What an innings! Incredible batting.

Fastest ODI hundred by an English player, beaten his own previous record.

Amazing, amazing innings. 104 not out from 46 and 8 sixes. Absolutely brillant.

Brilliant innings but also well done to whoever made the call to move Buttler up to four. When he has time to play himself in he is so dangerous.

That's some innings by Buttler! credit to Roy as well for his ton, setting the platform.

I think we've made some genuine strides forwards in ODI's since the world cup.

Just took the absolute piss throughout did Buttler, absolutely not a chance of them chasing that down.

We all know that's what Jos can do however he needs to start doing it on a more consistent basis now.

Very good knock from Roy, hopefully he and Hales can get a long time together to form a quality opening partnership. No words for Buttler really quite incredible, he now has the 3 fastest ODI hundreds for England. I'm sure South Africa won't be happy watching that innings a Buttler back in confidence is not what they'd want.

Just watching through it now as I stopped watching just before Roy got out and walked back in later for the last 2 overs.

Good to see the runs shared around - proves on their day we have a number of likely match winners scoring big.

England are still about 5/1 on so massive favourites and it is a big ask to keep this going over 50 overs. Still, England we 12/1 on at the start of the Pakistan reply.

Pakistan 150-3 after 22 overs. Topley bowled 4 overs for 49 runs :ffs: That's T/20 bowling.

Great series win for England, be nice to leave with a T20 series win too after a dissapointing test tour. Can't believe how much we have come on since the world cup in ODI cricket. There is some genuine quality throughout the entire batting line up now and there should be some huge totals and exciting chases coming up in the future. A ton each for Hales and Roy in these 4 games is a brillant booster.

We're a middle of the road team now which is encouraging on two fronts. 1. It's a young team which should develop and push on. 2. At the World Cup we were down with the minnows when you factored in our tactical nouse.

That we are thinking about what we need to win in the modern limited overs game gives encouragement. Buttler wouldn't have batted four in this match situation in the WC. He wouldn't have batted five or probably six either.
