Swindon vs Southend

Southend have been putting a run together in the last few months and look a decent outside bet to finish in the top 6. Swindon haven't had the best of seasons but have picked up some good home results in recent months. They are already on their third manager of the season after the sacking of Mark Cooper and the unfortunate resignation of Martin Ling. Southend will be looking at this one with 1 eye of picking up 3 points whilst most of the top 6 are on cup duty this afternoon.

I alluded to it in the confirmed transfers thread but Town are in big trouble unless Mr Power pulls a few rabbits out of his proverbial hat in the transfer window. A midfield featuring Drissa Traore and Anton Rodgers is barely good enough for League 2, let alone L1.

We'd be decent if we could defend. El Abd or another experienced CB required as well as a left back and goalkeeper in my opinion. Need a better midfielder to replace Rodgers who I just dont rate as good enough, too.
