Is it true Notts County not even sold 3k for tonight?

Freezing Friday night cup game against Shrewsbury you expect a decent drop off but that seems crazy low.

I suspect it’ll end up a bit more with more buying on the day than usual to make sure it’s on with the weather, but doubt it’ll make 4k.

It’s not really surprising. He’s earned the right to with his success overall obviously, but Williams treats cup games with complete disdain for the most part, and people have basically caught on. Even in the build up to this it’s all ‘a good chance to get minutes into people’s legs’ more than it’s ‘a great chance to make the third round’. Club decided from the off they weren’t opening half the ground for it. Treat a game like a reserve fixture and you’ll get a reserve game crowd, I guess.

I get all the latest Notts news from Mansfield fans.

Freezing temperatures, Friday and the strong possibility of a rotated and uninspiring lineup.

I hope we try and make a rare 3rd round appearance, but if the lineup looks weak, then I'm betting big on the away win.

Yeah I get the excuses, plenty which are legit I just think that’s a crazy drop off good few thousand short of where it should be all considered.

-5 here Saturday morning so I cant see anything other than a postponement. If the game then goes to a replay after that not sure where they would fit it in, probably 3rd round day and move the potential 3rd round game to midweek.

Hope the Oxford game goes ahead. I fancy a day out in Oxford. Not played there since the 05 06 season. Remember playing them in the Championship on a couple of occasions as well. Looking forward to a good piss up and I fancy us to get a replay.

Confirmed as postponed, atleast were in the 3rd round draw. Our 2nd round game vs Bristol Rovers will be played on 12th December.

Replay on the 19th if needed, which would be horrendous given we have already moved forward our game with Barrow to the 22nd. So we face playing 3 times in 7 days if we don't settle it first time around. I know the club wouldn't do it because they are desperate for money and don't want to write games off, but if we get an underwhelming 3rd round draw, I would be tempted to wring the changes and get knocked out on the 12th.

Looking forward to a cracking time at Blackpool, even though most stuff is closed this time of year, it will be freezing and we're almost certain to get pumped. Other then that can't wait.

Hoping with us having our feet up this weekend after Wrexham knocked us out that all those teams around us have to have replays or even better rearranged dates due to postponements and then replays

So am I, gonna be bloody cold though. I will be a bit pissed off if we do our usual cup thing of playing a totally random team of people out of position and lose, proper opportunity to get through.
I think that's what's on the cards. Gosling to start.

Crowley not even in the squad… at least we’re cards on the table ‘we could not give a shit’ rather than pretending to care. I guess.

Struggling to see are game being on. Unlikely to get above freezing before the end of the weekend.
Expecting a tough game if it does go ahead, Yeovil flying in their League

The club's a fucking farce at the moment. Not least for this only to come out like this almost at the last minute.

My guess is that they've twigged that we've a player (Olly Sully) who played both in the Youth FA Cup and the main FA Cup; indeed he scored in the first match against Scarborough Athletic. Is that allowed?

That, or there might possibly be questions about our "7 day emergency loan" keeper, who is doing a fantastic job, and I hope we sign him from Bristol Rovers in Jan (even though one of the reasons he was happy to be loaned out - Joey Barton - is no longer applicable). who's been with us since the end of September. I think (given that our apparently/evidently long-term injured No 1 apart, the other keepers on our books, being from Ireland and New Zealand, have limited or zero EFL experience) this might be permissible.

Either way, sack the management. All of them. But why would it only come out now, the night before?

I'm glad I concluded the prospect of a trip to a windswept shithole of a town at the other end of the country in December to see us get thrashed was simply not worth it. But what a joke we are.

Paragraph (iii) here might be the issue maybe, or (i), or both, as regards Belshaw our (or Bristol Rovers') keeper.

We genuinely deserve the next cup crowd down here to be triple figures. Absolutely unwatchable.

1-1, Brindley screamer for some reason.

I found that genuinely painful to watch, fuck knows what I’d think if I was a Shrewsbury fan whose first team has had about 12% possession against our reserves.

That Matt Uggla (York owner) is a slimy little tosser, isn’t he?

This match is also unwatchable, mainly cos of the fog - and you can hear all the York fans clearly, who seem to have zero banter.
