Or the numerous joins take the curvature into account.

Wait, I just replied to this? Nice one Johnny!

What size pump can pull heavy oil 5 miles higher from sea bed? or do they have a pump every mile? , and gravity pulling the other way.......meanwhile the moon is pulling the sea's towards it.......( not lakes the moon doesn't effect lakes apparently even though some are bigger and deeper than seas).............its all pie in the sky i'm telling you.

Lakes are affected the same way by the moon, as the ocean. If your implication wasn't about waves, and was moreso towards tides, they do have tides, however they are too small to detect by the naked eye, due to lakes being smaller than the ocean. Your argument is that some lakes are larger than some oceans, which is a completely ridiculous assertion. All oceans are connected, therefore there is a larger concentration of water, which makes it easier to see the gravitational effects of the moon upon it.

I would be interested to learn the crackpot theory on how tides work in the Flat Earth theory though.

World's Largest Lake (by surface area): The salty Caspian Sea has the greatest surface area of any lake at 143,200 square miles

its bigger than the following sea's and that big a lake its called a fuckin sea !

1 Gulf of California 153,070 sq km
( 59,100 sq miles)
2 Persian Gulf 230,000 sq km
(88,800 sq miles)
3 Yellow Sea 293,960 sq km
(113,500 sq miles)

Firstly, the Caspian Sea does experience tides, to the tune of .3 metres, also, you still haven't explained tides in the flat earth model.

I said some lakes are bigger and deeper than sea's..............and i proved that was true see above........how can all sea's and oceans be so effected by the moon and yet Lakes not so.

Simple question to which you YET have no response too..............i repeat NASA say the moon effects all sea's and Oceans and yet not lakes even though some sea's are smaller..............i know the answer btw.

That is true, I will concede that point, but you seem to be forgetting that no ocean on the planet is an independent body of water and are all connected to a greater ocean. Gulf of California is simply a part of the Pacific Ocean, Persian Gulf is a part of the Indian Ocean, which is then part of the Atlantic Ocean, Yellow Sea is part of the East China Sea, which is part of the Pacific Ocean. This is all one large body of water, not an individual, localised larger body of water. The Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean connect to one another. The oceans of the planet are all connected. One massive body of water.

And you still haven't explained tides in the flat earth model.

The earth is spinning at 1000mph? and yet we are supposed to believe this shit they spout about the moon and its effect on the Oceans.

The earth is flat and plate shaped imagine a plate with burnt bits of food ( land) stuck to it and some water added for the sea.......just title the plater and there's your tides mate.

Are we on a wonky table then?

Also, if the Earth tilting is why we get tides, why don't we feel it, in the same way that you argue that we don't feel the Earth spinning??

In the same way i could ask how do you know the earth is a ball? you can't see a curve, everything looks flat ........you just believe what you have been told all your life.

I'm genuinely interested though, in terms of an argument for the flat Earth, you state that it is impossible for the Earth to be spinning at 1000Mph, but then state that tides are caused by a tilting of the disc. It is a genuine question here, I'd like to know the logic behind these things and how you explain that the Earth can tilt, but we don't feel it. Okay, in the previous question I could have asked it better, but I'm cynical, what can I say?

Let there be two rafts ( x and y ) freely floating on a clear calm lake with a rope between them.
Both rafts are still and are a rope length apart.
The man on (raft x) pulls on the rope which is attached to raft y.
Raft x will move toward raft y,… and raft y will move toward raft x.
Both rafts will receive equal and opposite force and motion.
It is not possible for (raft x) to remain still and be the source of the force.

Erm...

What?
Jase is claiming the moon creates the tides ...............but yet they dont effect lakes for some reason even though some lakes are bigger than some seas...................funny that one set of water has salt and the other fresh water ............this is just a coincidence according to NASA and the theory from flat earthers on the effects of salt , electricity & atmospheric pressure is all pie in the sky...this would also be another piece of evidence to show how easily the world has been duped LOL

Must point out that I have disproved your assertion that lakes don't get affected by tides, but ok.

So you have accepted that some Lakes are bigger than 'Sea's' ?
They have tides according to you yet they are that small you cannot see them....LOL
Is it a coincidence that salt water sea's have visible tides and yet larger in size fresh water lakes do not?

Just said on the ITN News that the Freemasons are involved in the police cover up of Hillsborough.

I did warn you all at the beginning of this very thread they control everything including NASA and the EU.

Don't be so stupid Salty i can see it's round right now..............and so can my Auntie Sheila in Perth LOL
Well the moon is round, as is Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, etc, so why shouldn't the Earth also be round?
