Nope and he hasn't. But he has got 20 years' working professionally in the game and becoming one of the most respected sports journalists in football. It is that experience and book of contacts he is bringing to the club. Including being the man that will be working alongside our academy staff to pitch to youngsters and their parents on the benefits of signing for our academy, instead of the Orient's, Col Us, and Ipswich's of this world.

We could have a very exciting rest of the season ahead of ourselves as he already has pledges of help from many people in the game, including Mark Gower, who is very well placed in the Liverpool scouting network.

I remember having the same high hopes for GTFC and it feeling like I’d won the lottery when Ian Holloway was appointed as our manager.

One if the first things we will see is the guy that acted as consultant for GTFC's recruitment policy in the summer, Robinson?, being appointed Head of Recruitment here in the very near future.

I've heard he's lining up some Swedish targets.

Nope not at all, because everyone can reform and Stan has admitted in his past what he has done wrong and has done many things wrong that he would change. That is why he has become a well recognised and respected figure within the footballing community and can offer this unique role to the club.

Why are there so many ex-drug addicts giving support and contributing to drug rehabilitation projects, or ex-gang members touring schools trying to help youngsters avoid the path they took? Because they have been given a second chance to prove themselves and give something back. Stan is doing exactly the same.
