That Matt Uggla (York owner) is a slimy little tosser, isn’t he?

This match is also unwatchable, mainly cos of the fog - and you can hear all the York fans clearly, who seem to have zero banter.
The only thing keeping me watching it is to see how Dusty* is playing for York.
*Olly Dyson was on loan at Barrow from Huddersfield (i think it was them?) and got called Dusty by the other players after the stranger things character.

They’re certainly not hiding the fact that they couldn’t give a toss about the oldest cup competition in the world. Worse than United in 2000 this, at least they pulled out all together when they couldn’t be arsed

Pep Williams chucking the FA Cup again for absolutely no reason yet they'll complain about their wafer thin squad and that they can't compete financially with the top boys in the league.

We've been playing 1 game a week generally at this level, it's not the National League where you start the season in about July and seemingly play every single Tuesday in one competition or another until Christmas and players are burnt out.

Let's head straight over to North Wales for reaction to Notts County's 3-2 defeat to Shrewsbury Town

Don't worry about it fella

Book to be thrown at County for this surely?!

I hope Shrewsbury draw Man Utd away to be honest, they deserve it. Completely disrespectful team selection and general attitude, defending is somewhat just par for the course haha.

Superb night. Just won £3.7 million on a BTTS and away win bet in the FA Cup. As such I will be retiring from this forum until Barrow start doing well. Cya.

Given the match fixing at Notts and whatever the issue is at FGR, I think it’s only fair that they’re both expelled from the Football League.

It would appear that Rovers used a player in the game against Scarborough, either in the original game or replay, who wasn't qualified. The debate on our forum is who it might be, there appear to be three candidates, Sully, Belshaw or Deeney...how this happened or why it was left so late to break the news is a complete mystery. Safe to say that some of our fans, who had already arrived in Blackpool, aren't best pleased.

The next issue is whether the club will be investigated, or punished, by the EFL for this infringement.

The fact we completely dominated the game and Morias was within a whisker of making it 3 3 with that overhead in stoppage time says we got the selection right, the three mistakes could happen at the back in any game with us.

In fairness we dominated possession because we gifted them a goal 50 seconds in. I wasn't impressed with Shrewsbury at all but they've apparently got a massive injury crisis and aren't in good form. The fact Sam Austin looked the most dangerous player on the pitch (outside of the defence) showed we were crying out for more attacking quality.

I'm still annoyed, but I get why with McGoldrick out injured and Crowley tired we've gone down the route we have. I just hope that Shrewsbury don't get a crap draw and the club can hide behind the decision saying it's not worth trying.

We genuinely deserve the next cup crowd down here to be triple figures. Absolutely unwatchable.
Shrews had nothing last night, genuinely poor. The goals we conceded were unforgivable, nothing to do with high lines or tactics, just rank bad and in Brindleys case cowardly defending.
Can't remember the last time I've been cross with the team but I was last night, that defence screwed over the midfield, attack, manager and fans.

Fuck me. Moan, moan, moan.

Try watching your side go 7 down at home to a non league side!

I still have no idea what happened that day.

That's because the opposition tended to never have the ball and rarely capitalised on our mistakes.
We must have had 70% possession last night. We could have had 99% but defend like that and you'll lose every game you play. Piss poor effort from the back three and special mention to Will Randall who's having a nightmare of a season all in all.

We have a poor defence for this level who had a particularly poor night. The goals last night were laughably bad. I'd be annoyed if it was the league, and pissed off of if I had gone.

Pleasing to know we controlled the game with a substandard lineup.

The fact that we had the 2nd best defence in the national league with that lot should destroy the argument for 3 up 3 down forever.

Were you attempting some form of experiment away from the league or something? :ffs:
