Whenever I've seen Pointless on TV the surveys seem really strange. Like if they genuinely asked 100 people on the street then some of the more obscure answers would never score so high. Maybe they have some panel of 100 who they suggest give varied or less obvious answers or something. It's certainly lacking the integrity of Family Fortunes surveys imo

Pointless is done via online surveys.

I should know as I'm one of the people they send surveys to I've taken part in dozens.

No, never been tempted! You don't get a lot of time. They always say "We gave 100 people 100 seconds to name as many..." but in reality it's more like a minute.

They conduct their surveys through a website called www.crowdology.co.uk

They're not currently collecting new data at the moment; it must be 3 or 4 months since I last did any Pointless surveys, but I expect they'll be gathering more in the not too distant future.

You get paid for it too. Not a lot, but it adds up. I've probably made over £50 since I registered just by doing various surveys.
