10 years ago they were in the Championship, now they’re in the same division as Hemel Hempstead Town and Aveley. I’d call that down on its luck, 13 game winning streak or not
They were indeed in the Championship but they are traditionally a non league club that were punching massively above their weight by being in there. Their current level is only 1 level below where I would place their natural level.

It's a shame we're so banged up at the moment, as a replay at Pride Park would normally be one to look forward to. But with 7 out injured(and I doubt any of them come back in time for this time one) and others playing through the pain barrier, it's a game we could really do without.

Just have the game decided in the 90 minutes. Almost wouldn't care if Derby ran in a couple of quick goals and then eased off the tempo and let us play it out with the minimal amount of energy required.

My team would be Davies: Cooney, Billington, Offord, Demetriou, Adebisi, White, Colkett, Tracey, Baker-Richardson, Rowe.

Can't start any U18s as they have the cup on Thursday, can't start O'Riordan as he's away with the U21s. So It'll be another short bench I'd imagine.

Why’s wrexham vs yeovil on tv?

or wimbledon vs ramsgate?

they’re ridiculous games to have on tv, surely that’s a joke.

Chesterfield vs orient would surely be better than both of those for instance?

Ours is because Ramsgate are the lowest ranked side still in barring replays. Romance of the cup and all that. Though there was nothing romantic about Ramsgate when we played them down there years ago. Every feral youth from miles around came out to have a pop at us. Even heard their keeper asking his mates behind the goal whether they "managed to get some".

Back in the day we called them Ramsgutter. I didn't go to their ground but I understand that it was a bad experience.

Still, the match is at Plough Lane and we should win. As I work weeknights I have to juggle holiday. Thankfully I can do no wrong in my manager's eyes so it shouldn't be a problem.

We’ve thrown away a 2 goal lead against the mighty Slough Town.

Thankfully we’re a lot more attack minded now which is a good job as our defending is nothing short of diabolical at the minute.
This one will end up about 6-3 to us.

Somehow were winning at Derby. Expected to get battered tonight. No long, Nevitt, Williams, Powell, Tabiner, O'Riordan, Lunt, Holicek and Tracy and Thomas only on the bench, we can't even fill the bench, other than Tracy and Thomas the rest of it is kids.

3-1 up now the goal machine that is Mickey Demetriou with the goal. I would say the Derby fans will be leaving, but from the puctures I've seen I'm not sure they turned up in the 1st place.

Another very impressive result for Crewe. Think it’s between the current top 3 and then for the autos this season

Was anyone suggesting it was only going to be the top 3 in the first place?

There’s always surprise sides and this league is always a tight affair

5 goals for us, 4 in just over half an hour. Amazing stuff. Scarborough kept going tbf, but they missed their chance on the plastic pitch up at the Flamingo Land Stadium. Difference in class shone through tonight.

Should boost our confidence, Grimsby will probably be shitting themselves seeing that result.

What an unbelievable result for the Alex last night. Can't imagine many(including me) gave us much hope before the game, but the players stepped up once again and proved people wrong. Easily our biggest upset in probably 20 years. What a team the management have put together.

Onwards to Bristol Rovers, fantastic chance to get to Round 3 for only the 2nd time in the last 15 years.

An away win at Accrington at last and nicely sets up the McCann-Fergie derby in the next round

Shouldn't be any problem beating Grimsby, having scored five against Scarborough, as they struggle to find the net...err, oh, perhaps they don't!

Probably sets us up for a glorious 0-0

Is it really in 20 years? Not dismissing it because it’s a great result but we’ve been to the stadium of light and won in the previous two seasons in the FA Cup and did not feel atleast to me anything close to that.

He meant our biggest upset not the biggest upset in general.

We've been pitiful in cup competitions throughout our history so I'd say its our best cup result since nearly knocking Everton out at Goodison in 2002 and giving them an almighty scare in the replay.

I don’t think that’s what Conker meant, I think he meant that when Mansfield beat a team of a similar size away it didn’t feel that big a deal.
