Well it's hard to tell without doing a proper test but all reports suggest that purity is going up and its thought that's because of competition with NPS and also competition between dealers. Obviously this presents its own risks as some Pills have come back as having over 230mg of MDMA in them which is not great if people don't know what they are doing.

i'd never buy it in pill form, safest when it's still crystals

MDMA is one of my most favourite things in the whole world. It's something that everyone needs to try at least once imo, problem is too many people that do try it, try it in such shit environments or with the wrong people it will put them off it for life. I was always interested in it but never felt like actually taking it until last year. Like Ian, some of the best nights of my life have been with complete strangers in a random club/house, strangers that would now be considered close friends and all because of something a bunch of folks cooked up in a lab. Not to mention you don't want to fight the world after doing a couple of E's!
Really want to give LSD a go as well, getting people to come on that trip with me is a pain though!

The risk is the unknown for effects both long term and immediately. There is particularly good psychedelic doing the rounds at the moment You can order and is fairly similar to LSD.* It seems to be relatively safe in terms of dosage and no reported negative physical effects thus far.

Of course always playing with fire though.

*many feel its the same and metabolizes to LSD when taken.

I tried a couple of legal highs ordered from the internet in my younger days. All they did was make me thirsty and enjoy the music of Michael Jackson.

Nutmeg was fun though.

Of course lets not forget two fairly dangerous drugs are legal highs. Good old alcohol and tobacco. Think its a combined death rate of over 100,000 a year.

Most people I've spoke to about them - regular drug users - seem hostile towards them and wouldn't touch them. BBC Three had a good documentary about Black Mamba a few weeks ago, and VICE have done ones in the past. I'm on the fence because I have seen the problems they've caused but that's only heavy use. The fella on vice was smoking 6g a day of Spice, that is just ridiculous.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/201...tests-illegal-drugs-for-festival-goers---and/

So this happened over the weekend. Don't know about the rest of you but I'm over the moon that it went ahead. Can only hope that it is something we see a lot more of not only at festivals but at the bigger clubs dotted around the UK as well.
Refreshing to see them let you keep your stash after having some of it tested as well, and it not being some underhanded tactics by the police to boost arrest figures.

Yeah it's a great step fair play to all involved . Talk that Motion are looking to put it in place which will make a change from their usual sniffer dog approach which didn't work anyway.

Yeah the sniffer dogs I came up against at Creamfields last year weren't up to much either, they were more interested in rolling on their back to get a fussing than trying to sniff out any illeagls! :bg:
Another point I'd like to add is that I think the amount of deaths being blamed on MDMA and the like may have contributed somewhat to this becoming a thing. But on the flip side it working in Germany/Belgium/Holland was probably more of an influence.

Yeah basically both the above reasons and constant pressure from the likes of The Loop, Transform etc. Drug overdoses* have been on the rise for some time and interestingly I think that the police are tired fighting personal possession etc which is why some police forces have come out and said they won't prosecute cannabis users for personal possession etc. The government will maintain their hard line on drugs but at grassroots hopefully things will change.

*Although it's still mainly related to Opiates in Bristol. Since they introduced Naloxone though those deaths have dropped to Zero apparently.

We've been busy on my time off from here.

https://m.facebook.com/events/201561774083787?acontext={"ref"%3A"98"%2C"action_history"%3A"null"%7D&aref=98

We managed to get some funding to research the positive impact of people having somewhere to dance and how drugs can play a role in that.

If you're interested in this then look us up. :)

Hope everyone's well here. I still drop in to check the latest gossip, but those adverts are awful.
