Well....unless they change the rules to allow four clubs to be relegated, you've only got one choice to make.

Feel sorry for Howe though - he's had some dreadful luck with injuries.

Bournemouth or Norwich I think. Watford and West Brom will grind out enough results, Newcastle are just a little bit better than the others.

Newcastle are in there at the moment but will come good under Mr. Umbrella and finish middtable, or just below that. Bournemouth or Norwich for me. I'll go for the latter. I suspect Watford will drop down from where they currently are and factor in it, but will escape. They're doing very well so far.

18 Norwich
19 Villa
20 Sunderland

Quite amused that no-one has yet suggested that Sunderland and Villa are going to survive.
It's enough to make me kind of hope that Birmingham City, Wolves, Walsall and Coventry are all promoted at the end of this season.

For many in the West Midlands, a Villa v Walsall November Tuesday night League game would be the highlight of the 2016/17 season.

It's between Bournemouth and Norwich for the final relegation spot. I think Chelsea will survive, but only just.

Stoke or Newcastle might just have enough but my tip is the baggies. think they will take a nose dive .......like the fans but hate the manager.

Leave Brum and Wolves in the Championship, then Villa can finish bottom of that mini division next season*

*Cov can only come up through the POs after us and Warsaw

It'll be a fight between the three promoted clubs come end of the season. Villa to stay up, Norwich and Bournemouth to go down.

Bournemouth is the obvious one as they're well short up front thanks to their injuries. But you can always leave it until April before you go on a good run to stay up, so it's very early days. This time last year nobody would have even thought of Newcastle to go down, but 1 John Carver later and they went dangerously close. Plenty of time for some serious capitulation from plenty of clubs.

If we can end up losing a home game in which we have 60% possession, 20 shots and 16 corners, with the opposition having one shot, then we are very deep in trouble unfortunately.

Still, we've got Chelsea soon. Hopefully Jose will stick around... Swansea up next after the break as well.

Sadly I'd say we're done for, with probably only one or two games this season we've shown our potential

Judging by my FB feed following Villa's 0-0 win against Man City yesterday, Remy Garde will have them in the Eurpoean spaces by Christmas

Unless it was a deliberate piss take of the Villa marketing dept's stupidity.

I think Bournemouth can JUST survive. Like, maybe on alphabetical order.

18 Chelsea, because that would be hilarious and they have a genuine chance.
19 Sunderland, because Sunderland.
20 Villa, because they've only won 1 so far.

If RemI doesn't succeed at Villa, I'm sure Rowett would jump at the chance to manage Villa, the team he's loved since childhood.

*TBH I'm still confused at the title of that piece.

I am sure it has already been discussed to death on H&V, but just for clarity...

“I have got pictures of me as a kid in a Leeds United strip, a Villa strip, in a Wolves strip - any kit you can imagine. If you are playing every Saturday, as soon as you are an apprentice, you are looking at your own team. My team kind of changed and fluctuated as I got older. Now what I tend to do, from over the last 20 years, is follow the teams I played for. I looked out for Blues results, I look for Derby’s results, Cambridge’s results, Everton’s results. That’s what you do.”

Don't think both Villa and Sunderland will drop, but wouldn't like to say which will survive. Chelski definitely staying up. Unsure why Watford aren't included, as they're level on points with Stoke. Swansea seem to be struggling, so maybe them along with Bournemouth.
