Cracking spell from Ball yesterday.

Yorkshire four down now, Finn just got Lyth, all recognised batsman now out. Come on Middlesex.

Bres has hit 100's this season and Hodd is no mug either, Middlesex's low first score means the game is still very open.

Bess has just got Libby! Notts 3 down now.

Was an excellent caught and bowled to get rid of Lumb, one handed left hand catch.

Fat Samit gone.
Are you able to get down to Taunton Hodge? I'm probably going tommorow.

I'm torn, I'd love to be there, but at the same time I've got training and shooting for county on the weekend.

Maximum bowling points for us, draw won't be good enough for Middlesex now they need to win. Yorkshire need to win, and get 350 runs.

Follow on not enforced, bat for 150-200 more 400ish total required, day and a half to bowl them out at least. Notts just want the season over as well.

I'd still have Middlesex as strong favourites with Somerset and then Yorkshire the big outsiders.

So many things need to happen for Somerset to win still and the weather doesn't look like intervening.

I would have made them bat again. I understand why Rogers has done it though. Bess and Leach have been fantastic. This team is so exciting with so much to come.

Not too much really, if Yorks don't hit 350 then a Yorkshire win or a draw hands Somerset the title (presuming we win). I'd have Middlesex first, Somerset second a bit behind and Yorkshire the rank outsiders now.

Assuming Somerset win which is looking likely, Yorkshire have to win by scoring 350 in their first innings. If they don't get 350 then we are relying on them still having enough about them to put that disappointment behind them and see out a draw on a pitch that is beginning to take more turn. That's with an old fashioned batting tail.

As a Somerset fan I hope they do but I wouldn't be confident.

I hope when we get less than 350 we don't just try and stop middlesex winning and still go for the win.
