Didn't see the game as was at a gig so unable to comment on the match.

What has surprised me is that Lincoln are 15 unbeaten since Boxing Day, which is some achievement, in my head they haven't been playing very well, clearly i am confused and/or deluded as 15 game run whilst there to be shot at is impressive.

And boom Akinde Pen pops up again :fish:
Well if people will go flying into our wingers most games in the area its going to happen lol!

Didn’t watch it, but it sounded like it went fairly predictably.

Talking of predictable, how’s Jorgie Grant going for you Stags fans?

Not strictly true conker on the players who started last night Akinde, Toffolo, Andrade, O'Connor brought in during the summer. O'Hara, Gilks And Rowe came in during the January.
Management team yeah third season with us of course so kinda know what you mean.
The Cowley method is well ingrained.

I thought that but I think my point is still very fair in comparison to Mansfield, Lincoln have basically added that touch of quality that they needed to go with the organisation they always had.

We did not go for our usual nice style of play yesterday that’s been implemented this season and that’s probably down to Lincoln being a good team.

I think both clubs going to struggle to keep a few players in the summer.

Done pretty well. Cheers for asking. Hard to stand out in a team 3rd in the league.

Some say he’s disrupted the team and is a bit of a prima while others say his quality has shown - It’s somewhere inbetween for me although I do think he’s quite lucky to be above Khan atm.

Classic Lincoln/Cowleys. Joined at the hip of the 4th official, Akinde (pen) and quite how they continue to get away with that ridiculous keeper team talk thing, I don't know. If I was in charge of an opposing team, I'd get my lot to form a wall on the touchline and ensure Cowley stays in his technical area. It's outright cheating.

Interesting to note that the stat popped up on Sky regarding points won from losing positions, Lincoln had the most. Something I raised a few weeks ago that was swiftly rebuked by a number of Lincoln fans on here. Think I was even mocked by one of the Tranmere fans who probably didn't understand what I was talking about too.

Logan is hilarious. Nailed on to fuck up the playoffs for Stags if they don't scrape 3rd place. I don't know what Flitcroft is doing taking Grant off before the hour is even up either. Great bit of Flitcroft proclaiming it a match between "two honest teams" lol, at least he knows he's spouting shite.

Good that you don’t let it wind you up though.

Thought both sides looked good, but Lincoln had that bit more fight that they've shown so much this season in the second half - reminds me of us, we've been so lacklustre in the first half but come back strong in the second half lately.

Seeing Lincoln yesterday just confirms to me they're going up as Champions and deservedly so. Not as dominant as teams in previous years but still a quality side who should hold their own in L1.

Every round of fixtures now on is going to be a case of who blinks first between us and Mansfield, and as a few have said, that last game of the season is going to be a big one for both sides.
Yep, we're far better in second halves this season - performance wise anyway. Whether that translates into stats I'm not sure.

Can't remember exactly, but it was something to the tune of how I thought you'd come from behind to win/draw quite a bit this season.

Just found it in the Exeter match thread about you thinking we'd fallen behind and drawn a lot (last night was only the second time it's happened).

We've generally come from behind to win (5 times) so only fallen behind and won points in 7 games.

If I've got my maths correct, that means our record when conceding the first goal is P11 W5 D2 L4.

Since the turn of the year we've gone in front and draw a few plus the home game with Mansfield and the Cambridge game so we've done the opposite a few times too.
Think we've drawn a few from winning positions. 5 or 6?

Logan has only played the last two games, and as many Bury fans mentioned he likes Goalkeeper roulette so I imagine that’s him done for the season now.

I agree re the team talk thing, it’s definitely cheating it’s all a bit embarrassing quite frankly that they are getting away with it.

Grant shouldn’t even be starting on his form, never mind being took off for a Macdonald who did well.

Probably about that, yeah.

Mansfield, Stevenage, Swindon, Northampton, Cambridge are 5 I can remember straight away - 4 of those were home games, too.

Matt Gilks clearly had an injury, he should receive plaudits for carrying on through the pain barrier and seeing the game out. As far as I understand it if a goalkeeper is injured then he is allowed medical intervention which in this case he clearly needed. I see no case of cheating.

The hallmark of a good team, you should try it some time!
Would be nice, but we don't all have hundreds of thousands to spend on the best players in the division (and some very good ones from the one above).

Aye, just had a look myself and I mentioned wins and draws. Nevertheless, you've taken the most amount of points from losing positions this season so I'm claiming this as a victory for me here. :cool1:

I think you said about us getting late winners (specifically in injury time), which hasn't necessarily been the case this year, as someone else pointed out.

Was one of your more dangerous players last night up until being taken off, in my opinion. Admittedly, I wasn't watching that intently.

No, I mentioned 55-75ish minute timeframe. It was hello gregory that mentioned late winners, which prompted me to pipe up with my bang on wisdom - was probably picked up from these very pages by Sky actually now that I think about it.

Funny how your keepers often get injuries and it coincides with your entire team going over to the touchline...

For once I hope I'm wrong but everytime I see Logan he has a mistake a game in him and with him staying in net will probably see you missing out on the autos.

We will! Unless our form magically changes for the last 8 games.

2 wins in 7 is not good enough.
