Yes, I'm back with the thread that everybody is waiting for - the 'lol, my eyes hurt'/'I say! That's a real beauty!' thread.

Onto matters at hand, it pays off to have your side kitted out in a good looking, sexy, eye catching strip because it does pay off in the end. Or so says Kim Park Jun, the custodian at Jesus College, anyway. Apparently he commissioned this study and he found out that the L2 teams with the prettiest kits all got promoted this year (Imps, MK and the Shakers) while those with the crappiest kits finished in the bottom four. The only anomaly, Mr Kim claims, is Vale with their dashing home strip finishing the season in a lowly position.

Who better than Glasgow Wednesday Oldham Athletic to get this thread under way then eh? If Mr Kim is correct about this supposed correlation between kits and league standings then I can safely say the Latics are in a for a pretty forgettable season, aka mid table. Anywhere between 10th-16th would be my guess.

Love the 'Wank a lot' logo, is it a toilet tissue company?

Ours is bland bland bland. Bland photography too, with a bland brown background and a bored looking player. Standard Puma template in white and blue, what more can I say?

Large
To be honest it does look better when you see it for real, not that much though. Not a fan of these template kits that a lot of manufacturers seem so keen on for lower league clubs. They look cheap and nasty IMO. Hopefully the away one, colours of which have been picked by the Supporters club, will be an improvement on this.

Those Puma kits look like they've had no effort whatsoever gone into the design of them. Oldham's new kit is decent enough though.

We're still selling this seasons kit at FULL PRICE. Apparently they are "selling out fast."

We're also selling our never worn light blue PlayerLayer third kit (£50) and special edition FA Cup shirt, which we wore in our glorious 0-3 first round defeat to Oxford for a bargain price of £80! In fact everything listed is "Limited edition" so that obviously makes it fair enough to charge such ridiculous prices.

Wow that's shocking. We slashed all three of our shirts to £20 in like Feb or something and they sold out really quickly. I ordered the home and was gonna get the away and 3rds after checking the size but all the mediums and larges had been snapped up by the time my home arrived.

Edit: You'll also be pleased to hear that all my 1FF ads are now for plain £3 green t-shirts.

Sounds like Dale Vince has a bit of the estate agent in him. I suppose you got to if you're going to run any sort of big business.

They aren't 'outdated' they're 'limited edition'.

If there are any unsold halfway through next season they'll probably rock up under the label 'vintage'.

We once commissioned a third kit and then never actually wore it. The club found it highly embarrasing and vowed never to sell a kit they didn't wear again. Seems like we had the wrong idea.

Our kit will be launched on June the 22nd. Apparently thought he club have already taken delivery of stock of replica kits.

It's good to hear that there won't be any repeat of previous seasons. Can't imagine them going a month without the kit design being leaked though. A couple of seasons ago it was leaked when someone who lives overlooking the club shop caught sight of a van delivering the posters with the new kits on about a week before they were supposed to be revealed. It's that easy for just one slip by one person to result in everyone knowing what it's gonna be.

We announced an open day yesterday for 28th July - I have no doubt this will be when we announce the new away kit.

Tranmere - Lazy effort,in fact I'm now questioning my long held belief that less is better when it comes to footy kits. 22nd-24th in L1.

Plymouth - I know it's the same template as Tranny's but it looks a whole lot better in green. 10th-14th.

Morecambe - Awful. 21th-24th

Cheltenham - what's this keeping last year's home kit crap? Don't they know this is not how capitalism works? 15th-20th

Cambridge - I may be biased, actually make that definitely biased, but that's a stunning kit. TOP 3 come May 2020.

I'm looking forward to all the other kits yet to be unveiled but of special interest to me will be Fgr's and Grimsby's efforts. The fishies had a good looking strip last year so I'm interested to find out if they can top it. There's not a lot one can do with black and white stripes year in year out but one would be amazed how a subtle thing like a little trim here and there can improve any kit. OTOH, there are many ways one can fcuk up FGR's home strip mostly due to that flourescent green that Dale Vince is so keen on.

Not a new kit but a new crest for Stevenage

Very similar to quite a few newer crests like Bristol City and Brentford. Seems to have got a mixed reception from the Stevenage fans.
This lets just have a circle with an animal that we feel represents the club does seem to be sweeping the country. Rather like badges using that shield shape that Arsenal came up with did a while back.
