The Wednesday
In terms of pure away days

Best :
QPR : Boozing round Shepherds Bush, decent allocation (if given both tiers)
Brentford : old style ground, few pubs around the stadium, not difficult to get to
Bristol C : Decent city, bit of a trek to the stadium mind, shame the EE has gone but at least in the Atyeo i waint fall over

Worst :
Leeds : Pricey tickets and usually an early kick off/televised and over zealous plod, bit of needle cos of the recent meetings and death of a Leeds fan.
Ipswich : Pricey, a c*** to get to and we rarely get a result there.
Bolton : Just a shite away day

showered with piss and coins from minute 1 by fat, black pudding stained, pig tinkering, scrap metal dealers.

That's dreadful. We always knew there was a lot of in-fighting among the Blues fans, but that's pretty abnormal. Is showering each other with piss and coins a wider Brummie phenomenon or just a Birmingham City thing?

Also, to be fair, though, you're not all scrap metal dealers. The area around Digbeth's been cleared up and cannibalism has been almost entirely stamped out in Small Heath.

Birmingham is a far better better away day that Wolves. The lower Steve Bull is shit and if you're on the first couple of rows, you can't see all of the pitch. As has been stated, because its the entire length of the pitch and only about 10 rows, atmosphere is poor. Birmingham has a superb away section and great view. Always decent atmosphere is created when we go there. Boozing in B'ham city centre pre and post match is very good too.

If you've not been you're one of the lucky ones, absolutely terrible away day. That shit long lower tier, impossible to create any atmosphere, showered with piss and coins from minute 1 by fat, black pudding stained, pig tinkering, scrap metal dealers. You'll be attacked all the way back to the station, police won't bat an eyelid, try and defend yourself they'll wade into you like their badges depend on it. I always say I'll never go again but always end up going anyway.

I'll personally be looking for the London awayers, 3 of my faves in the division this year, Fulham QPR & Charlton, couple of new grounds too, not especially awe inspiring but new to me all the same.

It's also been bloody ages since I last went to Bristol City so that's one I'll keep an eye out for.
See this said quite a lot but loads of teams have made a good atmosphere in there including yourselves.

I imagine Blues would be a terrible away day, especially if there's some ill feeling between the supporters. In fact there's a lot of similarities between Blues & Wolves away, surrounding areas are utter shitholes, nowhere to have a beer, a mission from the train station.

I'd still rate it above a trip to Molineux though purely on the away end you're given.
Molineux is a 5 minute walk from the station.

No chance, it's at least 10 minutes, and on matchday with all that goes with it i'd suggest it takes a good 25/30 min stadium to station.

Been there done it, many many times.

Agreed, took us a good 20 minutes last season to get back to the train station.
