First time in 13 years we've turned around a two goal deficit to win, in the league anyway.

I missed that one, I walked out at half time as we were truly fucking awful.

Trust it to be us. We'll be the ones to kickstart Derby's season on Saturday as well, it's fucking frustrating.

Says alot that I'm more optimistic after reading OTIB than after reading your posts. I haven't felt that bad after a loss since Hull in the play off final I reckon. I need positivity JJH.

I've had enough of the negative feeling. We've shown we can compete. Just need to cut out the stupid errors. Give me some positives JJH, you can do it.......

I tried last night mate, and it backfired horrendously. I've learnt from my mistakes.

Actually, BCFC David, I do have a positive thought to share with you.

I was mulling over the game for the 100th time on my ride home earlier thinking about how hard done we were last night, but then I thought of Burton and Wigan earlier this season. Burton were better than us for 90 minutes, Wigan were better than us first half, we were just more potent in both games and our quality shone through in the end. Wednesday did the same thing happened to us last night, even though we were the victims of our own downfall by missing the penalty. We're better than Wigan and Burton, not as good as Wednesday yet, but we're not far away ask Walkley_Owl and others Wednesday fans thought we would be. No shame in that, but the future is bright.

In LJ we trust and all that...

I'm sticking with my prediction of 6th, I just have a feeling we are going to achieve something this season. Don't ask why, as I'm not the most optimistic. And as you mentioned stupid fuck ups like last night and Rotherham arnt going to cut it. But I don't buy into this talk of being happy with mid-table. This league is only going to get harder, and with us guaranteed to lose Tammy next season I think we should be looking to set our sights high.

How's that for fucking positivity.

This may change as another howler gives Derby the win.

You'll flirt with the top six but ultimately fall away as I don't think you have the defence or keeper to make the difference.

Be interesting to see how LJ reacts if you have a bad run, he couldn't change it around at Barnsley.

Don't buy the mid-table finish being a success either. If a few players have fantastic seasons, they go to the Premier League, and no Tammy next season.

O'Donnell's been a bit shaky ever since he joined, but he started the season superbly until last Saturday. Shame. We showed what we're capable of last night though, three changes and it sounded like we were superb in the first half.

He lost 7 on the bounce didn't he? Then won the next 7 (figures completely made up but it was something like that) so he did turn it around. Hence he got the call from us.

Was that your prediction that we wouldn't score a goal...?

1-1 in the OP. See for yourself.
After seeing the lineup, you predicted we wouldn't score a goal and that we would get battered in the shout box.

This is what I was basing it off, you told Dave to ignore me when I said Wednesday to beat us could be a dodgy one and we weren't going to score.

Well I was right wasn't I? You told Dave not to include Wednesday in his bet, I said that he definitely should.

Given the game itself it was hardly a dead cert for an accumulator though was it, if Tomlin had score his penalty we'd have won, then we concede in the 6th minute of extra time, was hardly a convincing win.

Yeah but Dave was asking how likely it would be for a Wednesday win, hardly the drubbing you were predicting to lose with the last kick, its the sort of game you have where if the rest are coming in you cash out because you think you'll lose.

So you guys like Tammy then? Really hope he gets a chance with us. Would be nice to actually have any young players play for us who played in our youth teams :/

More than the 5 or so appearances the likes of RLC will get a season anyway

yeah, he's great. Natural finisher at the age of 18, he'll have a great career in the top flight if he stays injury-free, whether that be with Chelsea or not.

Reading? Can't remember any since then. Can straight away think of twice where we have been 2 up and lost since then. Add onto that the time we went 3 - 1 up in the 90th minute and just held on for a draw. Going back further I can also remember 3 other high profile games (for us) where once we have lost from 2 up and twice thrown away a 3 goal lead to draw (1 we would have lost except for a last minute penalty equaliser.) So our record isn't great. Can still vaguely recall a 5 - 4 comeback against Charlton to offset these, but generally we seem to be on the wrong end of great comebacks.
