Think Bristol City will sneak a 1-2 with a last minute goal. Deja vu.

Bristol City scoring late goals.
What late goals?

Owlstalk really batting one out at the moment after a home draw against Millwall, predictable win against a poor Barnsley and a helpful-for-the-other-promotion-challengers win against Villa. 'We should win easily against the likes of Bristol City 3-0' amongst the unchallenged comments.

Personally I dont see why we should lose only our third match of the season against Wednesday. 1-1.

Don't see much in Wednesdays squad to fear. Reckon we will come away with a point at least

You score lots of late goals, more so last season.

We drew with Barnsley and beat Millwall Scott.

Great stat from a Wednesday fan on OTIB. We took 4,600 up there in 2004 and a total of 4,800 in 7 visits since.
Our away support north of the Mem is total crap unless there is a bandwagon to jump on. At 1,000 or less, Saturdays crowd falls firmly in the former.

Left back. It was a new position for him last season, and you're right he was being slated. At times he was awful. This season I doubt there's a better left back in the league. He's been ridiculously good. Won't be here next season if we don't go up. I can only put that down to Jamie Mac coming on to the coaching staff.

Bryan is good but I think Barry Douglas is better. We play him as a wing back but he played LB for his ex clubs. 1 goals and 6 assists so far this season, and he's missed 4 games through injury. Most clean sheets in the league too.

Odd sort of career to date at the age of 28 if he is the best left back in the Championship.

Odd, because he didn't stay in Britain for all of his career like most domestic based players? He won League and cup titles in Poland for Lech Poznan and won the Turkish Cup last season. Multiple seasons in the Europa League too...

Baker, Bryan, Paterson and Reid would all get into Wednesday's team currently. I'm hardly the most biased and watch a lot of Wednesday as well as City. I'd like to say Pisano as well but Hunt has been part of a defence that's been solid for the last two years largely.

Reach didn't cost 5M and Carlos has said it was quite a bit less earlier this season.

As for the game, big game for us as another 3 points sees us gain more ground on the teams above and puts us well back into the play off picture, Bristol City will be a tough team to get the points from though considering the form and momentum behind them. If we play like we did at Villa I think we win, play like we did against Bolton, Birmingham and United and we won't get anything apart from a beating, it's time to start showing some consistency. Having Loovens back in the defence has made a huge difference, Butterfield alongside Bannan seems to offer a better balance, then Hooper and Rhodes looking good together is promising. Same team as Villa with hopefully the same result.

Where would Reid fit? He's not better than Rhodes or Hooper, Paterson I liked at Walsall but his career isn't great is it.

So I named five players from about a year ago, two of which aren't yours.

Pretty sad you dug through old posts though Jordan.

Hopefully I'll be smug on here Saturday evening.

Where would Reid fit? As the divisions top scorer up front, Rhodes couldn't even get into your team until a couple of games ago so don't pretend that Reid wouldn't get into your side ahead of him.

Paterson was up for POTS at Huddersfield and has been outstanding this season, most assists in Europe until he got injured.

It's not that I dug through posts looking for something, I just happened to remember that particular post.

I'd hope that you'd be out enjoying yourself if you win, though if we get something I'm sure I'll find time to pop on and quote your posts on here about us getting nowt etc etc.

Mobile internet is great mate, I can post from the pub.

Reid isnt top scorer in league games though, that's Bonatini, Rhodes didn't get in due to Fletcher/Hooper partnership but has earned his place and remains one of the best finishers in the division, form is temporary.
