I mean we all knew that the idiot Shirtliff was beyond useless (bar Milesy who thought he was the greatest manager of all time). However he managed a 0-0 draw with Brentford a 2-2 draw with Coventry (having been 2-0 down) and a 1-1 draw with Sheffield United. Things were beyond woeful under him, but at least we managed 3 whole points. This is beyond a joke now, and that fat, lying door handle of a chairman claims he just couldn't find the right man from 70 applicants . Yeah okay Mr Compulsive Liar Stewie, you couldn't find a single manager out of 70 and thought it better to leave Brass in charge with his 4 defeats and dozen goals shipped in 4 games.

Whatever next will come out of that spin doctor's mouth? 'The club is heading in the right direction,' 'the club is in a healthier position now than it ever has been,' 'the players are looking good in training,' 'performances have improved.'

If I hadn't got to the point of beyond caring then I would be despairing.

TBF the great bury team thread is a good bit of escapism.

That aside I agree, bullocks literally defies belief with his posts, there was another thread a while back where he told us we were very lucky to have Day. Everytime someone comments on the farcical way the club is being ran he responds saying 'how do you know it is being ran badly?'

The next defeat that I will be witnessing will be Sheffield United on the 2nd of January, I am not wasting my time with any festive football at all. Yeah great Stewie, not a single point since September, a club record run of defeats, crowds dwindling, record losses, remortgaged ground, big debts, constant rumours of administration, silence from the board, a joke of a defence, no money, no manager, its alright though, am sure we are still just 15 points off the playoffs and the championship is still achievable.

I would but unfortunately my last account got banned for "personal abuse", meaning I called the chairman a chancer. Which he is. I would love to though. I urge every sane, realist Bury fan with an ounce of sense to leave that messageboard alone and leave it to the eternal happy morons on there who provide ammo for us to be laughed at.

God rest Nev Nev, I have no doubt he had our best interests at heart. However him saying something in an open forum does not prove anything.

As far as the Day brigade goes I think we have Bullocks, Twenty something virgin Shaker Ryan, and a couple of others who seem to still support the board. The rest seem at the very least worried.

Kind of interesting that those listed above slagged Fenton off at the time and a fair few times since. Fenton was no angel and his conduct during 2012/2013 was appalling, it was his bad budgeting, allowance of overspending and tendency to vanish on cruises that lead to that farce. However he did pump HIS MONEY into BFC to help it stay afloat. And he never gambled everything the club owns all for pursuing a stupid, unrealistic dream. Also he didn't carry out stupid interviews in his living room, insult supporters or regularly spout shite and contradict himself.

The recent performance at Fleetwood and the rumoured return of some key players has given me a little bit more hope but wouldn't be surprised if we lost all 3. Nothing to really be ashamed of, you'd struggle to pick 3 harder fixtures.
