So here it is, the ONLY table that matters down here, and here it is:
DE8C595A-84C8-443D-8F40-1E4B9E0A3AEF.jpeg

So a strong Brotherhood debut from Torquay and it looks like there will be no catching them, however for me the real Brotherhood leaders are Notts County, 2 wins 2 draws and 2 defeats shows that they are true Brother friends to all the others. Meanwhile at the wrong end could Chesterfields lowly position be a trigger for OneDecentLester to vacate the forum again for another 6 months?
Only time will tell.
And at the bottom the news for Wrexham just gets worse as I have it on good authority that their new Hollywood millionaires are avid readers of this forum and when they see Wrexham’s disgraceful Brotherhood performance they will have no option but to pull their money out and invest it in Boreham Wood or Solihull Moors instead.

Could Torquay be on course for a historic and totally unprecedented double putting them in forever football folklore?

Don't forget the goodwill points as well. Bonus point for a draw and then when the business end comes, 2 point deduction for any club beating a higher placed Brother. I reckon bring that in around the 28 game mark with 16 to play.

Shouldn’t this be in the tinpot thread.

He's clearly just a bitter, twisted, resentful old man because his team will never ever ever be eligible to compete in this most illustrious of leagues.

Hello Brothers.

I'm posting to let you all know that I'm planning on running this again for next season but there'll be some changes to the format. You see, I did finally get round to reading Animal Farm thanks to this nasty covid business and I think I agree with Mr Orwell - some animals are more equal than others - and with these fine words in mind I'm planning on splitting the Brotherhood league into 3 divisions.

This is only a rough idea at this time but I feel it wise to separate the sides accordingly. Therefore, Division 1 will only feature the true brothers, the two (or more) times relegated from the FL sides go into Div 2 and the reformed clubs to make up Div 3.

Dear nana was right when she used to tell me that over complicating the simple stuff can lead to a much more satisfying end result. What say you chaps?

ps - FAO Wrexham fans , please do not abstain on this one too. Ta ra.

Aren't we the only non reformed side to be crap enough to be relegated out of the league twice?

3 brothers and fucking Barrow. Be a travesty if any 3 of you came down.
Grimsby and Barrow nailed on.
Southend keep picking up results here and there that you wouldn’t expect and they won’t go down and despite the Vale fans pessimism after every defeat they are well enough ahead of it to not get dragged in.
We have won one of our last 12 games and we were lucky to win that too, we fully deserve relegation and sadly barring a miracle we will be getting it.

Think Lincoln were way ahead of you on that one
Not sure we can count their first one though, a brother had to be relegated that year as there were no tinpotters in the league.

You're forgetting Carlisle. Sitting on 43 points with 7 games in hand yet they're CONVINCED they're going down. Like a higher division Barnet.

Indeed, I specifically founded this Brotherhood as a safe space where Great & Historic Football League Clubs like ours could quarantine ourselves from the non league dross that surrounds us. You can thank me later when we're all back where we belong. Even HAHAHAHartlepool. :ds:

I hate to fall out with someone who has been generally supportive of The Shaymen, but I advise you that my idea is legally copyrighted and my lawyers are on notice to sue the living daylights out of you if you proceed with this monstrous plan. Hope you've got lots of money. :£:bdick:

Why not?

Notice Luke James hasn't scored much.

He was never going to score a lot, but to be fair to him he's put himself about and has made a nuisance of himself.

There's loads of reasons really, from recruitment to bad managerial appointments. But the main one for me is we aren't difficult to play against and we're riddled with defensive errors, and once we're 1 nil down all the opposition have to do is shut up shop as we're toothless in attack. We don't have enough about us to put a string of results together that would get us out of trouble. There's a daft stat that 14 out of the 16 games we've lost have been by a single goal.

I think that's the exact same as what's happening with Grimsby as well, if not identical.

Always looked like a bizarre signing for them, he's never been a goal scorer anywhere in his career, he just runs around and gets kicked a lot and people are seemingly impressed by him, I never understood the James love in that was present at Pools.

Yep pretty much identical to us, our last 4 defeats have all been by one goal as we create barely anything going forward and I have no confidence whatsoever that we can string a run of wins together to get out of it.
The one we did manage to win v Crawley we had loads of luck in, their keeper ballsed up for our first and then they dominated the game and missed a lot of chances before we nicked a late winner.

Indeed. But only for now, as the consensus among the L2 fans is that Grimsby are the weakest side out of the three main contenders for the drop. They're a hard working side but without any real quality and it's hard to see them overtake both Southend and Barrow and stay up.

I'd be sorry to see Grimsby down here again. As much as I don't mind Barrow they are a bit small to establish themselves in the league so I wouldn't be surprised to see them come back down first time. Southend have been rubbish for years and probably should be relegated.

If there's one thing better about being in the National League is that this sub-forum far OUTCLASSES the League Two forum. You think B2TF and Joe Smith are bad but wait until you meet Masi, Devon Lad and some other fuckers. It made be realise that to be fair to him, Chris FGR is actually a decent lad. If we do come down it will be with the Grimsby lot which are up there with the decent/funny posters like the Hartlepool and Wrexham lads.

Before anyone says, this isn't a "please invite me to the brotherhood" post. We are tinpot as fuck and to be honest I hope we don't change.

Big respect.

You know that Barrow have a 0% chance of being taken seriously because of that Chipmunk fella but the rest of you seem alright.

Anyway this soppy vomit-inducing Barra love-in is beyond the scope of this thread

YOU DO REALISE POOLS COULD GO TOP OF THIS IF WE WIN TODAY??
