We also have the oldest Football league ground. Think we were the first side to play with the Yellow ball aswell

First ever Football League side to field a Starting XI with 11 Academy players.
Finished bottom of the Football League more than any other side (Nine)
We've never lost a game at Wembley and have only conceded 1 goal there in 4 visits, surely the best record for a lower division side at Wembley? (excluding defeat on penalties vs York in 1993)
Record transfer sale for a League Two player in Nick Powell
One of a handful of clubs to have never won a League Title
Currently the only Football League club in Cheshire (current and historic)

See, that Crewe list is a proper list of achievements.

The starting XI all being academy grads is phenomenal

But doesn't belong here. I wanted the true records to be proud of like first team to offer Bovril as a drink at a ground or first team to have a player named Clive.

We need to out tinpot Mansfield with their floodlight and yellow ball nonsense!

Very much so. He's lived in the same house in Wandsworth (not far from Wimbledon) for over 40 years.

Rumour has it that the writer of New Tricks wanted the character to be a West Brom fan, as he was, but Alun Armstrong persuaded him to change it to AFC Wimbledon.
I know he is a WBA fan as I read the characters are all named after old WBA players.

Also, a northerner living in London but supporting WBA would just have been too weird.

First English team to sign a Scottish Black player from a Scottish league club...... Victor Kasule,

First league club to be managed by a surviving player from the Munich Air disaster... goalkeeper Harry Gregg

The first Football League teams to play at Wembley in a competitive fixture were Bristol Rovers and Shrewsbury Town in the 2007 Football League Two play-off Final on 26 May 2007. Shrewsbury Town became the first league team to score at Wembley and also the first league team to have a player sent off

Think we now hold the record for longest run of games without being awarded a penalty.

It's only Bupkis If you discount the Durham Senior Cup which in some seasons features Sunderland reserves! Roll on the day when Durham invades Cumbria and your forced to take part!

Fuck off with your attendance bull. This is for serious discussion about serious football matters. Number crunching has no place here.
