Here is our new away kit which was based on a previous kit from the 90's. Voted by us the fans!

I don't mind that CUFC away strip, certainly a lot better than some of the others that have appeared on this thread...my only concern is the manufacturer, who from painful experience can fail to deliver. You might be advised to check what is on offer at your local sports shops, in case of emergency, before the season gets under way.

I like it. Very 90s as intended.

To be fair though, whilst other clubs had grumbles, only FGR were so massively affected by them last season.

I wonder if it was the stars they had issues with...;)

It's certainly receiving lots of positive reviews from kit social media accounts. It won't be to everyone's taste but I think they will both sell very well.

I get the impression that Cambridge fans will love it because of the link to the 93/94 kit, but if they didn't have that nostalgia then it wouldn't be viewed as a very nice kit.

I love it, first time I think we've had two great shirts for over 10 years. At least we'll look good embarrassing ourselves again throughout the season.

Yep, there's every chance we've got the prettiest kits this year, but I think I'll wait a tad longer before proclaiming us champs! A handful of fellow L2 sides generally tend to produce nice kits, so I'll be eager to see if they can take top spot off us. I'm specifically thinking of Grimsby, Orient, Port Vale, Bradford and, to a lesser extent, Carlisle and Mansfield.

Meanwhile, all those that know me personally are flabbergasted I'm actually a fan of the new away strip. And tbh, so am I!

Now let's all take a moment to laugh at this terrible effort by Plymouth. LOL.

We ditched Puma for Hummel this time last year.......

Your kits look great on paper but you haven't got them yet.

You could still end up embarrassingly having to ask opposition to wear their away kit at home to you because you're only (shop bought) one clashes with their home kit, a la us at Wycombe.

An eventual introduction for our kits:

Pretty standard though the home kit may look nicer on some players than others. There’s something off about the away kit, maybe red stitching. They’re a bit like those lines they had on the mid-2000s shirts.

We also have a third kit available in hot stripey pink.

I always like the Grimsby kit, not because I wish I was a Mariner, for the combination of black and white stripey shirt, black shorts and red socks...it is like FGR as we used to be!

That home kit is definitely up to scratch...but not too keen on the away version.

Ours are all a bit shit, in my opinion. Hate the neck/collar on the home one.
Our kit designers will probably see that Plymouth kit and be like, "hold my beer".....
And then they'll be like "..actually, give me it back we've got until at least the end of September to get this one out".
