We’re not allowed in their rotten old brotherhood league. Don’t matter, we’ve always been in a league of our own.

It's not their Brotherhood, it's MINE. I am the founder and sole administrator. If you were in the Football League in 1986, whatever you called yourself, you are in the Brotherhood. Membership is for all time, NO new members may be admitted.

Pools will be crowned champions as long as Torquay get less than 4 points from their two remaining brotherhood clashes.

Torquay will be crowned champions if Pools lose to Sutton (3 point deduction) and The Gulls get at least a point from their two games. Or if they win both matches.

Tighter than a nun's chuff this.

Meanwhile Chesterfield are condemned to the wooden spoon award for the second time in 3 years.

The rules haven't changed since day 1. The Brotherhood comprises the clubs (in whatever name they were known by) who were in the Football League at the end of 1985/86 season, the last season before automatic relegation out of the League kicked in. No member may leave the Brotherhood, no new members may be admitted. I am the sole founder and administrator, I alone make the rules, though there are some pretenders claiming to be involved in the process. The rules are as stated, no explanation is required and nor will one be provided.

They move up to 3rd, unfortunately can't win it but their endeavours have been noted ahead of the Brother of the year awards held in June.
