What I like about West Midlands football is that it's never dominated by one team. Villa have had long success before Birmingham won the League Cup. West Brom have been top dogs until recently and now it looks like it's our turn. In a few years we'll probably have them singing about us going bust or something. It's never boring anyway.

A genuine power shift over to Wolverhampton looks very likely. I'm afraid wolves are going to leave us standing for years, maybe a good decade, or so.
Forget about Wolves, there’s a Birmingham Power Shift in motion as we speak.

We'll be Birmingham's only professional football club. That's good enough for me.

Don't take the piss our of your rivals, you'll get the goody two shoes on here throwing a strop like they do with us for laughing at Blackpool.

Remember the exact same was happening to Birmingham a few years back when Carson Yeung was sent down for money laundering and there was talk of going bust. Wonder who'll be next :err:

We've spent 88m in the last two years, but 30 odd mill was on the tick. HMRC are not the only ones after money. The plan was to pay it off once we got promoted this season :err:

American businessman apparently preparing a 75m bid for villa. I can just imagine them fluking there way out of this as usual but after years of torment from villa fans when we had all the Carson Yeung shenanigans, Rowett/Zola fiasco I hope they can suffer for at least a few seasons. Time will tell but I’m enjoying it for now.

You have to be either extremely stupidly rich, or just plain stupid, to want to actually pay for the club in its current state. £75m would see a first years outlay of around £175m, that's without signing anyone either.

That's what Xia wants, but it's obviously not worth that, not with all this that's going on. Heard somewhere that our true value would be around 45-55m

Does this potentially mean trouble for the clubs who Villa have bought players from then, if they have been heavily subsidised with installments?

Villa have promised to pay half the tax bill owed by the end of the week and have got a stay of execution.

It actually is like a real episode of can’t pay ffs

Dr Xia ringing round all his mates nicking a £100 here and there.

According to the Daily Mail we’re after Green and Davis from Villa for £7m.

I’ve never heard of them.

They are the type of players we need to be keeping as we are going to lose most of our starting 11. Davis is ok, but Green has some potential to become a good player. Davis won't score many at this level let alone the prem. he holds the ball up well though.

They’ll still be up there next season if they keep Bruce.
