Man Utd haven't had any memorable games so far because they haven't gone head on with any of the big clubs. Might change in the late stage of the season requires them to, but at present looks unlikely.
From a neutral pov though I'd say Man City are almost in the same boat for different reasons. The actual memorable match was their loss.
It's probably all more to do with having something to play for. Everyone conceded the title to Citeh ages ago, so with Utd sat 2nd and pretty much hovering in that spot for the most part they've not got much to play for in the league, it's largely expected they'll be in the CL spots so the results are a bit anticlimactic, a draw here or there or the odd loss won't make much difference as the chasers are pulling in those negative results too.
The Liverpool Citeh game was memorable not only because of the way the game itself panned out but also because the unbeaten accolade was on the line.
I cba to type anymore. Well done for reading.

Arsenal vs United is still my game of the season. Both teams were impressive in the game, United for being utterly clinical and the best goalkeeping display of the season, Arsenal for relentlessly attacking once they fell two goals behind. Absolute classic. It probably wasn't United's best performance, they've had a few 2/3/4-0s against worse opposition that are instantly forgettable but unerringly professional, but neutrals aren't going to enjoy those. United absolutely deserve to be second, this is the best they have been since Ferguson and if Manchester City weren't an all-time great team they would be worthy title challengers. Consistency against weaker opposition matters.

United are a strange one this season. They sit 2nd in the table but haven't left any sort of impression. Thanks to Mourinho and the style of play he impliments they pick up the points (so deserve them) but they're pretty much instantly forgettable. Perhaps that's what MM was referring to.
Partly but I reckon you're a bit too soft on them. United remind me of the Real Madrid side in the Galacticos era in a way that they bought expensive players for a lot of money but as a team they're pretty poor I reckon. It says a lot about the quality of the league that they have 2nd sewned with more than 10 games to go. I'm convinced that most of the Fergie sides would beat the side of the current season.

Good results so far this weekend for Liverpool, only a draw between Spurs and Arsenal could have made it better. Just need West Brom to pick something up against Chelsea tomorrow now, but I really can't see it unfortunately. Then again, most people would have said the same about Bournemouth and Watford.

Think it's just Spurs vs Chelsea for 4th now.
Could be you lot versus Chelsea for the last place tbh epic. Spurs back looking strong (though if Kane gets injured then would they stall?), and you guys and Chelsea are creaking along now.

That's true, Spurs are in better form than us but I can't see them, you and Chelsea all overtaking us.

Oh I didn't say Chelsea would, but I can see Spurs getting there, they have a lot of momentum about them at the moment; and we are ticking along steadily too.

Liverpool and Spurs have a very nice run of games compared to the rest (I'm excluding Arsenal). Man Utds run in by comparison is hideous!

Utd aren't very good. Really worried about Pogba's performance levels. Would like him to do much better at the World Cup.

We're second in the Premier League, we are very good. Unless the rest of the Premier League is shit.

Pogba has been really underwhelming, though, yeah.

I'd like you to make him a better player if you don't mind, Steven. People will be expecting to see better against Australia!

I'd like the same!

JJ is right, he's two deep in our midfield two. Further forward and to the left in a three looks like his position.

It is very close though. You could be out of top 4 in one or two gw. United definitely have the toughest run in compared to rest iirc.

With Arsenal being 7 points behind Spurs, I think it's safe to say that the 3 CL spots will be played between Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham.

With 11 games to go, here are their respective run-ins:
Man Utd: Chelsea (h), Palace (a), Liverpool (h), West Ham (a), Swansea (h), Man City (a), WBA (h), Bournemouth (a), Arsenal (h), Brighton (a), Watford (h).
Liverpool: West Ham (h), Newcastle (h), Man Utd (a), Watford (h), Palace (a), Everton (a), Bournemouth (h), WBA (a), Stoke (h), Chelsea (a), Brighton (h).
Chelsea: Man Utd (a), Man City (a), Palace (h), Burnley (a), Tottenham (h), West Ham (h), Southampton (a), Huddersfield (h), Swansea (a), Liverpool (h), Newcastle (a).
Tottenham: Palace (a), Huddersfield (h), Bournemouth (a), Newcastle (h), Chelsea (a), Stoke (a), Man City (h), Brighton (a), Watford (h), West Brom (a), Leicester (h).

Utd and Liverpool play two contenders each, Chelsea play against everyone while Spurs only have a trip to Stamford Bridge. Taking this into account, it would take something quite special I reckon for Utd not to finish in the top 4. Also, Spurs have quite a couple of winnable games in their last 4 games while Chelsea and Liverpool play each other.
Other competitions will be important. Bar, Liverpool, all 4 sides are still in the FA Cup while all of them are still in the Champions' League (Spurs likely to progress to the quarter-finals).

Quite exciting this.

Chelsea and Man Utd will not fail the Champions League spot.
In my opinion Tottenham has more possibilities than Liverpool because it's a square team.
Liverpool suffers too many goals, in the long run this is a decisive factor.

This is what goal difference is about. We do concede more than the other top 6 teams (well, bar Arsenal but they don't count), but we score far more than any of them bar City as well. As a result, our goal difference is better than Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal and we sit above them as a result. In short, there is no difference between winning a game 2-0 or 4-2.

Catching up on Utd's goal difference as well, and with a good win this weekend may overtake them on points and gd if things go doubly well. We should start conceding less now hopefully now that VVD seems settled in, brings calmness to the whole back line, and Karius has stepped up the last half dozen games. The odd poor result will still happen, but so it will too to Chelsea and Utd also as shown this last month. Spurs do look on fire just now however, and the way they are playing, it's difficult to see them dropping too many points currently.

The best thing for United would be to finish outside top 4 and sack that self indulged prick and get a real manager in who's hungry to win.

I would like everyone to know that I am no longer extremely confident that United will finish second this season.

So a Chelsea draw at Old Trafford tomorrow puts Liverpool 2nd courtesy of a goal. Interesting.

103 goals in 40 games for Liverpool now, outstanding.

Also saw this elsewhere and liked it:

Pogba - goals scored in all competitions: 3
Firmino - goals scored without looking: 3

Surely even you can see why Firmino would score more than Pogba.
