I think it's the biggest game in the division this season, massive derby.

Will watch this with great interest, it's as fierce a rivalry as ours is with Rovers, proper same city hatred. Wednesday vs United is bigger as two bigger clubs but two great fixtures.

Game will probably be scrappy as derbies always are, 1-0 Wednesday.

I fear we will lose just gotta hope they ain't at there best and the luck is with us on the day.

Sat here now and the nerves are starting to creep in. One of the lads nipped in for a beer earlier and mentioned it, he’s a Leeds fan though and couldn’t understand how I was feeling about it, was saying it’s just the same as Leeds vs Man Utd. But I suppose those that are not involved in same city derbies will never actually know what they’re like and this one, without doubt is one of the fiercest rivalries this country has to offer. A blade text me earlier about going to the pub tomorrow afternoon, I know full well if we lose there’s no way I’ll be able to face up to them. That’s said it’s been a hell of a long time and I can’t wait, just praying for the right result

I know 50% of me eagerly anticipating it, other 50% dreading it.
I was alot less worried at the last 6 or 7 Derbies, probably because we started them as underdogs.
Have to say at this moment in time, despite undoubtedly having the players I would happily take a draw.

I’ve been thinking the same, at home against Any other side in the league I’d expect a win, tomorrow I’ll accept a draw and not because I think they’re better than us but just because I can’t face losing it. We’ve gone on for years about how it’ll be great to have this game back but it’s only ever great for the winner, at this moment in time I’m shitting bricks

Yep, I'm really looking forward to this game even though I don't care who wins. One of the top derby games in the country without a doubt.

Got a soft spot for both clubs and the city in general, as a neutral I'm looking forward to this over any other championship fixture by a mile.

My prediction is a Wednesday win and if they take the lead early enough the class difference could tell, that been said the money will be staying in my pocket today as with derbies you never know. Plus Utd have got off to a flyer this season, which shocks me seeing their forward line Chris Wilder must just be a genius.

8 games so far we've scored 1st in 5 and won all 5 we've conceded 1st in 3 and lost all 3 without scoring, praying for the 1st goal.

Yes class difference, Wednesday have the better individuals. It's early days so what if it hasn't shown so far. I only expect one Sheffield team to be in the top 6 come the end of the season when it actually matters, and they don't play in red and white. That said I wouldn't mind seeing your lot choke again and letting them into 6th.

Never seen Hillsborough corner as busy, absolute chaos. Woke up this morning with my stomach doing somersaults but a few pints have settled it down a tiny bit, hoping for a celebration afterwards. Come on Wednesday!!

Just heard the line up.

We’re very weak up front, most of our strikers are injured.
Seem to be playing only 1 up front and Sharp is only the sub. also no Duffy.

We’re normally positive but It’s a more defensive formation, in fact it’s the most negative formation Wilder has ever started with whilst being our manager.

We seem to be setting our stall out to be solid and frustrate Wednesday. Probably won’t be the open entertaining match that I predicted.

I’d take a draw now.

It always makes for a better game when both clubs have not played each other for a few years.

0-2 United.

Too easy, ball over top to Clarke who sticks it in infront of the kop. That lad Brooks looks a good player, tearing Wednesday a new one.

Wednesday's defence is far too high up the pitch, United exploiting it time and time again. Could end up being a cricket score.
