I think that was more with Davies to be honest, I'm sure he's got nothing against the club. Wouldn't be surprised to see him manage there at some point in his career. I don't think it'd be a good appointment and if a legend like Pearce got hounded out by the boo boys then it wouldn't take long for ex Derby, "Non league Nigel" to see a backlash either.

It'd be a poor appointment/decision from both parties.

Pretty gutting but inevitable. Performances and results haven't been good enough simply put. The reaction of the fans shows you the right footballing decision has probably been made. The players have a lot to answer for as well. Nowhere to hide now.
