I am more than happy to work with a director of football by the way.
Being an Oldham Athletic supporter, with the willingness to expand my supporting efforts to other aspiring teams this wonderful nation has to offer, I feel I could be of benefit here.

My links to the moneymen at Latics (yes, we have them), means Sporting Leyland could benefit from first dibs on ex-offenders and former prison tennants.

Chedwyn "She asked me to lick her out" Evans
Lee "I only had 10 potcheen chasers and I'm good on Forza" Hughes

Two players who would be sensational signings for any aspiring team. Give me a shout if you'd like to discuss matters further.

In order to break the never ending cycle of supporting teams who are utter shite (Gills & England mainly), I would like to support Hardly Athletic.

Does anyone know if they have a supporters club?
You fucking animal. ;)

Sorry for my delayed response. I have had lunch with a guy who Dominic Littlewood, The chap from Cowboy Builders has put onto me about building us a proper Supporters House nextdoor to our stadium. Something I'm sure you will all be pleased to know is going ahead.

On that note, An old company called Inch's Cider have decidied to jump on board and become on of our sponsors. This is truly remarkable for the club and I would urge any other sponsors who would like to get involved to Email me and we will arrange a meeting. Anyway, Inch's Cider, You may all remember they manufactured everyone's favourite brand of English white cider, White Lightning. It will be on sale for £1.50 a pint as soon as our bar is built.

Major news for the club today is that we have a new main sponsor. These will have they're company printed on the shirts and will offer us free flights when we get into Europe and also for our tour of the Shetland Island's at the end of the season. The company is FlyLo, many of you may have seen the documentary the BBC did on them called 'Come Fly With Me'. They have a great team there and Omar Baba, The CEO is a personal friend of mine. We are looking forward to this relationship with FlyLo and it will allow us to invest in the squad. It was needed as we already have quite a large squad.

TNO, I have received an email from Spired and your CV can not be matched. Come down in the morning and we will discuss personal terms. Hopefully we can look forward to working with you aswell.

Up the Leyland!

I am humbled by your generous offer Mr Cranium sir, what will my contract terms entail?

I would just like to keep all 14 (You read that right FOURTEEN!!!) members of SLSC up to date with a few of today's goings on, that have gone unmentioned as Dickie Cranium has been hard at work securing us a new Club House, and 2 very prestigious sponsors, in Inch's and FlyLo.
This is testament to all the hard hours of time and work that Dickie puts into this blossoming Football Club, so first of all I'd like to thank Mr.Cranium for all he's accomplished today.

On the news front we today finalised a contract with our new Manager. It's taken some negotiations to get the deal right for both parties, but today we accomplished that. In giving in to some of his demands for travel and accommodation expenses to be met by SLFC, he then produced a Blueprint for the first 5 seasons. With promotion to Div1 an aim for yr3, followed by consolidation in yr4, he's set his sights very highly and wants us competing in the lower reaches of the Lancashire 6-a-side league by the start of the March 2020 season. A huge step up from the Preston league, I think you'll agree, but a dream nonetheless and one that is shared by both us at the club, and our new, forward thinking manager.
He brings with him considerable FM achievements that are seemingly unrivalled, at home and abroad. We're very lucky to be working with him and an official Press Conference where both The Lancashire Telegraph and Lancashire Evening Post will be attending, has been set for 10am on Saturday morning.

We are also on the lookout for a Director of Football, to form part of our new management setup so please, please get your applications in, and we'll appoint a DoF as soon as possible, and if the right man or woman for the job is found. We here at Sporting Leyland have no sexual prejudice at the football club, so although extremely unlikely to end up in a job as important as the DoF they will be considered for kitchen work, and secretarial duties, kit washer etc, so female applicants are actively encouraged by all at SLFC.

That's all today's news, a great day in SLFC's short history. First newsletter will be available on Saturday immediately after the presser.

Spirederman Dan- Chief of The Supporters Club and Fundraising.

Great news from the gloster SLFC SUPPORTERS CLUB, we have a new member join us, yes Fiddles , my cat has developed a liking to my 70s silk scarf, that my missus has embossed with SORTING LESBO , she's dyslexic by the way, but fiddles wears it round his neck with pride, I can see the excitement in his face as he struggles to breath.. Also, I was talking to my old mucker ,Del, and he has said that I can borrow his automobile, a 1972 robin reliant, painted a horrible shade of yellow, yes the same colour of a team I cannot say!!!, to bring all the southwest supporters to a match in not to distant future, bring it on!
Hoping to hear that we have thrashed Hardy FC in our next game, all the best from the loyal SUPPORTERS of Gloucestershire.

I did suggest to the team we stay and scout them out on Monday but they went to the pub instead haha
I must admit that I'm a wee bit worried about the amount of time that the team seems to spend in their favourite pub, THE DYING DONKEY, and hearing ,also, that our esteemed manager, joejoejoejoe, was also seen in same pub , devising tactics on the shove half penny board, with 22 used shot glasses, and being found next morning, face down, in a regurgitated curry from the well known Chinese establishment W.U. B. S. ICK .
my only hope is, that chairman, Mr D. Cranium, will not hear about it, and sack our inspiration New manager after no games, but, us supporters believe in our team, and will become champion's off this league!

I'm all in on this venture. May I ask where games take place, if its been said previously in this thread then I just haven't bothered to read it. I venture up to Lancaster a couple of times a year so may well be able to attend a game.

Last weeks game was postponed due to inclement weather and there were no games last night as it was a Bank Holiday. Back to normal next week.

Only just seen this thread and will willingly and enthusiastically set up Sporting Leylands second supporters group, here in sunny and not much to do Norfolk.

As I go to France now and then can I be presumptuous and ask you if you would consider me your new European scout. I know the frogs hate tackling and dive like no one else, well apart from Joe Garner, but I may be able to find you your very first oversea's player ,if I look hard enough..
I'll go onto my profile and change it Asap, but consider your Norfolk supporters branch well and truely open, though like the Gloucestershire branch it has just one member though I'm sure a local farmer I know will join if I shag his prize Heffer . As long as he don't take photos I'm up to doubling the branches numbers.

Up the Leyland

I would advise all at Sporting Leylands not to let any hedge fund become involved now ,or when ,you become internationally known when you win the Preston and district league one title

I have a feeling Smokers United may not be the fittest team in the league.

I fully expect a win here

Just hoping that this long break between games has not upset the teams fitness, and also their dedication to the team, hopefully Captain Tom has been keeping the team on the straight and narrow, and the team is only going to the pub 6 nights a week, and only getting truly bladdered at the weekends!
From some reports i've heard, Smokers United's goalie likes to have a ciggie every 10 minutes, so hopefully Sporting will take advantage when hes having a quick drag by the emergency exit.
Go go Sporting,, the Gloucestershire branch will be with you Monday night in Spirit , mines a double whiskey ta !!!!

Tried talking to the team, but they were very stiff lipped about it,whether it was that they were embarrassed by the defeat, or,.......... they were pissed up at the time of the game. One never knows, Capt Tom, bless his cotton socks, was not very forth coming, his only comment was, I don't want to talk about it, I'm afraid Tom as captain its your responsibility to talk to your fans. As for our esteemed manager, joejoejoejoe, no one has seen or heard a peep from him, ! What has happened to the team, we the supporters, who flocked in their ones to support, what we thought was going to be a dream season, is definitely turning into a living nightmare!!!!!!

I told you, we're shit. Doomed to finish bottom again this season. "Fitness told..." what a pathetic bunch of wasters this team really is.
