Think I'm right in saying the only fight GGG will move down for is May. Canelo is big anyway, shouldn't be an issue.

So, are we all ready for Fury to shock the world?

Too slick, too fast, too big, too strong, too young, too gypsy. Wlad ain't gonna suck it up.

On a serious note. It's can go three ways imo.

1) We see very early on they're levels apart and Klit sparks him within a few rounds.

2) The fight goes late and being behind on the scorecards Fury gets himself disqualified for roughhousing.

3) Fury breaks Klit down and brutally stops him, Fury then goes absolutely mental and makes Ali's victory scenes against Liston look timid.

As much as we all want Tyson to win, No.1 is by far the most likely outcome. Would definitely encourage some foul play from Fury though, even if he gets a few points off. He's never going to be awarded a decision anyway so why not see if he can unruffle Wlad a bit.

Fury has a big work rate, which is generally quite rare these days for a heavyweight. A points win isn't out the question but he'd literally have to win all 12 rounds and I can't see that being the case. Any close round will go to Wlad every single time.

Fury has enough power to make Wlad second guess himself, it's just whether he can get inside the robotic boringness or not.

I agree with most of the above to a certain point - TF is fairly quick, and rangey and awkward, but IMO I just can't see past Wlad tagging him more often than he has been in the past and we already know Fury gets knocked down. Getting up from Wlads hits is very different to Cunninghams.

I really can't stand Fury either so maybe some bias toward Klit from me but I just don't see him in the same league as him. Potentially the best of that next level down (at the moment until AJ steps up) but I don't think he's anywhere the level of Klitschko.

Kalle Sauerland said 'Let's have this right. It was a close decision but it was not a bad decision'.

I find it hard to disagree with that statement

Haye announces his comeback against some bum in Janaury.

I'm guessing it will be under some other governing body given that he hasn't got a British licence?

So Britain now has the most number of world champions - that's quite an extraordinary stat and shows just what a good few years the sport has enjoyed in this country.

The number could soon rise to 12 if Fury and Billy Joe Saunders win their upcoming title fights.

Britain - 10 (James DeGale, Liam Smith, Kell Brook, Anthony Crolla, Terry Flanagan, Lee Selby, Scott Quigg, Carl Frampton, Lee Haskins, Jamie McDonnell)
USA - 9 (Deontay Wilder, Daniel Jacobs, Floyd Mayweather, Jermall Charlo, Keith Thurman, Timothy Bradley, Adrien Broner, Terence Crawford, Gary Russell Jr)
Mexico - 8 (Saul Alvarez, Francisco Vargas, Leo Santa Cruz, Julio Ceja, Carlos Cudras, Juan Francisco Estrada, Pedro Guevara, Javier Mendoza)
Japan - 8 (Takashi Uchiyama, Shinsuke Yamanaka, Kohei Kono, Naoya Inoue, Kazuto Ioka, Ryoichi Taguchi, Katsunari Takayama, Kosei Tanaka)
Russia - 5 (Denis Lebedev, Grigory Drozd, Sergey Kovalev, Fedor Chudinov, Eduard Troyanvsky)
Ukraine - 3 (Wladimir Klitschko, Viktor Postol, Vasyl Lomachenko)
Puerto Rico - 3 (Javier Pedraza, Roman Martinez, McJoe Arroyo)
Thailand - 3 (Pungluang Sor Singyu, Amnat Ruenroeng, Wanheng Menayothin)
Argentina - 2 (Victor Ramirez, Jesus Cuellar)
Germany - 2 (Jurgen Brahmer, Arthur Abraham)
Dominican Republic - 2 (Javier Fortuna, Juan Carlos Payano)

He's been singing 'Wind beneath my wings' to Wlad now  wtf

Been getting pubs & casinos to buy this all day. It's set to be the 4th biggest PPV Sky have done. £175 for this fight, landlords make loads from Sky.

I thought most landlords give them grief over it? Don't they pay like £500 a month for Sky Sports?

I think it depends on floorspace per metre or something, but I know it's hella expensive for pubs.

On the fight, the more I think about it, the more I think Fury is in for a really bad night....

Have you seen videos of the ring? It's like a mattress. Rules state one layer of foam, they've put three down. Klitschko fights are always riddled with snide little tricks.

Layer removed, fight goes ahead. It'll still be spongy buy that's better than fighting on a trampoline. This had exposed the game plans though. Fury will be moving and Wlad wants to fight mid range.

Fingers crossed for your man mate. I worry that Klit is just that bit too accurate with his jabs and left hooks and Fury throws a lot of big inaccurate swings at times, Klit can dodge, bang, left hook, goodnight Vienna!

I think Fury wins the majority of the rounds. Up to him whether he then risks settling for the decision, or takes into account the corrupt judging and goes for the KO. Unfortunately I think the latter would end in him on the canvas.
