FWIW two worthy finalists. True I was occasionally otherwise occupied but that was inevitable given this competition spanned many weeks but thought when present I was up there in a lot of the tasks, and was a team player. I hoped that my performance the last couple of nights might go in my favour but always knew there was a 70% chance I'd be out if I didn't win tonight.

The two finalists will team up with 3 eliminated contestants each in a best of three challenge series to determine the winner and sole SURVIVOR!

SUTSS & Bottega Don, I now need both of you to decide who you want on your team for the final. Please PM me a list of 6 contestants numbered 1 through to 6. You can choose any of the sixteen eliminated contestants.

Numbers 1-3 are your first choice three. These people will join your team unless they feature in your opponent's first choice three. The order of these first 3 on your list doesn't matter. Say for example Don had a certain contestant on number 3 on his list, and SUTSS had that same contestant at number 1 on his list - the contestant in question would still decide who they would rather represent in the final.

However, if Don needed to go to his reserve three, and had a certain contestant at number 4, with SUTSS having that same contestant at number 5 - the contestant in question would automatically join Don's team. So basically the order of 4-6 can affect who ends up on your team. I will not inform contestants of where they placed on your lists, only that they have a decision to make if they indeed do.

The first part of the final will start tomorrow night, and is not a 'live' challenge.​

Part One: Categories
​

This challenge will work like the ‘Eye Spy’ challenge except with the following categories:

• Hangman
• Dingbats (cryptic visual puzzles)
• Family Fortunes
• Guess the object

Like with Eye Spy, your team decides who will tackle each category. Each player will be PM’d questions based on their category. Eight points are up for grabs in each category meaning the maximum score for a team is 32. You let me know the day & time you want to receive your PM. The more notice you can give me the better, but you need to make your attempt by 7 pm on Saturday.

If other team members are online when you receive your PM you are welcome to share the puzzles with them and get their thoughts but it has to be you who replies to the PM, and remember there is a strict time limit! I will be using a stop watch rather than the forum clock as well for this challenge so if you go even 1 second over you will score zero. I know it sounds harsh but better to explain it clearly now to avoid farces!

When you have decided who will be taking on which category, can SUTSS & Bottega Don PM the list to me to confirm and finalise this. Please see below for some more detail about the four categories.

Hangman
You will be PM’d four hangman puzzles. 2 points for each one you correctly guess. You won’t be able to reveal any more letters, and can only make 1 guess for each puzzle. You will have strictly no more than 4 minutes to reply with your answers from the moment I PM you the questions.

Dingbats
You will be PM’d four Dingbats style visual puzzles. 2 points per each one you guess correctly, and you can only make 1 guess for each puzzle. You will have strictly no more than 2 minutes to reply with your answers from the moment I PM you the questions.

Family Fortunes
You will be PM’d eight Family Fortunes survey questions that have appeared on the TV show. For each one you need to give me the top answer to score 1 point. You will have strictly no more than 2 minutes to reply with your answers from the moment I PM you the questions. You may make 1 guess only per question.

Guess the object
You will be PM’d four photos of objects. 2 points per each one you guess correctly, and you can only make 1 guess for each. You will have strictly no more than 4 minutes to reply with your answers from the moment I PM you the questions.

The team that scores more points will win the first leg of the final, taking a 1-0 lead in the best of three series and leaving the finalist they represent on the brink of winning!​

Not sure I would've done justice to how important this is for Don and SUTSS anyway mate. Heart wouldn't have been in it anywhere near the level Lee has suggested his would have, for example.

Part one of the challenge is nearly complete, just one contestant left to take on their category and they have arranged to do so at a time tomorrow night.

Part two of the final will happen live in the thread. Now as this is the final I want to give both SUTSS & Bottega Don a fair chance to get as many of their team online as possible. So this next challenge will happen either tomorrow at 8 pm, Saturday at 7 pm or Sunday at 7 pm. Each team can veto one of these 3 nights which will mean the challenge will definitely NOT happen on this night. The challenge will happen on the night neither team vetos, or if both teams veto the same night I will pick the earlier day out of the two left.

Well, SUTSS and Spirederman both scored 0 in what were clearly some difficult Hangman puzzles. This means we go to a tiebreaker which will involve the hangman puzzles already PM'd to SUTSS & Spire.

I will use the first 3 puzzles I sent to them, so it's best of three. With each puzzle I will reveal the next letter along every 2 mins, obviously hangman style so if the next letter is was a "T" I would reveal all "Ts" in the puzzle.

Each individual team member may give a maximum of one answer per puzzle.

I will post the first puzzle in one minute.
