Can we have an automated warning designed when you reply to a thread started by hbk4894 ?

"You are replying to a thread started by hbk4894, the more you feed him, the more shite he posts, are you sure you want to do that?"

I fell in to the trap earlier and replied without checking who started the thread and now I feel a fool. You can save others from this with this simple change.

Thanks

There is a warning tool, it's called getting glasses.

Despite me using the Shoutbox on a regular basis, is there a reason why it's at the top of the forum page? It's not exactly the most civilised at the best of times (I'm partly responsible) and probably doesn't set a great example to those who have just signed up. Personally I thought it was far less interfering at the bottom of the page.

This point has been raised by a fair few members now. I'll discuss with Saddlerrad about putting it to a poll. Democracy and all that.

But by that same measure, it shows plenty of forum activity, therefore could promote people signing up?

Is there anyway when youre on a phone of making the alerts and conversations as separate tabs in the top right (as it is on a computer). Not a major but a bit annoying having to click on general notifications then either conversations/alerts every time as opposed to just one or the other straight away.

How about renaming the Politics forum to summat broader? News & Current Affairs maybe.

The recent Death Penalty and Government to Ban Whatsapp threads probably belong in there instead of being in GC with Sheep and The Joke Thread and whatnot.

TractorBoys Might be an idea to sort the ground guides in the section into sub-folders by their league, would make them easier to find and see which ones are missing?

The name of the pills that are used to help old men get erections shouldn't be a banned word...whats wrong with it?

Does this site turn words into affiliate links like TFF used to? I dunno, I use Adblock. Maybe they don't want links to dodgy sites flogging them pills on here, if it does?

Is my uneducated guess.

To stop the occasional spammer that gets through the registration process, I'd guess.

Not 100% sure, that's TB's area, but my educated guess would be that spammers use software tools to surf the net looking for the use of the word viagra so they can sign up in association.

We don't use an affiliate words for Amazon etc like TFF used to. It's a little bit spammy IMO. I'd rather have a thread etc.
