonderful match with both teams contributing. I feel for Brighton missing out on GD and then losing four players to injury within the hour in the first game.

That said they gave it a go tonight but Wednesday held firm, had some luck and grew stronger as the game went on.

Well played The Owls and best of luck at Wembley.

89 points and not promoted then beaten by a side who finished sixteen points behind them.. plus all the injuries they faced.. I would feel for them but I remember 2004 so swings and roundabouts suckers! ;)

Big blow for Brighton. I do wonder if they'll get a better chance in a while, especially with teams like Newcastle and Norwich coming down.

Fair play to Wednesday, I actually fancy them to beat Hull or Derby to be honest, most likely Hull. They are quiet suited to Hull but a little more dynamic IMO.

Out of Derby and Hull I'd rather we get Hull we haven't beaten Derby for about 10 years biggest bogey side going. Plus I'd fancy us to beat them.

I think you're pretty safe. Imagine the tie will finish 5-0 on agg.

Great game last night but got to feel for Brighton over the 2 legs. 4 injuries and having to play with 10 men in the first leg, then give it a right good go in the 2nd leg and get themselves back into the tie before a pretty poor decision to allow the Wednesday goal knocks the stuffing out of them.

That said, I would love for Wednesday to make a return to the PL so here's hoping they can get the job done now

I've enjoyed the first 15 here, good tempo.

Feel like Hull have the "big match" experience in their team but Forestieri is an absolute dangerman isn't he? Wallace and Bannan can score from anywhere too. Intriguing encounter, can see this beanpole in the Hull goal having a big say.
