According to BBC Sport a pheasant invaded the pitch at Bromley! How did a pheasant get in the grounds at all, let alone on the pitch?!

We need 10 points now for play-offs and I think we'll just miss out. It's not over yet but can't see us getting anything on Friday at Tranmere then we'll get Ricky Miller'd on Easter Monday then it'll be over.

Can't believe everyone's talking about Tranmere instead of our long ball 1-0 DEMOLITION of Guiseley who fortunately play no-one up front.
Very surprising line up but they all did OK in a workmanlike win. I missed the red card incident view blocked by the dug-outs. Home fans spitting feathers but bloke I take at his word reckons clear elbow right in front of the ref. Guiseley threatened more with ten.

Sounds like we were reffed out once again today after Delano Sam-Yorke's late goal was ruled out. It's quite clear the National League doesn't want 'unpopular' part-timers like us in the division anymore. First the Braintree decision and now this. We're being reffed out of this league and there is nothing we can do about it.

Garry Hill explains all here: https://audioboom.com/posts/5799263...hill-bemoans-refereeing-decisions-this-season

Would have taken a point at kick off but three points today would have proved invaluable and we definitely had our chances, a pen shout that I've definitely seen given in the past and Verma missed an absolute sitter first half. Aldershot goal came from a period of play which started with them refusing to give us the ball back when we threw it out for an injury, if you have to cheat like that to get a draw against us you're gonna struggle in the play offs, that's for sure! Looked a nasty one for Cole at the end and was screaming for Reidy to have a pop at goal from the free kick in injury time with Rendell in Goal but he stupidly floated it backpost to no one.
Only able to name 4 subs today, one was our manager and the other was a kid that is just in the squad to collect the balls at the end of training, had 2 go off injured too, yet GI this week claim we have a top half budget, they must be having a laugh. Heart says we'll stay up but Head says we haven't got enough in the squad to cope with injuries and that will prove our downfall.

Crap ground and who's idea was it to stick us in the open air stand despite charging us for a covered terrace ticket, near impossible to make noise in that stand and they ran out of bottled water before half time in that heat yet wouldn't let us stand in the sheltered away end.

I don't get this whole seeing Aldershot as strong promotion candidates thing. They may still get in the playoffs (crucial game v Dover) but surely Tranmere or Lincoln would beat them over two legs.

Not sure why all the Lincoln fans are saying we can't be bothered. We're in a relegation battle. York will come to us and beat us easily on Friday. We were even worse than I expected.

We have had 5,000 regular supporters since 1988.

You have had 5,000 regular supporters since February 2017.

Compare and contrast.
I know you're not being entirely serious but the last 'successful' season we had was 2006/07 when we were challenging for automatic promotion from L2 until February/March and our average attendances then were more than they are now.

Since then, we've failed to finish in the top half of a league season, so the last 4 or 5 years of attendances actually aren't the 'norm'. Yes, obviously there are bandwagon jumpers, but not as many as people think.

Not sure what is going on at Chester they looked absolutely awful today, the match earlier in season at Bootham Crescent they looked a very good team and thought they would easily get in play offs,
Good job for them they have 52 points.plus see they have to play Woking and that is not good news for teams at bottom.

Ideally you'll lose at Tranmere then Beat Dover... because we're due to have Byron Harrison back on Friday after 3 months out injured. If he can score like before we might actually win the next 3 games against Bromley, NFU and Braintree (if we can keep 10 men on the pitch) and if you've taken 3 points off Dover, but lost at Tranny then it could still be winner takes all in Barrow v Dover on the last day... one can but dream....

Your players were going down "injured" every time you lost the ball in the 2nd half, even the referee looked at one of your players and got fed up with your antics. When Kanu went down with cramp after we equalised we played on with 10 men while he sat at the side of the pitch. The incident with the throw in, I think we assumed gamesmanship from you because your keeper held the ball wasting time for 20 seconds before eventually throwing it out.

Strange game yesterday, Macc were dominant in the early periods and took the lead through a decent strike but woeful marking. Not sure on the goalkeepers positioning for the free kick but well executed by Gutteridge.

Second half we dominated and could have score more. Certain penalty and red card duly dispatched by Whiteley. Third goal was decent wing play cross and bundled home by Maguire-Drew from what looked like poor defending. He then saved the best til last sublime chip from 25 yards, home fans clapped that one.

Overall think Macc lack a decent striker, was impressed with the bald midfielder Whittiker? As for us 3 more wins and play offs confirmed. Wood, Sutton, Wrexham and Woking to come.

Still missing 3 of our best players all likely to be out for the season.

Have a day off, Chaney went down holding his hamstring and was clearly in distress, and he went off 2 minutes later after attempting to carry on, Youngy also went down with an injury and 5 minutes later had to be subbed, (they only tried to carry on considering our subs were the manager, the ball boy and two strikers!) no gamesmanship at all. Your refusal to put the ball out I can take because it's not in the laws of the game, but then once we put it out and you refuse to give it back that's just cheating and if you need to do that to draw with a team in the bottom 4 you'll get ripped apart in the play offs.

Give your brain a chance son, Chaney went down and your lot played on, it was only when you lost the ball did one of your lot smashed Cheye Alexander to get the game stopped. When Young went down the ref lost patience and booked him, after your keeper held the ball for about 20 seconds before putting it out. The only reason there was 8 minutes stoppage time was for the horrific Gulls time wasting.

Neither Lincoln or Tranmere have beaten us this season, granted the second leg is Friday, but we are 3-1 up from the first:bg::bg:. Id fancy us against either of them, its FGR I'd like to avoid

Youngy was booked for the Foul he committed in getting injured actually and Chaney injured himself passing it to your player, your centre half then played it to your right back,(not one Torquay player touched the ball in that time) mensah/Kanu actually told him to put it out but he ignored him and eventually Verma did the correct thing and went through the unsporting bastard, like I said you lot will get turned over in the play offs, very ordinary side, lack a proper centre midfield who struggled against Verma Damo and Youngy

Chester could be top of the league with 100 points and we'd still go there and win. We always do. It's THE LAW.

If that was the case Railway Blue would still be leaving early and moaning about how crap they are.
