Do you think that people can't post in the L1 forum when they get relegated?

Very good AS, yourself?

Very good also, thanks for asking.

I see both our teams are 'enjoying' an up and down season including some pretty heavy home defeats to vastly superior sides.

I hope 2018 brings you good things, (aside from on the football field, of course!)

The feel good factor at the club is something I haven't experienced for quite some time. The difference this time around is the fact that we have a group of people running the club who are fans and not just businessmen. Off the pitch the club has made huge strides the biggest of which will I hope be announced soon. On the pitch we have a man in charge that has brought back the attacking football tradition of this club and has turned young promising players into established ones with a bright future (us older fans will remember another bright manager who did the same). The depth of the squad is such that we could afford to lose a few players and still retain the level of performance. I'm sure if that happened we would bring in quality to replace them. Any clubs sniffing around our talent will have to pay well over the odds. Thats the advantage of being in our position. The biggest worry maybe on the manager front. NJ is already attracting interest but it will take a big club to lure him away. I can't see that happening this season. He still has an unfinished job here. When that day does come the club should be in a position to attract a decent manager. Its a lot easier to walk into a job with the right foundations.
The rollercoaster ride we experience as Luton fans has made us a tough bunch. Our ability to dust ourselves down and come again is very much part of the clubs character. Just now we are well and truly back and on the front foot. Lets enjoy it while we can.
Next Wales manager?

Famous last words but I can't see Jones leaving this season, I don't think he's done quite enough yet to get a good Championship job and that is the only level that it would make sense for him to jump ship for.

If he has Luton doing well in League 1 this time next year that's when I think we'll lose him to a Championship team. Hopefully the board can then make another good appointment. They started off with a series of poor managerial picks but the last two have been perfect for what the club needed at the time.

Who, Nathan Jones the next Wales manager??? Come on Kenny ffs. He may be a decent/excellent/brilliant/genius (delete where applicable) manager but fact is he's only plying his trade in the 4th div right now. Granted, soon to be a L1 manager unless something very extraordinary happens but he'd be stupid to go from league footy to managing a national side just yet. Anyway, I'd be astonished if national teams even bother to look at the lower league managers. We're not talking about Andorra or San Marino here.

I tend to agree with you, but he has gained that many plaudits in the last few months, who knows. I think he’d be a perfect fit for them. Passionate, wants to play football the right way etc.

Also some of the names mentioned for the role have been ridiculous. Craig Bellamy ffs!

Sounds like someone is celebrating promotion at Xmas! Just waiting for the Dean Windass moment! Fair fucks, though.

It must be hell having a billionaire owner.

Personally wonderful, shame the team I support should be playing in a circus tent rather than a quarter empty stadium with an atmosphere worse than a morgue.

Fair play to City, you are having a tremendous season in both the league and the cup(s). Enjoy it while it lasts (look at Blackpool for example - not suggesting it will happen to B.City mind you).

We are only missing Reading and Bristol Rovers fans from this thread now - and Gills I guess.

Ah, but they know in their heart of hearts it will all end in glorious failure.
