Anthony Joshua expected to go up against Mariusz Wach. Huge, huge step up in class.

Wach isn't the most technically gifted, he's still quite crude in his style, but he's a big puncher, he's about 6'8 and he's got an absolute granite chin. I can't see him getting stopped by anyone, some of the shots he took against Wlad were unreal and he just stood there as if nothing had happened. Interesting scrap this one is.

Blimey, now that would be a test for Joshua.

I'd wager that won't be happening anytime soon.

They've got to really, they're really aren't many other guys to face.

Andy Lee v BJS is confirmed for Thomond Park on Sept 19. Has the makings for a mental night. 10's of 1000's of gypsies all wired to the max for a world title fight between two gypsies, what could possibly go wrong?

Spence living up to the hype with a 3rd round stoppage.

The next fight should be better, Smith - Ward.

He has no class at all, he needs to drop down to 135 where he looks less like a rabbit in headlights. That knock down just gave him his deducted point back.

I'd love nothing more than to watch him pick his jaw up off the floor.

'I'm financially fine.' What a c***.

I love how he essentially handicapped Porter with the catchweight and the rehydration bullshit and still lost.

Broner should go to Vegas and become a Mayweather impersonator.

Hard to see Smith going past round six.

It's bound to happen eventually, there's too much money in it not to especially now that Mayweather is expected to keep it low key and fight Berto or Mayfield.

I think Khan beats Brook on points, probably a close decision. I think his jab and speed will be too much, obviously the fact Khan is vulnerable will means Brook has a good chance of stopping him when it comes to the exchanges as that's when Khan is more likely to get tagged.

Anyone see the Bradley - Vargas finish last night?

Haven't seen it yet but it was pretty controversial according to Twitter.

Watched it this morning, issue was that the referee thought the 10 second clap in the last round sounded like the bell. And then in the interview afterwards he was still acting as though he heard a bell, it was ridiculous. Just be honest and admit you fucked up.

Facts are Bradley was winning by a comfortable distance and there were about 7 seconds left. Vargas buzzed Bradley with a great shot, Tim is going a bit but somehow stays up and composed himself brilliantly moving to the other side of the ring. Bradley then holds on to see time out, the clap is heard and then suddenly the ref waves it off with Vargas celebrating thinking its a TKO. Even if Vargas knocks Bradley down after that, then he just takes the count and wins as there's no time left to restart and even a 10-7 round would not be enough to win. Vargas' claim was that he would have KO'd Bradley in those last few seconds which is a bit ridiculous really, it was a real flush punch and would have floored most welterweights but he's got a great chin, took the shot and refocussed himself like the great professional he is.

A dumb mistake by the ref but at the end the result is correct, there's no way Vargas KO's him in the last few seconds. I think Bradley is a class boxer and rare for boxing in that he's a likeable bloke. Vargas is being bigged up a lot by Bob Arum and he acquitted himself well in the fight but he's not at this level. Talk of a re-match because of the ending but I don't see the result being any different next time, Bradley is a step up in class from where Vargas has been fighting.

Brilliant refereeing.

The thing with Bradley is he suffers from Amir Khan syndrome, he feels he needs to impress so he goes in for a brawl when he doesn't have the power to mix it like that. He takes a lot of big shots and it'll do him some damage in later life.

I'm not sure he would. Bar the final rounds against Providnokov he fairs better against punchers, he was immaculate against Juan Manuel Marquez. I reckon he does Thurman on points.

I'm looking to watching Carl Frampton. Probably my favourite British fighter at this moment in time.

Frampton is superb and bar Rigondeux probably the best in the division. I'd love to go see him fight.

I've seen his last few fights, and the atmosphere in Belfast is superb.

With Rigo getting on a bit, could Frampton take him if he had home advantage?

In a word, no. Rigondeaux will never be beaten as a pro, shame he didn't turn pro a hell of a lot sooner.

if rigo had a solid chin id say no chance but frampton is good enough to land and carries power, not out outta question he could be the man to dethrone an aging rigo.

No champion at super bantham will fight Rigo, he's just too good. Some decent fights at feather out there. Rigo vs Lomachenko is the fight everyone should want to see.
