5 consecutive clean sheets away from home, impressive given how shit or defence had been of late, and fair play to Mignolet, he's gone from being shit to very good in the space of three quartets of a season. Southampton reasonably played well but it means jack shit if you don't find the net. That was the difference today. Fantastic strike from Coutinho. The guy is gradually becoming one hell of a player.

And people calling for Mignolet to be sent off, I thought Carragher and Henry had it spot on at half time. It hit his chest in the area then onto his hand just outside, which he couldn't do much about. Would have been very harsh. It was also so close it would have been very difficult to call in real time.

It works both ways, he was terrific for us, Saints were terrific towards him. He treated the club like shit when he left.

People have been asking if Kevin Friend is from Portsmouth given his performance in this game but given that he sent off one of our players and gave the opposition a penalty in his first four games he reffed for us, I can safely say he's simply just a terrible referee.
