I’m hearing reports that Hammond is going to be next. Falling to pieces completely.

Don't forget Amber Rudd is reportedly on the list, I'd be amazed if Boris has been behaving himself too. Completely falling apart.

Away from the list there are massive issues with the DUP deal. Stormont has a deadline to find an agreement or it’s homerule which obviously kills the deal stone dead. There are also challenges to the legality of the deal mounting.

Tbh though, best not to politicise this, innit. Don't think this is an issue confined to one political party (in fact I think we've already seen as much).

You’re absolutely right. It’s not a party political issue and the survivors should always be first in any debate. However, I think the revelation that the PM knew about these cases and used them to enforce party discipline is abhorrent and should be enough to bring down this shambles of a government on its own.

Humdinger from Priti Patel on meeting half the Israeli cabinet on 'holiday' and disclosing/not disclosing it:

Clarification of remarks to the Guardian newspaper
On Friday 3rd November, the Secretary of State was quoted in the Guardian newspaper as follows:

“Boris knew about the visit. The point is that the Foreign Office did know about this, Boris knew about [the trip].”

This quote may have given the impression that the Secretary of State had informed the Foreign Secretary about the visit in advance. The Secretary of State would like to take this opportunity to clarify that this was not the case. The Foreign Secretary did become aware of the visit, but not in advance of it.

That fucking idiot has probably just cost that women five more years of her life ( at least)
Incompetent, narcissistic moron. He should stop doing politics but people like that never just stop.

1) Met a foreign leader and half the Israeli cabinet while on holiday
2) Didnt tell anyone
3) Advised on policy changes as a result of the meeting

I'm astounded this isn't regarded as a sackable offence by the PM.

She can't sack anyone. It's funny really, and also bad.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
So David Davis has been blatantly lying to everyone about these impact assesments.

Incompetent arsehole.

This can’t go on. I actually think if Corbs pushed for a vote of no confidence he might just win. Incredible couple of months.

Isn't it the Labour Party that is divided and dead for a generation unless they split?

Bloody hell, now No. 10 has had to deny a story that May knew about the meetings and in fact supported them as a way to get around her own Foreign Secretary. If any of that can be proven then that really will be the end of this government.

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
I'd imagine the Intelligence Services would have something to say about this Patel situation if she's going off meeting with another government, even a friendly one, off the books.

Although it's now being reported that the foreign office were in fact aware of at least some of these meetings. It's hard to know exactly what the situation is, and clearly needs investigating in some cross-party or civil service capacity.
