If like NASA say the tides on the earth are caused by the moons gravity...................why doesn't it affect the big lakes and marshes of the world LOL

Hears a good test for you Silky:

Place a football on a table, a kitchen table for example.

Walk around the table at a reasonable pace whilst spinning 360 degrees yourself as you walk

Try to keep your eyes on the ball as much as possible ( watch the cat though)

Approximately 6 revolutions in whilst looking at the football in a westerly direction the ball should appear to rise
